After starting at a new job a few weeks ago, this is the first time I've added a threaded hole to a model.  Instead of the proper callout of 4-40 UNC-2B.... is just reads Note_0, Note_1, Note_2, etc.  Under Add A Note in the feature, the checkbox is checked.  Also, the parameters are filled in for the features as well.  Is there a way to toggle to show the correct thread note??

Hi, I use on drawing repeat region with column user defined parameter rel.qty. I need to display my qty parameter in quantity bom ballon. I tryed to modify bom balloon symbol, but it doesnt work. See attached picture. Thanks for any ideas.  

Is possible to get access to PTC hosted ThingWorx environment.  i.e. PTC provides hosted ThingWorx environment.  I want to run some exe on this environment to automate some of the manual task. Is it possible to get access such machine or VM?

I Import Manufacturing Extension in to my thingworx 8.2 and through which i can access manufacturing app but i don't  know about how to configure Kepware tag and get runtime value for there. i configure server and Discover device successfully....   Thanks in advance   

I downloaded the Thingworx Analytics Trial from here: https://developer.thingworx.com/resources/downloads/analytics-trial-edition My desktop runs Windows 10 Pro, and I installed Docker 17.09.0-ce as suggested in the Trial Edition Guide included in the package above. Docker is tested with hello-world and returned an expected output.    Then, I tried to run "AnalyticsTrialEdition-8.2.0-r3-windows-installer", but I failed when it tried to install Analytics Server. I guess it might be the reason that my Foundation is not up. Instead running the bundle that installs the entire package at once, I installed each component one by one.   I installed "installer-twxfoundationH2-devzone-windows", and then "AnomalyDetectionServices-8.2.0-windows-installer". When I got to "ThingWorxAnalyticsServer-8.2.0-r4-windows-installer", it didn't seem be installed correctly. I have encountered following errors. And I didn't see any new Things created on my Thingworx composer.   &

When I go to do a swept blend I select the sketch to be the trajectory. When I click the Sections tab next to the references tab, the normal menu where I can select or sketch sections does not appear; the tab does not lead to anything. It once worked, and now it does not appear. This happens while trying to create a new swept blend, and on parts that have existing swept blends I can no longer edit the sections because this tab leads to no menu. Is there a solution to this?

I am developing my own experience in thingworx studio. I have attached some buttons for opening some documents and videos using JS code in the home.js file by providing the links of the videos and the documents. Now I am trying to open a pdf file using the same procedure. While previewing the experience, the PDF file is opening, but after publishing when I am trying to open that from my tab, it's showing a white page.I have adobe reader installed in my tab. Is there any procedure I can use to open a PDF file in thingworx studio using buttons?

We have a system wide mapkey to turn the display to shading   es @MAPKEY_NAMEShaded;@MAPKEY_LABELShaded;~ Command `ProCmdEnvMdlDisp`  `Shading`;   where es is for "environment shaded". What word would I substitute in for "Shading" when I want "Shading with edges" ? Creo 4.0

I found a couple posts concerning how to do this but there were conflicting answers on how does one paste an image into a drawing?   Like an image copied from a PDF or other source.

Hey everyone,    I tried to install creo 5.0 by changing the default path which is C:\Program Files\PTC.   I created a new map network drive called J: and shared it as admin but when I launch the Assistant of Installation PTC , it is impossible to change the default path. It indicated me BANNED for all applications such as Parametric , Simulate etc.    It seems so strange for me ...  anyone got the same issue ?    In attachment you'll see a screenchot of my issue.   Thank you in advance 

Drawing contains various dimensions with different rounded up display value set  by designers as below: Dim   Rounded    Original d1      154.32      154.3204 d2      150.450    150.45001   Dimension retrieve API is getting the Original value instead of display value which is rounded up. Is there any API to retrieve rounded up value or round precision point location?

Hello,   In our Windchill system we currently have a large library of standard hardware parts that were created in Creo Elements (Wildfire 5.0).   All of our users are now on Creo 2.0, this means that whenever they are loading an assembly that contains a standard hardware part, Creo marks it as changed and presents the user with the "The object is read only as it is not checked out" with the 4 available actions, Continue, check-out etc. This means that the user has to select an option every time they load the model to not modify the standard hardware part in Windchill.   What I'm wondering is - is there a way in Windchill that I can effectively open a part in Creo 2.0 that was initially created in Creo Elements and regenerate it and resave it to Windchill as a Creo 2.0 model, for hundreds of parts automatically?   Any help is much appreciated!   Kind Regards  

hello everyone !  I get an issue about the new platform agent of creo named "Creo Platform Services" . I installed the version Creo 4.0 M050 on server Microsoft 2016 :  1st issue : platform services failed with the assistant of Installation Solution: I decided to install myself in the folder (C:\myfolder\\MED-100WIN-CD-410_M050_Win64\install\addon\creosvcs_64.exe) and the installation of parametric and simulate successful  When I launch Creo 4.0 from the server everything is OK and can connected to windchill   However when I launch Creo from an customer pc with a file .bat , Creo works but unable to start Creo Platform Agent ...  I retried to install 3x times but still the same  message, I also tried to set the env path in the bat but nothing happen .... I don't understand why from the server is ok but failed with the .bat ....   In attachment, you'll see the screenshot of the message.   Is anyone can help me please ?   T

I have created two MQTT things. I have connected both to a public MQBroker -say Mosquito. Some times only one "thing" connection is true, the other "thing" gets disconnected. This happens often. Is there any issue in using same broker/servername for two mqtt thing.

In our office, we recently updated all the systems to M050 from M040. During M040 versions, all systems were running the model check correctly. After the upgrade, only few systems are working fine and the others are not running the model check in any mode. MCDIR is set correctly in the environmental variables. How we could fix this.   Regards

Hello All, I am trying to create a pattern of extrusions around a curve (Sketched line loop). What I understand is that the pattern starts at the lines Origin!?  But I'm not sure how to control this origin. I've tried starting the sketch at different points but the origin still seems to be pretty random. Note: I have tried "Use alternate Origin" button in the pattern's options tab, but this creates a whole host of weird problems... Am I just not using this correctly?

Dear community,  We recently upgraded to ILM11.2 and using oracle db as repository.  Due to several troubles with source files under linux OS[1] we tried to configure and use GIT integration. I'm not really familiar with GIT and so I have a few questions regarding the GIT integration.  Is it possible to manage source code with the GIT integration?  if "YES" is it possible to use the ILM client to manage (check out/in, checkpoint) the source files?  if "YES" is there a proper description how2use the GIT integration with the ILM client?  Where are the data stored for this source files? Is it possible to manage the linux files also in our oracle db?  How could I create a project (configuration management) with linux files using the GIT integration?       [1]  - destroyed attributes on linux files. I've created a symbol with variable text that our department can use in future drawings. Often its placement is "free", but sometimes we will want to use a leader. So I defined a left and right point for leaders.   I would like a bit of an elbow in my leader, rather than having the leader line go straight to the symbol like the pic below. Under "Attributes" it has a check box "Allow Elbow", but... it doesn't. It's almost as though Pro Engineer is promising something it doesn't deliver. Who'd have thought?   This is 5.0.
