I received the license file in an email and I tried to activate the license but it gave me this error message: License Status: Invalid License Type: No License Date Issued: Expiration Date: File: C:\Users\mudha\Documents\Mathcad\sw_license_email_593242.dat 12/21/2024 12:09:43 PM : The license request failed. Requesting MathcadPrime ... C:\Users\mudha\Documents\Mathcad\sw_license_email_593242.dat: (-5) No such feature exists. Could you please help? my email address is mudhafar@mit.edu or mudhafar_ali@hotmail.com  

Hello Mathcadeers,I am familiar and comfortable with legacy Mathcad (Mathcad <=15). But since it is no longer supported, I feel that I need to migrate to Mathcad Prime 10 (learning it). I am wondering if you guys can let me know what you think. Is it worth it to migrate to MP10 (need to spend some time to learn and get familiar with it), or just stick with Mathcad15? My laptop is Windows10. Thanks so much.  Ak

Hi, I have a problem connected to explicit, ALL and programming operators. I have made two variables with programming. And I would like a second one to show (with explicit, ALL) the function it has been using to get this value. Is it possible? Am I doing sth wrong? Also, how do you get rid of that green girth?

Does anyone transfer Step files created using AP242 to a CMM? Having issues with getting the dimensions to transfer.  GD&T will transfer as long as they are not attached to a dimension. We are using Creo 9.0.8.0.  Dimensions have had Annotation Referenced added. Transfer is to a Mitutoyo MiCat software.  We have transferred both Step and native Creo file with the same outcome.  Not sure if it is a Creo or MiCat software issue.  

Hello! I'm working in Creo Parametric 10.0 and I'm having some issues with Shrinkwraps. I'm trying to export large portions of a somewhat complex vehicle to STEP format for sharing with vendors. As our vehicle has become more complex, this has driven the need to share lighter-weight CAD with vendors, as exporting any top-level assemblies as-is (even with significant part reduction via simplified reps) can take hours. And importing the resulting step files takes even longer, and I don't want our vendors to have to deal with the ridiculous load times on their end.  So, I've taken to shrinkwrapping, then saving those shrinkwraps as STEP files to share with vendors. This reduces export file size and import complexity, but one issue that I'm constantly having to workaround is our numerous harness/cable assemblies not making it into the shrinkwraps. Is it possible to adjust the scale factor of the catalog items with respect to the sheet size?  For example, I have created a block shape with A3 as the sheet template, Now If I wish to insert the same block into another sheet of different size, for ex A1, the block appears to be small. If there is any option to add a parameter which scales up / down according the sheet size, that would alleviate the manual task of creating the blocks for different sizes.  Please help me. 

I am using Creo Parametric Release 10.0 and Datecode10.0.6.0I upgrade CREO 10.0 from 3.0But there has one bad thing. Not so critical thing. But it happened at 2D drawingat CREO 3.0 Xmark that from point by 3D mode. it was slim and look good..but in CREO 10.0 it is thick and it blocks my sight.

Hi,when i am launching Creo Illustrate 8.1 the startup menu appears as normal. But when i click start nothing happens (Window gets closed). However, if i use an server with the license, it works fine.I also installed it on my backup pc and there it works fine with the file. So what i am doing wrong on my laptop? I have installed it for other people with exactly the same steps and it works just fine, but not on my device. I searched for a solution and found that you can generate a log file (also installed debug symbols accordingly to this post https://support.ptc.com/help/creo/illustrate/r9.1/en/index.html#page/creo_illustrate/install_config_guide/g_ttips.html#   (Debug Symbos & using variables in troubleshooting))But i dont get smart out of it. Tried Illustarte 9.0 also but same problem. Merry Christmas and happy new year to you all,Steve

While using Creo with Windchill I am trying to run a trail file automatically (just to open the active workspace) after starting up Creo using the following syntax (not both lines work separately): start "" "c:\my location1\parametric.exe" "c:\my location2\trail.txt" start "" "c:\my location1\parametric.exe" -i:rpc_input "c:\my location2\trail.txt" Even though both work, both have a strange side effect where I lose my registered servers and I have to re-register them.  What is even more strange is that it not only doesn't modify the .srv_mgr_db3.fldx file, I cannot find a file on my computer (or the network location where my batch file and other config files are stored) that stores the new server info.  When I restart Creo my trail file runs, and my workspace refreshes correctly, but it uses my new server registrations and not my old.  If I go back to using: start "" "c:\my location1\parametric.exe" It starts using my original server registrations.  When I use a

I am using Mathcad Prime Release 10.0 and Datecode10.0.0.0I am working on a design sheet and as part of the sheet I am including a design methodology write-up. I am using a numbered list and the write-up is too large to fit on one page. I split the write-up over 2 pages but the numbered list restarted at 1. on the second page of the list. Is it possible to set a number value for the numbered list on the second page that continues the list from the first page?Here are the errors that I facedNone

Hello everyone!In my company we have recently introduced Windchill and Creo 8 for our little mechanical office. We make machines based on Robotunits Modular Automation System, that means we use aluminum extruded profiles.Whats the best manner to manage this profiles? The minimum lenghth is 50mm and the max is 6m.We can use all measure between this min and max.I thought we can manage this with a family table where I let change only the length of the profile. But this means a table with 6000rows (one each mm).I don't thik it's the best practice.So I see on PTC support articles that it is raccomended (with the utilize of Windchill) a max numer of istances of 50.It's not so simple manage 6000 different length of profiles with 6000/50=120 family table..What can I do?

When creating a pattern in CREO 8, if the 2nd direction members were set to 1, the radial distance box would be greyed out and would not give any extra dimensions. In CREO 10, this box is always active and always gives you an extra dimension. Is there a way to prevent this new extra dimension?

Made this curve through points, it supposed to be a conveyor belt When i tried to make a simple sweep, drew a rectangle at the starting point, it swept it along the trajectory by rotating the rectangle, based on the curve's direction. So the rectanlge didn't remain normal , and I couldn't figure out which setting to use   So the question, how can I make this sweep, so the rectangles sides stay normal to something, and doesnt rotate?   Or is there an alternative way to do this? Match the Maximize Minimize Close buttons to Windows 10/11 style 

Windows 11 will be released as early as next month.  Has anyone done some testing of the existing versions of Mathcad (i.e. MC15, Prime 3-7) to identify issues under Win 11.  Personally, I have a perpetual academic license for MC Prime 3.1, and as a retiree, I am loathe buy a subscription version.     Furthermore, I have had to reinstall MC Prime 3.1 several times and it has never been an easy task.  Unless I am reasonably certain that an upgrade to Win 11 will not be an issue for Mathcad Prime 3.1, I will simply stay with Win10.   thoughts?Mike

Hi there!I'm trying to solve, in general, one equation that is important to me.The idea is to find through my Mathcad Prime 9.0.0 the extremum value of a parameter in symbolic representation. Here, I faced some "wall barrier" for solving due to the famous discouraging phrase as "The symbolic result returned is too large to display"... What was previously done:1.
