Hello,I have actually users who use the BOM Transformer to derive the main Design BOM to make specialized Design BOM on limited scope for side analysis or tracking. We are CAD-Centric with SolidWorks, Windchill 12.0.2.8, MPMLink for the Manufacturing BOM.Actually Top-Down is not possible, so derive Design BOM for other Design BOM allow us to generate visualization and save creation of CAD assembly for these BOM.With BOM Transformer and Baseline filter, we can compare quantity, see if there is new version of the components with the equivalent link. With equivalent occurrences, we can visually highlight the downstream Part still in the upstream Part and find removed Part or new Part to add.Very useful with big assembly, but will it still work with future developments of windchill, given that the documentation does not mention this use case for the BOM Transformer ? (EBOM to MBOM only)Is it allowed to be on the same hierarchy level of views between Upstream and Downstream ? (Design to Desi

Currently, in Review Hub, reviewers can approve, reject, or comment on review items. These events trigger notifications for reviewers and moderators when the last checkbox is selected. However, there is no separate action for individual reviewer to explicitly mark their review as completed and send a notification such as "Review completed by XYZ" to the moderators/author.

Hi everyone,We are trying to configure enterprise-wide annotation templates (xml file) for Creo View managed via Windchill (Visualization Configuration Administration). The CreoView documentation includes an article titled 'Creating Annotation Templates', which only describes the internal XML structure of the file itself, but provides no information on which parameters should be used to reference it from server_prefs.xml or how to distribute these template settings enterprise-wide to all users. What is the correct XML syntax/preference name in server_prefs.xml to lock and specify the path for custom annotation templates? Is it possible to bundle annotation_template.xml directly into the Windchill WVS Configuration alongside server_prefs.xml so clients download it automatically without relying on shared network drives or pre-deployed local files?Any advice or working XML examples would be greatly appreciated!

I am using Creo Schematics Release 7.0 and Datecode7.0.0.0 I'm getting 'Warning - license for Creo Schematics expires in 1 days' message even though my licenses are expiring on 10-may-2027. Here are the errors that I faced I'm getting 'Warning - license for Creo Schematics expires in 1 days' message even though my licenses are expiring on 10-may-2027.

I am creating a 2D illustration from a 3D model in Creo Illustrate 10.1, but I am not satisfied with the result. Most of the lines are smooth and clean, but some appear straight, making curved lines look “jagged”—even though the surfaces are smoothly contoured. To get the desired result, I usually remove all the "jagged" lines manually. Is there any way to prevent this? I have tried various settings for 2D figures, but nothing helps. See the attached image. The red arrows point to the "jagged" lines.

I’ve kinda got a situation here… Consider I have two diffrent teams working in my office. One team is sitting at a different country & the other is sitting at India. Now, both of them are working on a same rocket assembly & the parameters & relations which both the teams are using are different only in terms of names. The result/output of the parameters that are needed are same. Now, if I want to bring them together, where CREO has to identify that 2 differently named parameters are the same & it has to consider a master parameter based upon the 2 named parameters…Is there any way to do this???

Hello all.I need to create a heilcal gear for my project.I’ve tried a few on Youtube but cant get them to work.Does anyone know of a good guide to follow...or even on online generator where i can input my data and download a stp file?I found one online generator but it wont accept my data - out of range.I’m on Creo 11.Thanks

Hi,Does anyone have experience with ‘Leo AI’ in the Creo Parametric-Windchill environment?Thank you

Current Behavior of CreoIn Multi-Body models, Creo regenerates all features following a modified feature in the model tree, regardless of whether these features are actually affected by the change. The regeneration process primarily follows the sequential order of the model tree rather than the actual geometric and parametric dependencies between features. As a result, features that have no direct or indirect relationship to the modified feature are regenerated unnecessarily. This behavior affects both:Features within the same body Features belonging to other independent bodies within the modelProblem / EffortIn large and complex models, this behavior can lead to significant regeneration times, even when only a small local modification is made.A change to a single feature can cause hundreds or even thousands of subsequent features to be recalculated, despite the absence of any actual dependency. This results in:Long waiting times during design work Reduced engineering productivity Slower d

