I'm setting up some relations to extract portions of a master parameter into other parameters.   So far, everything went as expected. Until I got to the end of the string. The last bit of the master parameter may vary between one and 5 characters. If I enter the length bit of the extract relation as 5, it doesn't like when the master parameter has fewer than 5 characters.   Is there a way to get around this issue?

Hi community,I create DATASHAPE, which contains variable (INFOTABLE) named 'nestedTable' (image 1) and have method that returns the 'nestedTable' variable with my data (image 2). I want to get data through Selected Row(s) in List and display them in Label (image 3). But i only got a blank label (image 4). It does't even react (image 5). Is there any way to open a mashup by using a button widget instead of a navigation widget? The reason why I want to do this is because I want a service to be executed when the user clicks on the widget, but the navigation widget does not have a Clicked event.   Thank you!

Hi everybody,   maybe a simple question, but I can't figure it out. I've included the following settings in my config.pro:   preferred_save_as_type PDF preferred_save_as_type STEP preferred_save_as_type DXF   When i open Creo these settings appear in the loaded configuration settings under File > Options > Configuration Settings. However when I create a new part and select File > Save As > Save a Copy the type list is still in default configuration. Am i doing something wrong or...?   I am running Creo Parametric 3.0 M030   Thanks in advance,   Dave

In our company started discussions of Creating Location-sided Main Server.Combined with that also Projects shall be shifted from one server onto another. This requires some pre-work like checking: Who is Main user Group of one Project Area?   Now my question: Does anybody see a chance to analyse: Who (User and/or Group) is accessing and using a Source Subproject? How many data are downloaded from them  (no. of Files, maybe combined size) => Sync ? How many data are uploaded from them  (no. of Files, maybe combined size) => Check In ?   I will be thankfull for every hint, no matter whether they will tell me that it is might impossible for a certain reason, OR  analysis could be done only on another level like ACL Logging or something else. Hi,   We currently are trying to create custom templates that extend the PTC.ISA95.PhysicalAssetThingTemplate so we have our Things in Manufacturing App. Most of our templates extend RemoteThingWithTunnelsAndFileTransfer. From what I can see all the functionality we need can be accomplished with the PhysicalAssetThingTemplate. However, we have one template that extends the RemoteDatabase. If we have this template extend the PhysicalAssetThingTemplate, will we be able to connect to the remote database? If not, is there any work arounds?   Thanks, Brandon Winslow  

I am trying to create Things with the facility to perform the following functions: View Properties, Remote Access/Tunneling, File Transfers, File Browsing, Events and Alerts   Which ThingTemplate can be used so that I am able to view the Thing on Asset Advisor? I have tried using RemoteThingWithTunellingAndFileTransfer template, but with no luck.  Anyone tried to do something similar?

I want to add the 'message' column into the alert grid to show the current value and limit value. But I can not find a way to custom the alert detail mash. It's not included in the configuration of thing 'PTC.Factory.C_LaunchPointConfigurationThing_8.3.0_05'.

Can someone please explain to me how you are supposed to set the placement of a datum in creo 4. Hi, I am a newbie in Thingworx Studio. I have my first experience running on a tablet. That works fine. But on a Smartphone, it is not working. Obviously because I didn't pay attention to a "responsive design". Unfortunately I cant find much information and maybe tutorials related to this. Can someone share valuable links, documents, with which i can teach myself how to do it?   I dont know how the pixel size, determined in the Canvas interfere with the design. If i want to develop it both for a tablet and smartphone, what do I start with? Which pixel size?    So please feel free to share any content, that can help me. Thank you in advance!

I imported .PVZ file from Creo Illustrate but i am not getting same color like Illustrate in Vuforia Studio. It decreases brightness of model. How can i increase model brightness in VS. OR Is there any other way to import same color model in VS.

Hi   Trying to install Navigate 1.6. When accessing ThingWorx with the configuration so far, request the user certificate to Windchill and proceed to LandingPageAccessAppMashup. However, the design data can not be loaded. I installed Windchill in a state where HTTPS configuration was not completed. The guide says that Windchill's SSL (understood as HTTPS configuration) configuration is essential for Navigate installation. Therefore, we configured Windchill as HTTPS with a self-signed certificate for resolution. I then reset the ptc-windchill-intergraion-connector. Previously, we set the base URL to http: // <hostID> / Windchill. At that time, ValidateConnection returned success. I changed it to https: // <hostID> / Windchill / sslClientAuth when I set it up newly. We also added the ssl keystore path and password to ptc-winndchill-intergration-connector-proxy. Hello, I sometimes encounter problems like this. in the assembly I have attached,  I have a fixed part (gorund.prt) then a part  free  to rotate around its axis pin.prt (by manually rotating pin.prt it is in fact free to rotate),  then I added pivot2.prt, it is fixed with mate constraint on pin.it and should follow the rotation of  pin.it but this does not happen, and it also blocks the rotation of pin.it.What prevents rotation? and how I can remedy it?  

Hi, I am trying to do this workshop as shown in the attached picture. I am a new user to MathCAD and it needs to be done using MathCAD. It is an iterative calculation to find parameters related to the terminal velocity in a settling equation. In this case, the desired terminal velocity of the particle is known, I am trying to find what the associated diameter D for that velocity would be, given a certain particle density p_subp. Reynolds number is R, Drag coefficient is C, as defined by the equations in the picture. you can rearrange the velocity equation in terms of v or D as desired. The physics part is easy but I am having the following issues.   Since C is a piecewise function based on value of R, I have used if/else statements to determine value. However, MathCAD highlights the inequality Re<1 for C <-- if Re <1 and says "This value must be a scalar" This also comes up for the R<1000, R<200000 terms. Any fix for this? Hello, I am trying to control the output of the trace() function for debugging. Ideally I will want something like the fprintf function of several programming language to control the characters that the output displays. Hallo,   question about the new Prime 5.0.   As so far we are importing loadcases frome excel calculating the stuff and exporting the results to excel.  After calculating the loadcases we are creating a calculation report in WORD. Copying the excel table and the mathcad calculation in. Now our reports have up to 500 Pages because one calculation can have up to 30 pages.    Now is Prime 5.0 capable of doing such a Report of 200 to 500 Pages? So there is no need to use Microsoft Word anymoore?   Or are there any limitations like in Mathcad 15 where there comes always the message not enough working storage.   lg Stefan

can creo launch using license fom server and local lock license?

Greetings, We have a situation where we have a bunch of WTParts, but no WTDocuments that pair with them.  We also have loads of JPG photos of these objects.  There's a desire to load these photos into the WTPart somehow and create a viewable, and not create a WTDocument.  I'm not certain this is possible.  We clearly can make a WTDocument, associate it and see that viewable, but management wants to avoid the work time of creating these objects. Any ideas how this could be done without a WTDocument?  TIA, JamesWindchill 11.0 M030 CPS09WGM 11.0 M030Inventor Pro 2017Windows 10
