hi,    I have been creating a bit complex model where i have up to 30 planes created. when i turn on "Plane Display", it will show all the planes, i hide the rest to show only what i need.   when i close and reopen the same part file, all the planes become "unhide" (including some sketches) i again have to hide all the planes when becomes annoying ( i have to do this every time i open) , is there a way to keep the planes hidden even when i reopen the file.   I tried saving model tree.. doesn't help.. Any suggestions ...    Thanks in advance..

Hi, I am able to send my Sensor data to Thingworx using REST calls from ESP8266 , but not able to fetch a property value from Thingworx using GET request instead  getting 401 error(Unauthorised)  even though there is correct appKey. I can fetch data using Python but in "C " am getting problem. Please help me where i went wrong. I used Thingworx Studio to create and publish an experience. When I scan the thingmark using the Vuforia View app on my smartphone and tablet, I can view the experience as expected. But when I use the Vuforia View app on the RealWear HMT1 to scan the same thingmark, I get an error message saying no experience found for that thingmark. - I am using the same version of Vuforia View app on my smartphone, tablet, and HMT1. - I am also using the exact same settings i.e. same URL and same thingmark on my smartphone, tablet, and HMT1. - The network connectivity is not an issue either since I am using the same network for all the three devices.   For some reason it works fine on the smartphone and tablet, but it doesn't seem to work on the HMT1 even when I'm using the same URL, thingmark, version, and network on all the three devices.   Any help would be appreciated.   Thanks.

Hi, we are currently working to make our solution more secure and so we are assigning a unique Application Key to each remote asset (edge server). I found this useful article Permissions-for-Edge-Applications but it only discusses run time permissions. My question is: Does the user associated with the Application Key need to have visibility of the platform thing representing the remote asset, in order to change any properties (remotely bound) that the key user has access to.   Thanks,

I am trying to convert a Windows Store App to a UWP. Since the Managed API (MKS.ManagedAPI.dll) seems to be based on .NET 4 and UWP is .NET Core, it's not completely straight forward. Is there a way to get the API to work with a UWP?

I am working on training for our users when we move to Creo 4. The Creo 4 quick reference card does not have a breakout for the mini toolbar with arrows and words explaining what each icon means. This is probably because the mini toolbar changes with context and user preference.   That being said has anyone else generated a graphic showing the default buttons?

I'm trying to set up a connection to a MySQL database that I have. I've installed the JDBC Connector extension from the marketplace and that gave me the JdbcCreator and the JDBCExtentionCreator.   Following a tutorial it says to create a new thing and select MySqlServer as the thing template. However, I am unable to see a MySqlServer template.   Any ideas? Have I missed something?   Thanks, Charlotte

I'm trying to create a Logarithmic spiral in Creo. Dear Creo Users,I am recently trying to extrude a sketch I can do it successfully but when I try to delete the extrude, sketch will also delete unless you create sketch outside of extrude. But is any there any config option or some another option which will enable me to break the associativity of embedded sketch with extrude so that if the extrude is deleted sketch will remain in model tree??

Hi,   I wanted to give a popup message on clicking a button.   Instance: I am using a save button which saves the report.Here, On clicking the save button i wanted to display a pop up which says "saved successfully". I have written a validation like "not null" values will not get stored, so if anyone tries to save with null values the popup should say "Save Unsucessful" Please provide some idea.  How can I make it possible?   Thanks, V.Shalini.

Hi,   I have applied model item on top of the 3D model in Thingworx studio. I have to change the color(say red) of the 3D model on the button click and in the same way on the button click 3D model has to display the original color.   Can you please help me how to implement this. But when I tried to use REST API, it seemed not work.My test url is: http://10.66.15.150:80/Thingworx/Things/AngelThing/Properties/TestNumber?method=put&value=23&appKey=dab2dc0b-c371-4b9e-8…I tried to use the PUT method but the data seemed not update.Here are the screenshots.It likes a GET method, why? What should I do?BTW, when I used this REST API method in the Thingworx 5, it worked.

Hello everyone,   I have an entity with an image property which I would like to update from my edge device (note that I am working with the java sdk). Since it is actually a live stream from a camera I will update this image frequently (something like 2 or more per second).    It was suggested to me to use the fileTransferSubsystem for that, but I would prefer doing that with a PUT Rest request. Can anyone explain how to exactly send images like this? I am using postman for testing and using the following headers and parameters:   address: https://serverIP:Port/Thingworx/Things/Camera/Properties/CurrentImage accept and Content-type: application/json appKey: theAppkey   body: {"CurrentImage": binaryEncodedImage}   I get a 200 OK response but the image is not updated. I think my image might be wrongly decoded so my main question is, which representation of the image should I put in the json body?   I get the images through a GET request from another ser

so my assembly gave me the old yellow light.  telling me I have a bad situation and it says to view the .crc file.   I used notepad to open it and it lists the 3 circular reference loops found.  Can anyone explain how to use this info or a simple way to figure out what is wrong.  I get the idea and what the circle means but I cant figure out what is wrong. I am making a cutout on one piece and it has no link to the other parts but this .crc files is telling me it does. and what is the .crc file and why do I need to use notepad to read it.  seems odd.I do not have advanced assembly.any help would be greatly appreciated..Thanks.Daryl

Hello Everyone,   I am trying to build a widget, I defined the input parameters in the ide.js file.   I defined 'Data' as INFOTABLE, them I defined it's fields as FIELDNAME.   Now I am trying to iterate throw the values of my infotable in the runtime.js. How can I do that? When I tried to do this:  var rows = this.getProperty('Data'); for(var i = 0; i < rows.length; i++){ I got: "Exception: Cannot read property 'length' of undefined."   This is the right way to get the fields data: "rows[i][this.getProperty('ID')]"??   ID is one of the FIELDNAMEs properties defined in the ide.js.