Hello Team,We are trying to install\upgrade Creo View Express 13.0 as offline installer. As per the installation guide, if Microsoft WebView2 Runtime is already installed on the machine, the installer should detect it and proceed without downloading or modifying the existing installation. However, this is not happening. We have, Microsoft Edge WebView2 Runtime version 148 is already installed on the machine. During Creo View Express 13.0 installation, the installer still attempts to download WebView2 Runtime version 146 from the internet.Since the environment does not have internet access, the installation cannot proceed. We tested both x86 and x64 WebView2 Runtime installations. We also tested installation under system context and administrator context.Test Environment is Windows 11 Virtual machine.Need help on,Is the installer specifically checking for version 146 only, or should newer versions (such as 148) also satisfy the prerequisite?Does the installer require a particular WebView2 c

Hi all.Is there a way in Creo 9 on a drawing to move both witness lines for dimension together?  Sometimes I would like the gap closer or farther away on one specific dimension and I end up moving both independently and just eyeballing to make them about the same side-to-side.The only workaround I’ve found is to add a dummy dimension and use control to select that and my real dimension together then move one witness line and they all 4 move together.  The go back and delete the dummy dimension.I’ve seen the how-to’s on the PTC site and other users descriptions, like selecting the dimension and the drawing view using ctrl but that never works for me!Thanks in advance!Brad

Hi everyone, It’s been a week since in my company when we log in the support page, the Search the Knowledge Base bar on the homepage is missingDoes anyone else have this problem? We tried with different accounts and workstation

I am using Windchill Risk and Reliability Enterprise Edition (Formerly Relex) Release 11.1 and Datecode with CPS02 to perform Mean Time Before Failure (MTBF) calculations on circuit board assemblies.I’m using 217Plus to perform the calculations along with a custom Mission Profile.  When I run the calculations the Process Grade file seems to be used for regular Failure Rate and MTBF but not for the Mission Profile.  The Mission Profile Failure Rate and MTBF never changes no matter how drastically I change the Process Grade file.I’ve been through all the Google AI suggestions but nothing works or it’s telling me to change things that don’t exist.I’m stuck.

We have been seeing a new icon in the upper right corner of Creo 10.0.7.0 at different times.  Never seen it before.  Nothing in session this time.

We would need the possibility to choose on tracker field level which field should be visible when the user hovers the mouse over the item’s icon. Now only Description is shown. This change would significantly increase the user experience as reviews would be possible to be conducted much faster. Right now, extra window needs to be opened which results in time being lost.

I am using Creo Simulate Release N/A and DatecodeN/A Running Creo Simulate version 10.0.10.0. I´m running a non-lineal simulation with contacts with linear material. Loads are only prescribed displacements. Model check shows no issues. Run without issues unload and 2 steps, then fail. Attached message. Model has 116259 elements and 10 contacts. Hello,I would like to connect from an existing GitLab repository to Codebeamer on AWS EC2, by following the user guide below.https://support.ptc.com/help/codebeamer/r3.0/en/index.html#page/codebeamer/user_guide/3826291.htmlHowever, the following error appears on the GitLab screen. Does this mean I need to register the SCM repository on the Codebeamer project page, before trying to connect the webhook?Hook executed successfully but returned HTTP 401 {“message”:“Not authenticated”,‘resourceUri’:“/cb/rest/scm/gitlab/14/”}However, according to the following archive,it can be read that GitLab only supports connection via webhooks from GitLab to CodeBeamer, in my understanding.https://community.ptc.com/codebeamer-445/linking-an-existing-git-repo-not-working-due-to-ssl-problem-159752?tid=159752&fid=445My version: codebeamer 3.0 best regards,
