Hi I am trying to display browser time zone in one of my mashups label, But it is giving me server time when running my service.  Attaching screen shots of how I need to display time Note : I am able to display the format but it is giving server time.  Highly appreciate if any one could help me on this.   Thanks in advance,      

I have a service retrieving a json file from several devices via the contentloaderfunction getjson. After the json is retrieved I parse the data and output an infotable and display the values in a mashup. If the service fails the widgets displaying the data show errors on my mashup. I would prefer to show no data vs an errored widget. Is there anyway to have the service return an empty infotable?

Hi,   We have a TWX 8.2.5 on a Windows Server with MSSQL DB in an offline Production Environment. We tried to update some parts of the running TWX Application (Mashups and some backend functionality in Things etc.) But we can not update entities in Composer or import new Extensions because of this generic error: [[1'018] Data store unknown error: [......"   What are possible causes of this error? - Space on devices is good >20GB on the two harddrives. - Memory is ok with room for more - Tomcat and MSSQL restarted serveral times - Tomcat configurations without Memory Settings   What can we try to fix this error? We didn't have access to the instance all the time. So I want to check all possibilities before connecting again. Attached a small screenshot from logview

SCO customers are getting more interested in AR and 3D plant. Both Intergraph SmartPlant 3D and AVEVA PDMS are popular in process industry plants. So many customers from these plants want to import their 3D models developed by those software into Studio. Does Studio support these kind of model format? Or how could we do to import them into Studio?

I am trying out a simple test part to show that I can auto-route a cable between two connectors by importing an .nwf file. I am able to auto-designate the connectors, but I cannot seem to get the entry port to work correctly. I have indicated in the .nwf file that each pin should go to the "ENTRY" coordinate system, but when I create this coordinate system in the connector model, the auto-designator tool does not seem to locate it. When I try to auto-route cable C1, the connectors do not auto-populate.   Any assistance would be appreciated! The .nwf file is attached as a txt file.

I was following the steps that the PTC recommended:   -> First, start Directory Server;-> Second, start the Apache services;-> Third, start the Windchill services;   ---- Attachment 1.   After start the Windchill server and check the logs file, I come across the following message:   ---- Attachment 2.   To solve this problem I followed these recommended steps: https://www.ptc.com/en/support/article?n=CS125275   For the first solution:   I inserted the last line on the file whit machine's IP and your host name.   ---- Attachment 3.   For secondary solution:   I don't know how do follow the steps. Because I don't found the files. For the third solution:   I did't nothing. Because the size of the database increases as needed, according to PTC. I have an asset setup in Asset Adviser. I setup a tag in trending and troubleshooting per the instructions i found in one of the online tutorials. The trend doesnt show up in Monitored Properties from the asset adviser page. Any ideas?

Hello everyone,   I would like to sample a half sine, so I made a conditional function which represents the halve sine. It plots perfectly. However when I try to sample it, it does not work the same anymore as the regular sine function, and therefore I cannot get the DFT. Any Ideas?

Hi, I would like to change the default part and assembly name from PRT0001 or ASM0001 to let's say the name of the assembly it's in with "_1" at the end. Is it possible? A bit like the element_name.txt for AFX beams. Thanks, Joey

I am trying to make a "W" like extrusion onto the curved part of a cylinder. I would know how to do this if I needed to cut straight into the cylinder, but the "W" needs to be normal to the curved surface as a pin connected to a rotating inner rod will use the "W" as a guide. No matter what order I use the wrap, offset, planar sketch techniques it always ends up going straight into the cylinder and not normal to it. So any tips on making it normal to the curve? I am assuming I have to start with the sketch on a datum like so...

Hi, I try to create a metadata file but my data contains double or null value. When i try to create a dataset Analytics show me this error: Dataset Create Job with jobId: 56537633-72c0-46eb-ad6a-9e3206c2f659 failed with error:java.lang.NumberFormatException: empty String I think that in the file i don't accept the value null but i don't know how do. I am trying to understand what a caret (a.k.a. a circumflex) character means in the ptcstatus output.  Using FLEXnet Publisher version 11.14.What does the caret mean? I cannot find a reference for this either on or off the PTC site.    Thanks for any info!

These two options seem to accomplish the same thing.  The 2D option was introduced back in Creo Parametric 1.0, while the SKETCHER option has been around since WF3.  I'd like to eliminate redundant settings.  Any reason to keep SKETCHER_PALETTE_PATH around anymore?  We're well beyond CP1 at this point.
