Hi,I have downloaded the mail server extension from the marketplace but my ThingWorx composer is not allowing me to import any file including any extensions. I am using the academic extension composer 7.Can you please guide me on how can I import this extension? I am also attaching an image of the options which the import/export tab in my composer offers.

I am new to Creo Schematics. I went through the LMS tutorials and got 94% on the assessment.Now, I'm trying to generate my first live schematic. I have the library of IEEE symbols from Virtual Interconnect. Many interesting components, unfortunately, I need to do diagrams for wiring harnesses and 90% of what's in that library doesn't work for me. So, I want to draw my own circuit symbols. We won't be using wiring diagrams as such.My first attempt was to make a symbol for a double fuse holder as a group so I could place the two sections anywhere. TO do this, I need to place two arcs to make the fuse shape.Neither of the two arc selections in the geometry tab seem to work. I get an error "Operation only valid in EDIT mode" when I try to draw. I can draw lines and boxes all day without errors.Does anyone have a link to a true tutorial on how to draw in Creo Schematics? Hello All,  I am trying to export the current sheet of a drawing to either .pdf/tiff. I am using ProPrintExecute. Can someone please share a sample of this function? Hi  everyone, I want to discuss the performance about the configuration below:Azure Sql database : S0 standard 10 DTUAzure Virtual machine: Basic A4 (8 vcpus, 14 GB memory)I noticed a lower performance, for example, get the things entities, than the Local MSQL database.When I click on Things, Thingworx give me back all the things:the response is very different here is the result:1) Thingworx 8 + Azure Sql   (very slow!!!!)    (5715 ms )2) Thingworx 8 + Local MSQL  (157 ms !!)I belive that exist a solution to increase performance ..Do you have any suggestion?Thanks

Hi everyone, I would like to be able to use the Minimize built-in function in a program.  I am obviously making something wrong (see attached example). I understand that (even if one does not need to write it explicitly) there is a "solve block" involved. Is it possible to use a solve block in a program? thanks a lot for any hints. Hey all,I have rebuild the Blue Pump Demo for the Hololens and with gestures and voice commands.Everythings is working fine instead of the "live" data coming from ThingWorx.I am using a Thing that is generating random data on his properties. I use the external data panel in Studio to bind the properties to 3D gauges and 3D Labels in the Hololens experience. In the Composer and in the experience preview i see that data is changing but on the Hololens I see no data.Has anybody the same issue?Seb

Hi,   In MFG App, I have list of assets in grid. The grid is filled with data taken from GetPhysicalAssets service. When I select the row in the grid for the physical asset list, I would like to change the image widget placed in the mashup. How do I do that? Back when I was using the Irix OS on SGI unix machines, I had the config option pro_group_dir set to a local directory the user had write access to, and then in that directory I had a link to the approved system library of UDF's.   I just tried to do the same thing in Windows 10. I made a shortcut of the system group library folder and placed that in the local directory on the client PC. After setting the config option to point to the local group lib, I don't see the shortcut directory in the list.    When the config option is set to the server location, I see all the sub-directories there.    Is there a different way to make a link in Windows that Creo will recognize as a actual directory?

Hello to all,   I am looking to see if you can tell MathCAD to integrate not along the x axis by along the y axis.   In the attached I am trying to integrate the area above the plotted line i.e. from 0m upward to 5m integrating all the values of x in terms of y as opposed to the default which is to integrate under the line all the values of y in terms of x. There is madness to the logic as to why I want to do this I promise.   If I can get this to work the answer should obviously be 25m^2.   Thanks   Andy

Is it possible to add push button to the Creo Ribbon Group by  coding instead of saving customize.ui file. Right now I am using ProMenubarmenuPushbuttonAdd() then saving my toolkit command to required Group.   And also I want to rename the default group name "TOOLKIT" which created on start of the application.

Hello Everyone, I am having an issue with hidden lines in the drawing as it is displayed on the monitor.   When I make each view "hidden" the hidden lines are the same color and pattern as the rest of the geometry.   however when i print or export to pdf or dwg it does show the hidden dashed lines.  I have been searching the forums and trying to tweak the pen table but no luck yet.   Any ideas to fix?Here is my current pen table! Pen 1 = white entities (object lines)! Pen 2 = yellow entities (text, dimensions, cross hatching)! Pen 3 = gray entities (hidden lines)! Hi. We have very specific drawingssettings set up in Creo. I have recorded a mapkey for printing different sizes of PDF. Problem is that Creo mapkeys cannot handle the windows printer manager and for now our printings are semi-automatic. How can I handle programs with creo mapkeys outside Creo?    I use F6 to run the printing steps and end up with following view in "Printer View". Even though I have recorded the mapkey to change from \\nivm374 printer to PDD995 it simply don't work.    Anyone have a clue how to handle this type of issues? Somehow PTC handles this via File->Save As-> Quick Export.   I have also noted that it is possible to run a OS Script when recording a mapkey but I did not seem to get it to work either.    Thank you for your time. Hello to all,   I am interested to know if it is possible to mathmatically define a curve as a function. i.e. if I have an xy plot which I have created a curve for i.e. a polyfit or similar. Is it then possible to get MathCAD to define that plot as a function of x? i.e. if I have a polyfit line (which I understand to essentialy be an extrapolation of the xy plots themselves) can this polyfit line be defined as a function i.e. y(x)?   Thanks,   Andy

In thingworx, when I need to migrate my assets to another system, I usually create an extension using the extension SDK.If I used manufacturing apps to create my assets, how would I migrate data from one system to another? What projects and entities do I need to include?

We are looking into database persistent providers for Thingworx 8, however we have been unable to find documentation or architecture diagrams for using DSE to store the model and data providers. Does anyone have experience with this? Also, can DSE be used for all data storage in a HA production environment without PostgreSQL?

Hello everyone, I am new in programming with Mathcad Prime 4.0 and I am trying to found a solution to this problem. I would like to make a while loop, in which a Mathcad worksheet is re-launched at each iteration. To explain better: I have a worksheet (called ConvWorksheet) that compute a lot of stuff and in the end compute a convergence flag (1 if convergence is reached, 0 otherwise). I need to write an other worksheet that controls when ConvWorksheet has finally computed flag = 1. I tried with the "Include Worksheet" command inside the while loop, but I cannot insert it. Does anyone know how to do this? Thank you a lot!
