Hello everyone,in the attached file, i am not understanding how the program r2 iterates.Could someone please explain why I am receiving the same options multiple times in the output.Attached Mathcad 10 sheet.
Hello Community It is our industries requierement to add a caption to each illustration, to give information about projekt number etc. This caption is invisible when the CGM files are published as PDF (screenshot: "pdf from illustrate", compare to screenshot: "cgm in illustrate").The text of the caption can be found and located through the search function in the PDF but it can not be made visible. My workaround is to create the files in Creo Illustrate and save them as CGM - then open them in Isodraw only to save them as CGM again. With this extra step the caption stays visible in the PDF (screenshot: "pdf from isodraw"). It seems that Creo Illustrate marks the Caption as metadata, so that is not to meant to be seen.Callouts always work fine, btw.I tried several softwares to create the PDFs, so the issue has to be somewhere in Creo Illustrate itself. I am using Creo Illustrate 11 and Isodraw 7.4. Any idea how to solve this is very appreciated.Kind regards
Creo 8 I am showing Datum Feature Symbols to my drawing that i created in the model and they are coming in skewed when the referenced feature is not vertical or horizontal in the view and i can not do anything to fix them(see screenshot). the other Datum Feature Symbols come in just fine everywhere else.
Hi I would like to solve a differential equation for a set of variables. I hope I have clarified my problem in the attached file (prime 7), otherwise just let me know. All help is very appreciated! Thank you 🙂
Hi, in CREO ADVANCED PLUS 9 I have to mirror THE 4c28fw08500.asm wrt the green SYM_TRASV plane. If I check the "Reuse selected model" I obtain the wrong position in the picture below: Instead, I want to obtain the correct position that I have when I check the "Create a nex model", but I don't want to create a new code model. How can I fix this problem? Thank you.
Dear all, i would know how to edit a sketch quote relation from the program file of a part. I am creating relations on the fly, so to speak, and I cannot access them at a later time in order to modify them. I began by making the parameter, NTHICK, equal 1.5. For many extrusions I have entered NTHICK as the dimension value and Creo/Pro will ask me if I would like to establish a relation for the dimension. I click yes and a relation is created. I can verify this by double clicking the dimension and then I'm told that it cannot be modify becuase it is controled by the relation d256 = NTHICK; this is good, its what I want. The problem is that I cannot access the relation to change it. Going to Tools>Realtions doesn't work--the realtion is not there. Please help. As this was done in many parts i would know if there is any update on this topic. Older similar posthttps://community.ptc.com/t5/3D-Part-Assembly-Design/cannot-find-created-relations/td-p/4
I have 15 executable MathCad Prime 8 calculations that I’d like to run from a Windows Command batch file. How do I do this?
Community, Is it possible to apply an aerodynamic pressure load to a cylinder in Creo Simulate 10.0. The load needs to be applied to one half of the cylinder and in the same direction, not normal to the surface. Trying to achieve the pressure direction in the attached image that shows "Need this", except arrows pointing down from the top or outside of the curved surface. Thanks in advanced.
HiIs there a function in MathCad Prime (latest version or 9) where you can put a form field in formulas? I'll give an example:Variable = [form field] mm This is because I've noticed that when I make spreadsheets and make different calculation formulas, e.g.: k = x mm * y mmso often someone accidentally removes the units, and it then completely messes up all the calculations. So I'm looking for something similar to Excel, where each value is in its own cell. If there was a form field in the formula, other parts wouldn't be easily editable.
I need a license file update for MathCad 14 M020.
I'm here seeking some clarification on the main differences between using standalone vs subordinate when creating a user-defined feature (UDF). I am currently using Creo 7.0.2.0, and I think I've started to grasp the concept of it by performing some tests. From what I've gathered, standalone and subordinate are the same in the fact that both options allow you to modify the UDF by adding/removing/changing the variable dimensions and family table dimensions as well as changing the reference prompts using the UDF Menu Manager. Correct me if I'm wrong, but I believe that the key difference between the two is the ability to edit the actual feature the UDF is referencing. So, when creating a subordinate UDF, since it is directly related to the parent part, if you go back and change the features of the parent part, then the changes will be included in the UDF as well. For example, if you have a UDF of a revolved hole feature, you can go back to the base model and change the dimension of
Is it possible for Creo 9 to open Creo 11 files (*.prt, *assy, etc.)? I'm part of a global team, and one region's engineering team uses Creo 9 while we use Creo 11. I sent them some files for review and they can't seem to open it. Thank you!
PRO_JAVA_COMMAND variable keeps reverting to a different path.Throwing the following error when launching schematics"Java 11 or above is required for creo schematics to run. No supported version of Java was found." C:\Program Files\Amazon Corretto\jdk11.0.22_8\bin\javaw.exe - Path it reverts toC:\Program Files\Amazon Corretto\jdk11.0.23_9\bin\javaw.exe - Path that works when switched back Its only happening for one user. I have combed around and do not see the old version. Java updates are turned off. Seems to happen about once a week. Temp path is ok.
