Hello,       I have used Mathcad to plot an image of a Gaussian beam I obtained from a camera. Obviously the camera has pixels, each with its own pixel value that represents part of the Gaussian beams intensity. When I plot this intensity image in a 3D plot in Mathcad it displays a plot in the same dimensions as the camera image, but the data has been 'smoothed' out and now represents a more ideal Gaussian beam profile (rather than a pixelised one seen on the camera image).    My questions are: How is this smoothing of the camera image done? How representative is this of the actual beam incident on the camera?     I have attached pictures of the camera image and the Mathcad contour plot (from 3D plot). I am unable to provide a data sheet as my workplace prohibits it. All I have done is import the saved data of the camera image and asked Mathcad to display it using a 3D plot.  I am new to Mathcad, so understanding how this works will be a gre

Hello, I can connect to a database using the mssql jdbc settings. I want to connect more than 1 database on the same server and port. Is it possible with some syntax that I dont know like commas between database name and connect to 2 different database on the same server from one single thing? e.g: jdbc:sqlserver://143.3.3.154;DatabaseName=table1,table2,table3

I am currently in Things Collection Permissions and whenever I click Edit I get a message 'You do not have the permission to edit Things permissions'.Is there something I'm missing? I believe the Administrator should be able to makes these changes.Thanks,Ayan

I am trying to show in the same mashup multiple graphics, loaded dynamically. Because I have multiple measurements, I can`t have a single State Definition to be sufficient for all the measurements, so I need to read and modify that state definition information. (the numeric limits also dynamically modified)   Is there any chance I can do that? I have been trying creating a thing, and then in the entities I selected my state definition but I found no methods that help me do that.   I am forced to use TW6.5

Just spent 3 days trying to get Thingworx 8.3 PostgreSQL to start, gave up and went back to 8.2.5 which worked first go. There seems to be some issue related to the platform-setting, possibly something to do with the initialPassword. My password was over 10 characters in length. Hi Everyone,   I have a thing which is a data table and this data table has a service which update its lines from some mashup inputs every time a click a button. It is working fine. Now I need to write the same information that is in the data table to a csv file in a repository. I can either export a csv file after update the data table or update the csv. Is there a possibility to create a stream programmatically?   According to this thread, I can duplicate a 'prototype' stream, but I have another requirement. I need to create a new stream an I need to choose the data shape of the stream while creating the stream.   Is this possible?

We use a Windchill template for new ACAD drawings which set the document category to drwaing. I exported a ACAD Drawing from my Workspace to make some tests at our testsystem. After import the DWG into my Workspace at our test system the document category is set to CAD Part. I found no oportunity to change the document category at the import menue. Has anyone a soulution for this problem? Many thanks, Peter

hello all,   is it possible to use in the *alternative name in a automatic balloon?   I mean, you can customize the sBOM tree to see "alternative name" (option / global / General / navigation / use alternative name and customize it). Gents,   Hope all of you are good. I have one more question, and as always this kind of stuff get complex only when I do it.  Under procedure I get some values in zero, which then needs to be divided. However in my case it would simply mean that this portion of the result shall not influence and it needs to get out of the equation (simply wave effect is not applicable after certain depth).    Please note, this attached sheet is simplified to show what I need to do, original one is 15 pages so far.    So I'm trying to make some kind of loop which shall state if there is no valid result from above step, return 1.    Looked throe the manual and this forum, but can't find nothing, It looks like I runned into software limitation (due to fact that is not logical what I want to do)..   Thank you in advance.

I am preparing a Mathcad V15 computation for Electric Fields at given points across a power line corridor. Long ago I created one with a limited number of circuits (1) and wires (5) that processes correctly. The problem requires consideration of the effects of x energized wires at each point k in the corridor and time position b.  The process is to compute charge and then electric field from each of x wires at each k over all b, sum over all x wires, then select the maximum values of EX and EY at each k. My early slim computation used brute force to eliminate the x dimension of wires.  So I would create QM1 = QM[1 for the charge say and have a function QM1[b,k]. This requires creating a separate equation for each QM, one per wire.  My programming effort is aimed at allowing variable input via a matrix and automatically processing the necessary equations to compute an answer.  My problem is getting the new programs to work through the three variables. &nbsp

i am using a table for various parameters used in later calculations.  It all seems to be working well until page 5 of 8 where the error message "this value must be a scalar" is displayed for 2 of the calculations.  Being relative new to mathcad i have not been able to find a solution to solve this error.  any assistance would be appreciated.

Hi Everyone,   I am thinking about but could not find a solution for that. I have a data table with "n" lines and a text box with the value "1". Every time I load the page it loads the data table and show me the line 1 because I bind the value of the textbox at the data table key column. Then I created a service which called "Next" which sum 1 at the textbox every time I hit the next button which trigger the service "Next" and then I have the line 2. It is working fine. The problem is about the Back button because I cannot have a service to decrease 1 at the textbox since I cannot bind two "result" from different services.   Any ideas about how can I go down and up in data table using buttons?   Thanks in advance!

Hi,   I am using Integrity 10.9 version. There are following functions available in the menus: Item-menu / Launch commenting view Document-menu / Create Review session... Comment-menu Create comment Remove comment Approve document Reject document But all of these functions are non-active and I can't find a way to enable these functions. If I click the Create Review session, an information box opens and says: "MKS124814: Cannot show view information: MKS757252: Cannot create a Review Session for Document 9605. Commenting is not enabled in the Customer Input Document type.” I can't find a way to enable commenting in Integrity Administrator. But the installation cannot be completed because we get the following error on the stage "Connecting to PTC.com":   All the data inputted was checked numerous times and is correct. Hi, I made my first experience of CPU dismantling.At closer distance from the real world object (image_1), thingmark remains tracked. But as soon as I step a bit backwards, far from the real world object (image_2), thingmark loses track and the virtual 3D model disappears. Then I have to again go closer and track the thingmark to resume the experience. I wonder, for such small objects like CPU, if there are such problems, how can this technology be used for very big machines in industries?Is there a setting in Thingworx Studio which allows us to go far from the object without losing track of thingmark? I have found that I am able to manually index our table by inserting CL COMMANDS into tool motions.  The problem is that after I rotate the table, I then go to re-position the turret, but it tries to re-position the table to the coordinate system that is selected in the sequence instead of leaving it where I positioned it.Basically I am looking for the ability that trajectory milling gives you, except without the requirements of using a toolTo better explain what I am trying to say, I will explain my current situation.  I am trying to insert safety moves for the operator.I have created a drilling sequence that follows a CSYS for B180, after the drill completes its cycle I then inserted  CL COMMANDS into the tool motion tabs of ROTABL/ATANGL,90,CCLW.  This command turns the table from 180 to 90.  I then move the Z in to 1.0 (our table moves, not the spindle), which brings the table close to the operator so he can remove clamps.
