Hi,   I have created a query service which returns dynamic columns. How can i make an infotable dynamic...to display dynamic columns.   Is there any way of doing this? if so..please provide me the steps of doing it.     Thanks, Sheetal

Hello,   In a service I need to return an error with status code = 500 and return type JSON.   Actually my service returns JSON but the response I really get is "Error executing service getError. Message :: {"test":"error"} - See Script Error Log for more details." and what I want to get is just the JSON {"test":"error"}   I succeeded to have this work if I call a service on a resource but as soon as I call the service of the resource from a service of a Thing it doesn't work.   Any ideas?   Thanks Best regards  

Hello everyone,   I am facing a quite strange behaviour from Thingworx on Chrome. My customer is unable to log in to the composer from a normal chrome window, whereas she is able to do it from an incognito window. Another customer (in the same corporate network) is redirected to IE when she tries to open the mashup in normal chrome. For both cases, it works just fine from an incognito window. I also work in the same network and I do not face any of these issues.    Any idea why this is happening?

Trying .booted config file followed by other errors eg 110 as shown.          

Hi, we got the errors in runtime after import custom widgets, which have documented in release notes in thingworx 8.5, as below:   we have modified the code accordingly, however it didn't work. Anyone have clear idea how to solve this error, which file should we paste the code as different widgets have different file structure. Thanks.

Hi, I have successfully create a ssh-connection and a vnc-connection over a edge device to an rpi via EMS. Now I try the same with RDP but this will not work. I have installed xrdp on the rpi (tcp-port 3389). I have setup the firewall of the edge device (where the EMS is running) to allow TCP 3389. When I try to connect via remote access widget I get the error message [ERROR] 2019-12-04 12:11:18,313 SDK: twTunnelManager_TaskerFunction: Error connecting to 1.0.1.2:3389. tid: 75da34af-e679-4338-984b-d2ec35f8818a. Hi,   I need to connect to a device using TCP/IP connection. Have got the Ip and Port for the TCP. Is there any extension available to pull the data. I have also tried to use WebSocketsTunnelWidgetAndLibrary3.0.1. But its not getting connected. Have made changes in the Configuration column.   Please suggest.   Regards, Saddam

I have to install Thingworx 8.5 on RHEL 7.6 with Postgresql and influxdb. I need to know where the data is stored and what size to calculate to create the file system and the corresponding partitions. My client asks me for that information. I will install as a user with few privileges. Thanks

Hi All, I need a litle help. I would like to solve that, you don't have to sign in every time, it goes automatically log in to user. So i would like to create a Mashup access without login. I tried with Mashup parameter: USER, and PASSWORD, but no success. It will also be asked to sign in. I tried with Application Key, x-thingworx-session=true, but the result is: you mustn't log in, but it goes with error. Am I missing something? Can someone help me? Thank you, Ilona

I enter the initial configuration info and the installation starts and fails almost immediately with the error: There has been an error. Failed to install dependencies: Chef Client The application will exit now. I am trying this on an ubuntu 16.04 VM. I have Oracle Java installed: jdk-8u202 64 bit. Trying to install Foundation-Installer-Linux-8-5 obtained from the developer's site.   Appreciate learning what my options are to move forward.

At the moment I trie to use Thingworx 8.5 + Manufacturing Apps + KEPServerEX 6.7   I want to publish MQTT Messages Thingworx with the KEPServer and the MQTT Driver (Not MQTT Extension).   I successfully subscribe the Data in Thingworx. I created the Tags in KEP and I see the messages from a MQTT Client (Node-Red) via the MQTT Broker (Mosquitto) to the KEPServer. In Thingworx I created with Discover the Thing (Remote Thing) with the Binding to the KEPServer Tag. Everything works fine and I see the Value in the Properties.   But if I trie to change the value in the properties i see in the event log from KEPServer: Warning MQTT Client Channel2.Device1 | Unable to write to address on device. | Address = 'thingworx+invalue'. In KEP the Client Access = Read/Write. if change it to Read only I get an error in Thingworx.   In the MQTT Manual I found: Reading data from a MQTT server (writes are currently not supported)   Bu

Hello.   I have a time series chart with a 30-day history of a property, and a target value. I want the line to be coloured differently when it is above/below the target. The State Formatting option only colours the marker from the data point, but not the line.   Does anyone know how to colour the line? My purpose is to have it like this: Red line when below the target Green line when above the target   Thank you

Hello Everyone, i would like to create a navbar for my master mashup. I can see my mashups in the menu widget, but if click on a mashup button in the menu i simply navigate to the mashup, leaving the master. It seems that is working as a simple link. Could you please help me?

i need to block selected rows changed trigger. i have four Drop Downs, on first DD selection its selected value is passed to next DD on selected rows changed trigger, likewise it works for all four DD. now i want to do the same in reverse way i.e if last DD is called then its parent should automatically get populated. but here even if i populate its parent then the parent DD is row is getting changed and it automatically triggers selected rows changed for its child. goes in a loop. is there any way to block or stop selected rows changed trigger.

Hi, I am trying to create an extension(Thing template with one service) which is used to read the data in an Excel file and convert it to Json. My problem is I don't know how to get file path from the user as input parameter to the service. I have attached the code below. If I give the whole file path in the java code itself, extension is working fine. But,If I try to get file path from the user my result after executing the service is blank. Anybody help me with this.
