Is it possible to create mitigatable links in Creo drawings to switch to particular sheet ? Like similar to Excel, word or PDF where we can directly go to particular sheet by clicking the on the text in Index. We have drawings where the number of pages go beyond 20, we are finding it difficult to navigate to particular sheet. When the PDFs of the drawings are generated through the publisher these links should work in any PDF browsers.
We made some cabling for our units using existing wiring diagrams, wire length are approximate as we match what we see in pictures and diagram. Our team wants the wire length to match 100% what the drawing says, but as wiring is mostly free sketch we don't know if it's possible to match the exact dimensions we have on our diagrams. We use Creo Parametric 8.0.8.0 with Cabling application.
hi @LucMeekes I am passing array of equations into an ArrayAnd then want to get this function in the form of matrix like below wherein A is the Matrix, which I want to pass to reference calculation worksheet, which is called within main worksheet. It gives the error to check label. Can anyone help me to understand and solve this.I could do this in Mathcad 15 and now struggling in Prime. There was a Windchill update last Friday, so I worked in offline mode in CREO program but didn't export the model to my local disk. Now, I can't find it in my workspace. Is there any way to recover it?I don’t necessarily need the latest version—if there's a backup from last Monday or any earlier version, that would work for me as well.
I have a mapkey where the right click button did not work anymore in Creo 10. Mapkey is from Creo 2.Below I added rules from my trail file: RButtonDisarm... Only do I need all those numbers after `proe_win`? Or can I clean up my mapkey? mapkey strt @MAPKEY_NAMEStart;\mapkey(continued) ~ Activate `main_dlg_cur` `page_Annotate_control_btn` 1;\mapkey(continued) ~ Command `ProCmdDwgCrSymInstCust` ;\mapkey(continued) ~ Select `main_dlg_cur` `Symbol:casc343974600`;\mapkey(continued) ~ Close `main_dlg_cur` `Symbol:casc343974600`;\mapkey(continued) ~ Command `ProCmdPmaOptSymLib` `PRO_SYMBOL_DIR/basis.sym`;\mapkey(continued) ~ RButtonArm `main_dlg_cur` `proe_win` 9 1277 670 0 4 1716 811 1920 1080 39712;\mapkey(continued) ~ Move `main_dlg_cur` `proe_win` 9 1277 670 0 4 1716 811 1920 1080 39722;\mapkey(continued) ~ Timer `` `` `popupMenuRMBTimerCB`;\mapkey(continued) ~ RButtonDisarm `main_dlg_cur` `proe_win` 9 1277 670 0 256 1716 811 1920 1080 40165;\mapkey(continued) ~ Exit `
Using Creo 4.0 here ...I have a 'handle type' part, that needs some edges rounded.I have a problem with modelling the inner round because it has to stop 'halfway', where the red arrow is (see screenshot below). If this part is produced on a milling machine, the round will of course not end 'abruptly' as shown below. There will be some run-out of the radius mill. How could I model this? The inner round, I have now modelled as a sweep along a sketch (you can see the sketch as the blue line). The mill run-out should look something like this: Kind regards
Hello, I am working in Creo 9 and wondering if there is an option for bidirectional geometric tolerancing. I have included a snip of an example I am working on with polar bidirectional position tolerancing. I've tried calling the geo tol in an added dimension, but that doesn't seem to be allowed. If there is not a formal option, workaround recommendations would be useful. Thanks,
I am using Mathcad Release 15.0 and DatecodeM005Need to configure the license on the server
Hello! My goal is to automate the creation of a drawing using parameters and relations. I have one problem left: changing a symbol without having to manually adjust the drawing itself. I currently have 2 variants of a symbol, differing from each other like this: aaa-bbb-1 and aaa-bbb-2. Both are already placed inside the frame file of my drawing (outside of the actual drawing space). When I am working with my drawing, I am successfully able to put each symbol into a note by typing "&sym(aaa-bbb-1)".Now, my goal would be to eliminate the typing part and ideally have a yes/no parameter in my part, that activates one of the two symbols. I am able to fill out a note on my drawing using a parameter, but it only displays the text "&sym(aaa-bbb-1)" and not the actual symbol. Is there any way I can make this work? I am currently working with Creo 6, but also tried it in 10 and 11. I am also open to switch to a higher version than 6, if there is a sol
Hello everyone, We are trying to implement a method to calculate the distance between features through the toolkit. Our scenario is below : 1. Visit the edges of the Geomitems of the features to be compared and create an array. 2. Create ProSelection for the edges of the array. 3. Return the minimum distance between the edges of 2 features. (using ProFitClearanceCompute) As the number of feature increases, it seems that there will be more loops and performance degradation may occur. If you have a better idea, please let me know. Warm Regards, SeonHo

