Hello all,   i have run successfully the code in the case bellow for a Document. https://community.ptc.com/t5/Windchill/Conditional-routing-based-on-Document-attributes/m-p/189278#M22601   When applying the same code for a different object type, Dynamic Document, it does not record in the variable of the workflow the value of the attribute. Hi, I am facing a unique issue with my windchill and creo. I have the version of Creo as 2.0 Parametric, M230, and have windchill version 10.0. i have recently installed the creo software in my new laptop, having RAID 0 configuration. I need to connect to the windchill via a VPN which I was using in my old computer, the version of VPN and configuration is same as old in new. Now the problem what I am facing is, when I tried to open some file, either drawing, part or assembly, it take longer than usual time and then say error,"Part can not retrieve".  I have tried many options, like clearing the catch, clearing the work space, then try to add the part and drawing in the work space and then try to open it. what happens in this case is the part is getting added to workspace but still can not open.  I have checked and compared the version and configuration of windchill and creo in both old and new, every thing is same. Hello All, I created datatable contains 2 primary key(col1, col2).I insert 2 records("a","bc")("ab", "c") into the table, but auto generated key field conflicts and updated(not insert). How can I insert these two records in that datatable?    

Part - I have a skin with an orthogrid modeled onto it and I am trying to round the floor of the pockets.   Issue - I can fully round the entire part but only if I break up the rounding effort. There are specific pockets which are happy to solve on their own accepting a round, however, if these pockets are grouped with adjacent pockets the entire round fails.   All of the geometry is identical and has either been patterned or created using the same features.    Any ideas what could be causing this? 

Hi,   I would like to know how to refresh mashup data on the hour (E.g 1pm, 2pm, 3pm, etc), instead of refreshing after an hour once the page has loaded. I have tried using the Auto refresh widget and time selector widget but that sets the start time to when the page loads, not according to a set time. If anyone out there has tried this, and it worked for them, please let us know.   Thanks

Hi,   I need help with understanding, how to exclude one item from my Repeat Region Table/ I have hidden one part from my assembly in every view, which is okay.   But my autogenerated BOM table still have all parts. Hi -    I'm working on a solution to transfer data between a PLC and MSSQL Database using KEPServerEX. I was able to implement the push (data from PLC being transferred to the MSSQL DB ) using the ODBC client and writing to a stored procedure.   However, I'm having issues with pulling the data to KEPServerEX with a parameter (i.e. ID). I would like to call a stored procedure or function with the parameter 'id' to limit the result set to a single row from the SQL Server.   I've attempted the data pull on a test database with a stored procedure (returning no results), a function (also returning no results), a query that selects from the function (which returns results, but no parameter), and several other attempts only to reach a dead end.   Wondering if anyone has experience with the ODBC client driver that may have found a solution to this. Dear All, I'm using Mathcad Prime to solve an electronics problem. I want to calculate the potential difference between node p and n. I have equations for Vp and Vn. However I cannot solve Vp-Vn without having Vp or Vn in the result? In Mathcad 15 this is simply done with "given-find" structure, but this isn't present in Mathcad Prime?      

I really appreciate it if someone can help me to double check the following equation by running my sheet in their Mathcad. It is because the result that I got is the opposite with the result in the paper where the equation comes from.   The decreasing result at small w comes from this part. Hello team, i am creating .dxf file and i want to checkin file in windchill, how to do that?

We are trying to start using Creo View more, but the initial view has all the components turned off and when I turn them on the model is at a weird viewing angle.     I'd like to set this up so that the casual user gets a useful view at startup...   I can create an "Annotation Set", but how can I get that to come up as the default view?   Thanks 

Hey guys,   I'm new in Mathcad and I'm doing my thesis now. I have some trouble finding how to do iteration in Mathcad. So in my file, I have a reactor of 250 m. And I want to know how the concentration changes. But, I want the simulation to run for >1 cycle. Which means I have to define a way to make the Cout (concentration out) from previous cycle, as a value for the Cin(2) concentration in of the next cycle. These are for both liquid and gas concentration.   So in summary I want to make a loop of : COlin (x+1) = COlout (x) COgin (x+1) = COgout (x) + COgin (x)   Help guys 😞 Thank you in advance

So when I create a new part and save it, Creo automatically creates a drawing.  Is there a setting to turn this off??  The reason I ask is because I'm updating our formats and templates. However, I can't seem to link the new template to get pulled when the part is saved.  I'd have to delete the created drawing and create a new one and select the template I want.   I tried changing the config option for template_drawing to point to a different location.  Currently, it points to C:\ptc\etc\templates\start.drw.  Doesn't make a difference.   I'm not quite sure which location this should be posted in.  We're running Creo 2.0 & Windchill 10.0.

 Here's a weird question that might be an IT thing.  In my C:\ptc\etc\templates folder, we have start parts for parts, drawings & assemblies.  If I add any files to this folder, it shows the new files that were added.  However, once I open up Creo, the files are removed.  Even if I edit the name of the existing files, they get renamed back to the original file name.   There is a batch file that runs when Creo is opened.  Is it this that causes it?  I think the CAD Admin that I replaced set up a lot of things when they switched from Wildfire to Creo 2.0, which we are currently still using.  The same thing happens with the Templates, Tables and Symbols folder in the Etc subdirectory.  Someone a couple years ago had added to the Symbols folder, so I know it's not a default thing.  Could this be just a simple folder permissions thing?

Hello, I have  a thing "ptc-windchill-demo-thing" which is imported /created at time of Navigate Installation process. Their is a service in that Thing   , named as GetPartByNumber.   I just created another thing just like "ptc-windchill-demo-thing" and created a service same as "GetPartByNumber". Is it possible to associate mathcad's parameters with Windchill attributes in a way similar to associate windchill properties to the parameters of a mechanical CAD?

This is the only statement I can find, and it doesn't seem like it's talking about the same thing.  None of the Matrices mention a Windows version.  This would be for publishing Creo 4.0+ and SolidWorks 2017+ with Windchill 11.0.  The current setup is using Creo Adapters 4.0 on a Windows 7 machine.   Seems odd that the MCAD Adapters Install Guide doesn't show which versions of Windows are supported for a separate publishing system.

I'm using Axeda Platform 6.6 and when I tried to add  DownloadInstruction to Software Package and create or update the package with V2 API SoftwarePackageBridge I received the error: An unexpected error has occurred. Hi all,   I'm trying to run some analysis of a piston seal arrangement to understand better how it might be working.  Having had some initial results, I now wonder whether I should be using a hyperelastic material for the elastomer.   I've created such a material from some data from the web which seemed roughly appropriate, but I've realised that in my analysis definition, Hyperelasticity has been automatically selected (so far, so good) but Contacts is greyed out and deselected.     Is contact not supported for hyperelasticity in 2D axisymmetric?  Obviously I'm running 2D axisymmetric because the problem suits it, and it's massively faster than trying to solve this in 3D...
