For any project using these convert functions like itoa I get LNK2019  unresolved external symbol __imp_itoa referenced in ...my programs.obj   So far the only solution I have found is not to use the functions gcvt, _ftoa, itoa, etc.  Thats hardly realistic.   I have stdlib.h included in the program.  My project settings for linker include the following.  protk_dll_nu.libucore.libudata.libkernel32.libuser32.libgdi32.libwinspool.libcomdlg32.libadvapi32.libshell32.libole32.liboleaut32.libuuid.libodbc32.libodbccp32.libws2_32.libmpr.libnetapi32.libpsapi.lib   I have several Toolkit programs that do not contain these functions that do number to string type conversions, and they seem to compile/link and run fine as DLL's. Does anyone have any advice to offer?   I have literally spent DAYS looking into this!  

Hello everyone,I'm trying to make an estimation about the duration of a cooling down process according to the measured temperature datas. I'm inteding to do this by writing a service to compare logged temperature values from the sensor and calculate the change of the temperature in a specific time intervall. I created a value stream and logged the temperature property, however I don't know how to retrieve the logged values with a custom service. I couldn't also find a tutorial about this. Can someone help me about this topic?Thank you!

Hello Folks, What is the dialog style used in Global Interference Dialog? Which is like, We cannot select the parts or assembly in the Graphics window, but you can zoom, rotate and pan the model in the graphics window and also keeps the highlighted interference. I need the same type of dialog need for my application. I want to avoid the selection of parts and assembly from the graphics window but want to move or orient the model.   Right now my UI Dialog style is PROUIDIALOGSTYLE_MODELESS. Any help guys..  

Compiling some code in MVS2012 that has always compiled for me in the past.   I get these "uninitialzed local variable"  'table' used.   Where table is declared as a pointer to ProDwgTable.   Like ProDwgtable *table; How would you even initialize such a variable?   The call that reference table and that throws this flag is: tkerr = ProDwgtableRetrieve((ProDrawing)drawing, wName, wPath, 0, point, (ProMdl)solids[0], NULL, table);   Thanks for any help!

I have installed creo view 4.1 on my pc, now I want to shared that installation on other pc's as a worldwide executable, I want something similar like a silent installation of creo 3 parametric. I want something to detect if creo view 4.1 is installed or not, then if not, an executable to install it. I know creo 3 parametric uses an xml to install. Any advice or examples will be great.   Creo View 4.1 is necessary to open up thumbnails in Windchill 11.

Hi   Attached is pdf file. If the value of h/1000 (See last page) is OK when used in isolation why is there a problem when it is used along with an equation. Program says there is an issue with units. Please advice.Sriprakash

Hello to all, I'm installing windchill 11 on a machine but the db is on another server. During the PSI error: The directory that you selected for ORACLE_HOME does not exist or is invalid. My directory is: E: \ app \ oracle \ product \ 12.1.0 \ client_1 I have configured client oracles pointing to the oracle on the DB machine and relaunched the PSI installation but I still have the same error. I do not understand where I'm wrong and how to fix it. Can someone help me? Thanks Davide

A user here keeps getting the warning message "Cannot modify this parameter." when saving their model.  Is there an easy way to find the parameter that "this" is referring to? We are using Creo 2.0 M180.

I notice in Mathcad questtions that you can go to page 999, which is exactly filled to the bottom of the page. That's either an astonishing coincidence, or everything beyond page 999 has just been deleted (because whoever wrote the software for the forums can't handle numbers as large as 1000), and presumably every time someone adds a new thread, one more thread will be deleted from the current content. Please tell me I'm wrong.

Hi,Trying to extract/ pass data to MathCAD 15.0 using Vb.Net (VB 2010- Dotnet Framwork 4.0).We are trying to pass 2 values (“A”, & “B”) from Vb.Net to MathCAD and then performing a simple calculation of (C=A+B) in MathCAD and extracting the value of “C” from MathCAD back to Vb.Net.The project was developed as per the documentation available; but there seems to be minor issue in reading data from MathCAD.Sample project and test MathCAD attached. The subject pretty much says it all... How to search a project for a member's Revision Description in Source Integrity?  (We're running an ancient version, 2009, but presumably this is basic functionality) We put case numbers in the revision description when checking files in.  Today, for the first time, I was trying to find a file based on a case number and realized I had no idea how to do it. A half hour of crawling through hidden commands and the documentation, unsurprisingly, turned up nothing. Help?   (I should note, regarding the Labels that are required to post this, I don't have a clue what you're looking for there, so apologies if the proposed label I chose is wildly wrong)

Hi   I was trying to develop a function to calculate flow depth in D-shaped Tunnel. My attached sheet calculates correctly for First Tunnel section. Does anyone know how I can create an Ampersand (&) text symbol, or a shortcut to use it as text in a symbol? Creo does not allow "&" as text in my title block symbol?

I'm currently on Windchill 10.2 with SQL Server 2008.  My goal is to get to Windchill 11.0 with SQL Server 2014 or 2016.   My question is, how do I upgrade the databse, either before I do the Windchill upgrade or during the Windchill upgrade?  The problem I am having is that when I go to import my backup from 2008 to either 2012 or 2014, it will not show as a viable choice to be chosen during a restore.  I know that I have to be missing something simple.   Thank you, Brian

Hello,   I am making perforations in one piece, these perforations are made taking as a reference a face and a refence axis normal to that face. Then I make other holes in the same piece but these I do without an axis, only with faces as references. At the time of the drawing the perforations that were made taking as a reference a face and an axis show me their short (small) axes, in contrast the other perforations that were made with references only of faces show me their axes well (the axes of Are extended to the limit of the circumference). See attached images. A solution so that the reference axes of both holes are always shown well (the axes extended to the circumference limit) would be great. The parts planes that I realize have too many perforations so it is tedious to increase the size of the drilling axes. Who knows how to show all the axes of refence well ?.   abustamante

I have noticed that both in the older versions of Mathcad, as well as the new Prime versions, there is an issue when using both feet and inches units in a worksheet.  It appears that in mathcad 1 ft is not exactly equal to 12 in (if you evaluate ft = 12in, the return vaule is 0).  I am assuming that this is a result of 1in being equal to 0.08333333333 ft.  This can become an issue when using the rounding functions when things are evenly divisible.  For example, 10 ft / 12in calculates to 10.000000000000002.  If you were to evaluate  ceil(10ft / 12in) the result would be 11 NOT 10.  Is there any way to resolve the internal threshold/rounding issue? 

I'm trying to import the TWX Manufacturing extension on top of TWX Foundation 8 clean installation. While I'm able to import the extension-dependencies package, I receive the following error when I try to import the extension package:If I check on Licensing Subsystem monitoring I can see the following result:indicating no licensed features related to Manufacturing Apps (I've just tried to execute the AcquireLicense service of LicensingSubsystem, but I get the same result).How can I import the Manufacturing license into my TWX 8 server?