I'm trying to create a button that exists in Creo Elements, but for some reason doesn't exist in Parametric. It hides whatever you click. This is helpful because this way you can quickly "drill a hole" in your assembly by removing parts that are in the way. Creo Parametric wants you to click each part and then go to the menu and press hide. Too much of a hassle when trying to hide 30 parts. So I was trying to create this mapkey: mapkey hide @MAPKEY_NAMEhide;@MAPKEY_LABELhide;\mapkey(continued) ~ Command ProCmdViewHide@PopupMenuTree;\mapkey(continued) @MANUAL_PAUSE TEST;\mapkey(continued) ~ Command ProCmdViewHide@PopupMenuTree;\mapkey(continued) @PAUSE_FOR_SCREEN_PICK;\mapkey(continued) ~ Command ProCmdViewHide@PopupMenuTree;\mapkey(continued) @PAUSE_FOR_SCREEN_PICK;\mapkey(continued) ~ Command ProCmdViewHide@PopupMenuTree; Basically it should hide, wait for me to select another part, hide, wait, hide, wait hide.If that works I'd repeat it like 100 times. Problem is,
I'm setting up a startup that is for editing the user .ui file from the working directory of Creo. After the user exits Creo, I want to copy that .ui file to a different location. I'm trying to use the pro_wait option to do this. My command to start Creo looks like this:rem ** Start Creostart "PF" "%CreoPath%\Parametric\bin\parametric.exe" pro_wait "P:\Shared drives\CreoWorkspace\scripts\startup\%CREOSHORTVER%\move_users_ui.bat" It starts up Creo with only one .ui file read, so I can ensure they are only editing their personal .ui. However after the user exits Creo it's not running the batch file to move the .ui file. Is there something wrong with my syntax above???? I've verified in a command prompt that the batch file works with the variables: What I typed is underlined.C:\Users\Dell>cd C:\Users\Dell\pro\Creo_10_HomeC:\Users\Dell\pro\Creo_10_Home>call "P:\Shared drives\CreoWorkspace\scripts\startup\c10\CreoVersionBuild.bat"C:\Users\Dell\pro\Creo_10_Home>"
I have two simple definite integrals and I want to find the angle (common to both integrals) where their results will be equal. I've done it by guessing, and now want to solve it automatically - but I'm having trouble with Find.
Im a heavy long-term user of mathcad. I regularly embed math regions within text regions in my calcs. Today, I now find whenever I try and copy a math region within a text region mathcad constantly crashes. It never did this before. A few years ago there was an error PTC was aware that MS caused with an update where you could not copy and paste math regions form a text region into another text region. I wonder if there has been a recent update that has broken mathcad. I find i can replicate the constant crashing when in a text region contain embedded math regions, if I refer to a math variable using a text and subscript within the text region, It will crash constantly when copying a math region in that text region above the text subscript. If I use my traditional approach pre-Prime 10 of using a math region to refer to the variable with subscript no issues. ( I typically see MathCAD crash once or twice a year, today its crashed thirty times.) See at

Hi there,it seems, that for all non-english installations and customers of Creo Parametric, the implemented and by default activated spell-checking is unusable.Even worse, when the complete text is red-curled-underlined, the text is barly readable and makes it easy to miss a real typo. I found this page, which addresses the issue: https://www.ptc.com/en/support/article/CS39069But unfortunately (and usual), PTC does not provide a helpful resolution ( "no plan to fix" & "works in IE").Does someone know, how to disable the embedded browsers spell checking or how to change the language for the spell checker ?
How Maple Flow Compares to Mathcad
In Creo Parametric drawing, is there a way of showing imperial dimensions as fractions but have the tolerance values as decimal? IE. 3 1/4 +-.010 We currently run V11
Hi Folks,Using CREO 7.0.8.0I have never been able to understand what the purpose of the radio button designated 'Copy Drawings' is for. I always have it selected when copying an assembly in the graphics window, but drawings are never copied, neither for the renamed assembly nor any of the renamed sub components. What is the purpose of this selection? Thank you.
I am trying to achieve something like the below (the equal sign is text only). I'm not even sure if this is mathematically possible however, and may require some manipulation to achieve? Here is what it looks like when I try to do itAppreciate any possible help with this, it's been a long while since I studied matrices!I am on Prime 9.0 if that makes any difference.
Hello, I have installed Creo Parametric 11.0 on my laptop (RTX4060 and intel i5). now when I open the program I just see a black screen. I have already done an update of my graphic card driver, but that did not help. If anyone knows how to resolve this issue, I would be glad if you could let me know.
The depicted snippet works in Prime 9 and I think earlier versions. Fails with Prime 10.0.0.0.Prime 9 worksheet attached.
I have few images in sheet 1, I want to move them to other sheets. I don't see how this can be done, please help me.
