In Creo 4 the items in the Family Table don't show highlighted and pre-selected.   In Creo 3 the instance is highlighted and pre-selected.

Hi Developers,   I'm trying to connect TWX industrial connectivity(8.3) to my composer(8.3). The composer is running in an image and the TWX industrial connectivity in my local. From my controls advisor page i got the instructions for the Thingworx properties in the kepware (PFA the instruction screenshot). The port which is configured for twx is 443 but the port in the instruction is showing blank. The property editor of Kepware is not accepting a null value for port, so i have given 443. Everything else i had done as per the instruction file.   Its not able to connect to my twx.  Its giving the following error : Connection to ThingWorx failed. | Platform = xxx.xxx.xx.xxx:443/Thingworx/WS, error = could not establish a websocket connection.   I had restarted the WSCommunication subsytem in TWX but still not able to get it working.    Regards, Saran

I'm using the PDF Extension to create a pdf of a time series chart.  I have the mashup set to query some data and display it in the Time Series Chart widget.  Everything works great except that the timestamps on the chart are 5 hours ahead of the expected timestamps.  Looking up UTC time, my time zone is 5 hours behind UTC.  I understand that Thingworx stores timestamps as UTC and then shows them in the client's time zone context when data is queried.  It appears that the PDF extension uses UTC time since it is a headless renderer of the mashup.     Anybody have an idea of how I can get the extension to show times in a specific time zone context rather than UTC?  Adding a time zone input to the CreatePDF Service of the extension seems like a good idea for cases like this.   Of course, I could add services that process the data to change timestamps based on the time zone I want to show, but I'd like to know if anyone

Hello erverybody,   I want to open a *.xmcd-file (which created by Mathcad 15) in Mathcad Prime 5.0, but failure. PTC Mathcad Prime 5.0.0.0 XMCD, MCD Converter can not convert too: error message is "Mathcad 15 M010 or higher is required to run the converter.".   And after each converting, I must restart the converter. Is it normal?   I used the data in xmcd converter as exercise, but converting was also fail.   Could you tell me what are the reasons for the two question above? I have two parts (call them Part 1 and Part 2) within my BOM that are used in two different positions in the assembly. My BOM calls out Part 1 and Part 2 twice:   QTY       PART 1            Part 1 1            Part 1 1            Part 2 1            Part 2   How can I merge the rows together so that there is one row for Part 1 and another for Part 2, each having a quantity of 2?   QTY       PART 2            Part 1 2            Part 2   Could this be fixed using the repeat region?  

This is a complicated small plastic plastic part that has three separate parts insert molded into it.   One of the other parts is plastic, one is brass, plus an o-ring.  Rev A & B was created in Creo 2.0 M090.  The model is actually an assembly of all four parts.   All I need to do is add a spec to a note in the drawing... that's it, a simple note change.   I open the drawing in Creo 3.0 & find that over 1/2 the dimensions are missing.   Since yesterday afternoon I've been working on putting all the dims back into the drawing.   I did get copies of Rev A & rev B in other workspaces just to see & yes, the dims are missing there also.   OK so yes, this is mostly a rant & I do not expect someone to tell me what the heck happened here, I just gotta re-create have the drawing.  However I do have a question.   No matter how many times I regenerate the models/assembly I get an error "Model

We've had our production publisher down for a little bit and it's come back up and is now connected, online and ready. While the production publisher was down the PublisherQueue1 got to about 4600 items waiting and ready to be published.  My thought was that once the publisher came online, it would just start publishing... that hasn't happened. How do I get the queue to start publishing? Right now it just continues to get longer and longer and the publisher, meanwhile, is sitting idle.

Hello,   I am trying to add a construction circle into my drawing. This is to match a manufacturers specification for a port. Attached is the spec. There is a 3/32 gage ball callout and I need to copy that spec exactly in my drawing. I created a sketch in my model with a circle in that spot and it comes up in my view. But, I want it to be a construction circle with dashed lines so it is not confused with other features. Any help would be appreciated. Thank you

Having Thing Worx Studio set up for eye wear, you can create an 3D gauge. You can drag'n drop an external data on the text property of the gauge widget. Is it also possible to let the indicator move the corresponding position like in Thing Worx? Maybe PTC will release a gauge with a moving indicator. Till then: has anyone scripted something for this function?

We just purchased IFX licenses and I am working on our setup.  I have successfully created the files for screws and I am able to populate the menus for different types of screws.  Now I am trying to create the files necessary for nuts.  I am setting this up for Creo 5.0.1.0.  I have created a custom directory for our IFX data.  In that directory, I have files named Excel_ScrewType_20.dat.  This file works.  I created a similar file named Excel_NutType_1.dat.     I then modified the IFX catalog file as shown in the screenshot below. When I restart Creo and insert screws using IFX, the nut option is grayed out.  What am I missing in my setup?   Matt
