I used Free Trial version. After opening new Project I see loading symbol, and don't see canvas. All buttons active, but canvas blank and see only loading symbol-rotating wheel.

Hello Everyone,   I would like to use the SpotlightSearch function from System/Resources/SearchFunctions. When using Postman to execute this service with a Rest Call I get a "405 Method not allowed Status". I use the following call: POST https://IP-Address:Port/Thingworx/Resources/SearchFunctions/SpotlightSearch The Authorization credentials are correct and the calls work for services of normal Things.   Am I missing something, or why is that not working?   Another Thing I would like to know is how to define the "Tags" parameter for the SpotlightSearch in the body.   Any help is appreciated very much.   Best Regards, Dominik

Hi,   I have a strange behavior when using Select-component. In the middle of the screen I have a popup container with a Select- and Button-component. When I select the Select-component to choose one of the items in the list the UI moves upwards (To keep the component visible?), but when I'm done with the selection and closes it the UI remains in the upper position, it doesn't move back to it's original position. Not until I rotate the phone (UI is then re-drawn). Is it possible to force a re-draw with JavaScript?   Also, is it possible to remove the label part from the Select-component? If I leave it blank it still occupies most of the width, I would like the value itself to occupy the whole width. Can it be done with CSS? In general I find it really hard to find any documentation how to style the different widgets/components with CSS.   BR, Tony

Hi everyone, I've played a bit more with it and i found out someting a bit tricky : If you let some interferences in the model, such as in the attached screenshot, you won't get any warning or failure, the calculation runs smoothly. But it looks like the system is assuming that you put twice the material in the overlapping areas. I've done the same model with adjusted profiles and the result is way different. So maybe, we should at least shoot a popup message to help identify the overlapping regions and ask for validation that those areas will be treated with the combinaison of the overlapping geometries before calculation.

Hi, So I have a mashup which selects a number of properties for a thing. It then loops through each of these properties and Queries the property history. The goal is to take each history infotable and add it to an overall history table with all of the properties and timestamps. The following tables may give more of an idea:   table1 - overall table (starts without any values) timestamp Property1 table2 - property1 history table timestamp Property1 1 x 2 y So after the first iteration table1 will look the same as table2. For the second iteration/property the overall table should become: timestamp Property1 Property2 1 x   2 y   Table3 - property2 history table timestamp Property2 1 z 3 x After joining the overall table to the second property table, it should become: timestamp Property1 Property2 1 x z 2 y - 3 - x The method for this should work for any number of properties. hello, i have a question, is possible change the color of the gauge 3D with respect to value, for example if the value is 30 the color is green but if the value is 90 the color is red, is that possible?    with the gauge 2d is possible using value min and max but in gauge 3D is possible?

Hi, after an installation on windows server 2016 of thingworx fondation 8.3.2 and thingworx analytics 8.3 on the same pc, i try to do this guide https://developer.thingworx.com/en/resources/guides/analytics-builder-quickstart/abq-conclusion. The server apparead connected but when i try to do a model the validation set is nan and i don't see the prediction scroed and the model result. I don't know well the reason, any suggestions?

Hi,   We have experienced the Background Method Server queues being very busy due to mass changes. This causes smaller background jobs to be placed at the end of the queue and users have to wait several hours before their job is processed.   Example.- Change initiated on a part that is used in many bom’s- All kinds of activities are send to the queue. e.g.  -  Promotion / Set state jobs   -  ESI sendings  -  Etc.- All of this is processed in the WFPropagationQueue, which obviously takes some time to process.- But, when other user then does some simple stuff like promote, set state, start NC, etc, there job will be placed at the end of the queue.- This causes frustration among our users, and they think, the system did not catch their first attempt. Eventually they perform the same action multiple time and complain about a slow system.   So, now I would like to find a solution, where these long running jobs can mind their own business, while o

Hi,   I am trying to retroactively insert an alert via a service into the alert summary and history with a custom date time. I know I can insert into the alert history by just inserting into the AlertHistoryStream. However, I am not sure how to insert into the Alert Summary. If this is not possible another option would be to retroactively fire the alert even with a custom date. We are trying to achieve complex alerting, but we want to leverage as much of the built in alerting as we can.   Thanks, Brandon

Hello Everyone, I had few question related to service execution and associated subsystem 1. Does anyone know if Datatable related services (like Add, Update, Delete) etc are handled through 'Stream Processing Subsystem' ? I do see a separate subsystem for valuestream but there is nothing specific to Datatable so I was wondering if the services are queued for processing (when multiple threads are trying to access the same data table) using Stream Processing Subsystem ?   2. The other question I had was with respect multithreading ! When Thing service (same or different) is called from an external system using REST api, will Thingworx spin up a new thread for each call ? Please clarify, 3. Also which subsystem handles the execution of thing services ? Are they executed innediately or queued based on active threads and other parameters? 4. Finally is there a way to monitor what threads are active in memory ? which processes are taking long time than usual etc ?   Appreciate

I want each cell of one entire column in a grid to have drop-downs, so that the user can select the value from the drop-down when the table is editable. Is it possible to achieve this functionality using any of the grid widgets (grid, advanced grid ..etc ) in Thingworx? What should i do to implement this functionality?

Hello, I am creating an external Thingworx widget, and am passing a Thingname (string) as a property of widget. Now inside widget I would like to call the generic services like 'GetBooleanPropertyValue' or 'GetIntegerPropertyValue' or for that matter any other custom service that I have defined in that Thing (Thing is created in composer). I am not able to figure out a way to do so. What I have realised is , we have something like ..'TW.Runtime..' using which we can do so. for ex, if I need to access current session information I use something like 'TW.Runtime.Session.SetSessionValue'. Also there is one more function, 'TW.IDE.getThingInfo' regrading which I am not able to find any details.   Another part to my question is , do we have any standard documentation/guide which provides information on list of Js functions like TW.Runtime or TW.IDE ... Hi, Whenever a datashape is created from a sql query it becomes static. If I make any changes in the query like adding a new column or removing I have to again create a new datashape. But is it possible that the datashape becomes dynamic and adjusts according to the query whenever it is changed?   Thanks, Shalini V.

Does anyone know if there is an Event that is triggered upon server startup?  I want to send the admins an email when the server boots in case of unexpected reboot.

How to export data table entries directly to Excel file rather than .CSV file without using data export extension tool?

We have a number of projects going on and in general I create new projects from a template that meets most of the criteria. I recently had a request to just duplicate existing projects so I thought "I can use "save as new project" to save myself some time". Everything worked well.... except that the newly created projects don't send out invitation emails and the users I did add to the projects can't access them at all.  Is there a way around this or is it possible to turn something on to fix it?
