Hi All,How do we migrate/upgrade data from legacy systems in Windchill ? Can anyone please let me know about it once.Can anyone please answer the below questions1.) Say for suppose if we wish to migrate/upgrade from Windchill Versions which are less than 9.x (say Windchill 8 or 6 or even less than that ) to a Windchill which is 10.x version. How will we be doing that ?2.) And how do people used to migrate or upgrade or do any customizations before Windchill 9.1 ? Like from Windchill 6 to Windchill 8 or from Windchill 8 to Windchill 9. So is it possible ? If yes how was that done ? 3.) Is there any documentation or guide for Legacy Windchill Migrations/Upgrade or any other development like customizations to the 10.x version ? Hello Community,  i am new here and also new in Mathcad.  I have the following task to solve and i dont know how to do it. I guess its just possible with programming well maybe someone can help me.    In the attached sheet i have some equations and i want to solve one particular thing. If i set number for kf, than i receive a curve (kbges(tw)). After that i am looking for the minimum of this curve and thats it. But what i wanna do now is, to set kf as a variable that my minimum for kbges equals to 255 (kbges=255).    So what i want mathcad to do is: set for example kf=26 , calculate kbges and if the minimum of kbges doesnt equal 255 it shall set kf=27 and so on. I dont know how to programm it but i think it should be possible ?    I tried everything. I set kf as a range variable form 25,25.001...40 but it doesnt work. I set kf as a  vektor well...the same. I tried to do it with slope ...read all help sheets but couldnt do it.... Than i

Hi,  I have two queries, I have a "top level assembly" of 15 sub assemblies and 100 sub parts.   1) I need to take a "Back up" of my top level assembly. I want to know how to take a back up so that "top level assembly and all sub assemblies and parts" should be with differnt name. And there should not be any link between One Top level assembly to another top level assembly.   2) If i want to "Save As" "Top level assembly", How can we do it so that all the sub assembly and sub parts should also be renamed to different name and one top level assebly to another top level assemnmbly there should not be any link.   Hope my 2 queries are clear. Hello, In the attached file, the function p4(d,y1) calculates for a large set of parameters. Unfortunately, my Mathcad version does not support WRITEEXCEL routine to export and store the results. Currently I have to wait for a long time and if something intrrupt the calculation, I lose all the calculated data. Could you please suggest a better way to handle the outputs? I also appreciate it if you make some advices to speet up the calculation time.   All the best, Payman

I am in need of a resource for workflow code writing? We are on Windchill PDMLink 11, M020 Nothing very complicated. On a CR, I need a bit of code that would: If primaryBusinessObject = INWORK then set sate UNDERREVIEW, else do nothing.   Any item on a CR that is submitted that is in a In Work state should be set to Under Review. If it's not in a state of In Work then do nothing to that item. I would then also need to back that out again on a rework loop. If its Under Review then set to In Work, if its anything else then do nothing to that item.  

I am using manufacturing apps to create assets here. I have 10 lines and each line has a number of assets. For each asset I have a few additional properties to define.I need to go to each asset I created and define these properties which is going to take some time. Is there any faster way to do it? I do not want to go to composer and define it because I don't fully understand the abstraction of the "add additional properties" function in the manufacturing apps UI (for example a value stream is automatically created in the backend etc??? just guessing here). If it is fully okay to go composer to use thing shapes I will do that, but prefer to hear the thoughts of developers here first.PS: The current UI does not remember which kepware tag I last accessed so for each asset I have to traverse the hierarchy of my kepware tags repeatedly. Can this be set up as a feature request? Also if the tag field is made an editable string, one can quickly copy, paste and edit rather than traversing.

If I have 10 lines and each line has many different equipment, how can I create thing templates for each equipment using the UI of manufacturing apps? I understand these things created via the UI already have a thing template. Is the only option I have a thing shape?

I can find these two variables in config.pro file, but in which file define these two variables' path? Usually we define path like this ENV=PRO_DIRECTORY=D:\SAMPLE FOLDER. but i can't find this definition in all .bat files and .psf files. $PRO_DIRECTORY $CREO_COMMON_FILES

I have a non-standard 2 point bvp. The endpoint is not known but needs to be determined as a condition on the forward problem. Then another condition needs to be satisfied at the end point. Presumably one way to do this would be to solve the foward problem step by step until the condition to determine the endpoint is met but this does not seem a very good use of the ode solvers. A worksheet that describes the problem better is attached.

Hi,I'm able to display alarm list on the grid widget. I bind GetPhysicalAssets to the the grid widget. I follow the method use in the Custom Asset Viewer tutorial. Let's pick quality for example: Quality = Good Count / Total Count From the MFG App, it taps the tags from the KepserverEX (KEX) to input as good count and total count. My question is what kind of signal are we expecting for this? Are we expected a step function signal, 0101101 or something else? If yes, how do the MFG App decide to sum them or read them as point in time. This is important because most signal from KEX only output 0 or 1 and hence I want to know how it is being converted to Good count.For run time, again, how does MFG App calculate run time and is there a way for user to reset or to have more control on the run time?Thank you.Hidayat

I do not have import / export license and need to get a very large Microsoft word file into 6.1 Arbortext Editor. I have tried to copy and paste and it changes everything into just text. Is there anyway for me to get the file into Arbortext editor and maintain the format. I found the following quote, "On the Windows platform, Servigistics Arbortext Editor enables you to copy content from other applications and paste the content into your document using matching markup from your document type. For example, assume you are authoring a DITA document and copy a bullet list in a Microsoft Word document. When you paste that list into your DITA document, it will be pasted with the appropriate ul and li tags."   Please help.

We have created some windows programs to control input-Vars in prime 3.1 worksheets. This worked fine for Version 3.1 but not in 4.0: Mathcad prime crashes after sending some input vars. The error message refers to a corrupt heap. The automation dll of version 4 was referenced.   To verify the issue between Mathcad 3.1 and 4.0 I have created a worksheet in Mathcad 3 and imported that to Mathcad 4. I have also created two client-applications, one referencing automation dll of version 3 and the other to version 4. The line ClientApp3+Mathcad3 worked fine and ClientApp4+Mathcad4 crashed. The worksheets had identical content. Is there a bugfix available?   Mathcad Prime 4.0 Version: F000 (2017.02.26.001/4.0.0.54)    

Ok...I thought I could do this, but I keep getting two holes in the center.I've created the center hole and am trying to pattern one to the right, horiz, 100mm, and one to the left, the same distance, in the same command. I can pick the two directions and offset, but keep getting a duplicate hole in the center. Number of members in both directions must be two or I get an error.I would think this can be done without getting a duplicate hole in the middle, but maybe not? If someone could shed some advise I'd greatly appreciate it!