Hi, I'm trying to configure multiple versions of creo (Creo 8 and Creo 10) in a machine and i need to access vb api of each version based on the user action such as open. as per the instructions i had added pro_comm_msg.exe of Creo 10 to environment variables. my doubt is that how to setup the same for Creo 8? And will the COM classes and interfaces will be segregated for both the version and both can work parallelly?
Need MathCad 14 m020 license file for re-installation after computer crash and Win11 reinstallation.
I have developed a small software package to assist with the use of search_path commands when loading assembly files (without the use of Windchill). The software is completely free. It can be downloaded fromhttps://lihaul.dnsalias.net/owncloud/s/Gg42Ligo3Pqx5c9 Any comments, remarks to improve the software are welcome.
I'm working in CREO 10, but I'm very new to it after many years of Inventor and SolidWorks. I have a cable assembly that I made without using the cable tools. I have a PCB, roughly 10" length of ribbon cable doing a 180 turn (modelled as a U-shaped part), and a 2nd PCB. I have 2 locations where I use this harness, and the placement of PCB 1 relative to PCB 2 is about 1/2" different between the 2 location. I'm trying to make 2 versions of the same assembly (since we'll use the same PN for both locations), where the length of legs of the 'U' shaped cable change. On one instance, both legs should be the same length. On the other instance, the legs should be 1/2" different, but still 10" total path length. Based on googling, it looks like my options might be a Family Table at the Part and Assembly level to select the leg length. But maybe it makes more sense to do a Spine Bend (if I can figure it out) on a straight base part? Or some other approach?
Hello, I currently have a subscription for CREO (8-11) that will end at the end of the year. For financial reasons I will stop it.I have an old Creo3 license that is permanent. Will it work on Windows 11?When I will no longer have maintenance, will I be able to change my host ID?For this Creo3 that is no longer under maintenance.Thank you
Hi All, I am wondering if 3.0 F000 will run under windows 11? Has anyone tried it? Thanks,Scott
Hi,I purchased a MathCAD license for MathCAD prime.I have an account, a customer number, a sales order number and a site number. In addition, when I download a summary of my license, I get a zip file with a customer number and a 13 character number. But when I need to install the license, I need to register a 14 character code + 4 +4 code.Where or how can I get the "product code" or a license file?Regards
Good afternoon,Currently just joined a company that used Creo 7.0, so I am very new to it. For the past 13 years, I have been using Siemens NX 2206 in association with TeamCenter PLM. What would be the best Creo 7.0 self paced training to utilize in order to learn basic sketching, modeling, assemblies and drawings, preferably in that order?I can start a sketch, however I am having issues figuring out how to finish the sketch and add 3D features in order to create an actual part.Hope this makes sense 😂Thanks in advance.,Chris S
I have an iteration in a calculation that requires I select “Calculate” repeatedly until two numbers are relatively equal. Is there a way to automate this iteration so that I only need to select “Calculate” once?
I ran the same program in mathcad14 and mathcad prime10 through a converter, and it was slower in prime. Below is a program that seems to take a long time to calculate. I also got the following information: "The most efficient way to use computer memory when using matrices is to pre-allocate the matrix. To do this, assign 0 to the last element of the matrix. This ensures that there is enough memory for the remaining elements of the matrix. If you dynamically allocate a matrix by filling in the elements of the matrix from the smallest subscript to the largest subscript, it will take longer to calculate and the worksheet will calculate slower." But I don't know how to improve it. Can someone tell me? Translated by the moderation using Google Translate ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- mathcad14とコンバーターを通した同じプログラムをmathcad prime10で動作させたところ、primeのほうが遅いです。計算に時間がかかると思われるプログラムを以下に示します。 また私は次の情報を得ました。 「行列を使用するときにコンピュータの
Hello, I would like to get some help from you in order to be able to calculate the output voltage of an integrator OPAMP considering also its saturation. As it could be seen in my example that I attached, the output voltage will start decreasing from 0V with a negative slope, proportional with time. The negative supply of the OPAMP is -6V, so I would like to know if you could tell me please how can I upgrade my calculation formula with some logic in order to check if the output voltage is still less than -6V, then it should be calculated according to the formula, otherwise it means that the OPAMP is saturated and the output is staying at -6V? Thank you in advance!
Hi everyone,I’m new to Mathcad Prime and have no prior experience with it. I’m currently looking for teaching materials or tutorials related to power supply design using Mathcad Prime.Could anyone share resources, examples, or websites to help me get started? I’d also appreciate suggestions on where to begin learning the basics of Mathcad Prime.Thank you so much for your help!
