Up through Mathcad 15 it was possible to make a nice-looking parallel operator using the infix notation. It would be very helpful to make it work in Prime.
I am using Creo Parametric Release 3.0 and DatecodeF000 We need creo 3.0 Setup , because our machine support creo 3 only, kindly give setup file for creo3.0
Hot off the release of PTC Mathcad Prime 12, PTC Mathcad product management director Andrew McGough will log on to PTC Community on May 5 from 10 to 11 AM (Eastern Time) to answer your questions! Post your questions about Mathcad Prime 12 or Mathcad more generally (including about the future of the product) in this special Ask Me Anything About Mathcad board between now and the end of the AMA session. Use the Create topic button in the top right corner to post your question(s). Each question should be its own topic (one question per topic)—Andy will post his responses as replies. Please refrain from asking questions about how to do specific things in Mathcad—that’s what the rest of the Mathcad section of the Community is for!
Hello,I am trying to install PTC Mathcad Prime 12 trial, but the application does not start. After installation, nothing happens when I launch it. In Event Viewer I get the following error:System.Windows.Markup.XamlParseException:Cannot locate resource "worksheetresources.xaml"I have already tried:reinstalling multiple times (clean uninstall + removing all PTC folders) installing .NET Desktop Runtime 8 installing WebView2 disabling antivirus using a different network (hotspot)The installer I used is "pim_installmgr_mathcad".It looks like the installer does not download all required files.Could someone provide a full offline installer or suggest a fix?Thank you.
Hello, I have been a paid user continuously since Version 1 back in the 80’s. In some important ways, Prime is still clunkier than earlier versions. I find I have to leave the keyboard, grab the mouse do some clicking on the document and then resume typing to add every new region.I generally like to create my documents in two columns: equations in one, and text describing them right beside, but nicely aligned. In the old days you could type an equation, press a key (possibly it was Tab) and it would skip right and you could start typing text. Another key (return??) would take you to beginning of a new line and you could continue. These days Tab only moves you to the next existing equation or document top, except it doesn’t even do that if you are in a text region. How can you exit a text region and get over to the beginning of the next row without grabbing the mouse. That is a lot of down and left arrows to press? What I would like isan easy keystroke to leave an region and go to th
It is said that in order to run PTC Mathcad Prime, you must have the latest Microsoft .NET Desktop Runtime 8.0.x package for Windows x64 installed on your computer. At the same time .NET 8 end of life (EOL) is November 10, 2026 – after this date, Microsoft issues no further security patches or bug fixes. EOL means real risk: unpatched vulnerabilities, compliance failures... Am I missing something? It seems rather serious. It looks as if I have to skip the latest version. Does Mathcad Prime v12 work with .NET 10?
We have been asking from Prime 9 for the possibility to have variables in Header/Footer to be able to include information like project number, name, document number, revision index etc. which are read from the excel file where all the input values are located.I mean, at the beginning of the worksheet, we have a collapsible area where we read an excel file containing the input values to be processed, including project name, number etc. but that general information is to be used in the header/footer of the workseet.Has this possibility been included in Prime 12? Or do need to continue waiting for it?P.S.: thanks for the new option header/footer different on page 1! That was also needed.
Is it possible to edit the Functions tab on the Ribbon to add additional functions, such as Piecewise Continuous?
Since the beginning of Mathcad Prime, PTC has snubbed loyal users by providing a subprime legacy file converter. It can take hours of work to tweak a converted file to get it to match the original, and you need to have a working installation of Mathcad 15 to ensure that the converted file works as intended. When are we going to get the proper file converter that we deserve?

Hi everyone,I am looking for an API for "copy geometry" command and "intersect" command in toolkit. If its there can you help me with that.
I know there are multiple ways to define routing in PTC Creo Cabling, and I would like to clarify the correct approach.I currently have a cable routed from one connector (P1) to another connector (P2). This cable carries VCC power, so I need to branch off this line at some point and route it to an additional connector. What is the correct method to create this kind of branch, especially considering that I will later create a flatten harness for documentation? Here is what I have tried so far:I used a physical splice component to create the split. However, when I create the flatten harness, the splice appears disconnected or “floating.” I also tried adding a location on the cable and routing a new cable from that location to another connector. In this case, Creo reports the cable as incomplete. What is the recommended best practice for:Creating a branch from an existing cable Ensuring proper connectivity Getting a correct and clean flatten harness outputAny guidance or recommended workflow

Hallo,When I found a product code for license identification?
Hi @OliverGräbner I would like to create a fastener library compatible with the IFX module.First, I am trying to link an existing family table with the keyword FAMTABLE.To do this, I have created a .dat file, as shown belowSCREWTYPE 1UNIT MMSURFACE 49AXIS 82CBSCR DIN974-1 R1INFO <Screw_test>!Enter the name of the Family Table Part!---------------------------------------FAMPRT VIS_CHC_INOX_JYSYMBOL STRING DN LG B S DK K DG PINSTANCE STRING DN LG B S DK K DG P#FAMTAB M<DN> d4 d6 d15 d17 d5 d7 d16 @pas My family table contains several instances using an item code for each instance. When I launch IFX, the thread box remains empty and I cannot choose a screw size.I also get the following error message:No valid data foundDN Vis_chc_inox_jy.datI think I have a problem with the STRING box in my .dat file.I tried with a family table with two instances and simpler file names, but nothing changed.I looked at all the posts, but none of them answered my question.Could you
I purchased and installed Mathcad Prime 12. However, I now understand that, because I am using a Dutch Windows 11 OS, Mathcad does not start. First of all, I find it unbelievable that PTC does not mention this very clearly beforehand, but that you are only confronted with this after purchasing. What really makes matters worse is that, although you start from and with the English website, you are redirected during the installation process to a Korean website, which is unreadable. So now I am stuck with a Mathcad version that I paid for and for which the 1-year period has already started, but which I cannot use. I would like this situation to be resolved ASAP.
Hi Team,Looking for suggestions. We have limited Creo Parametric licenses (PROE_DesignAdvP T3 and PROE_DesignAdv T2). Is it possible to control license selection via the Creo launch .bat file so it checks FlexNet availability and automatically switches to the next available license if the preferred one is fully consumed?I’ve tried using lmutil lmstat in the batch file to check license usage. it checks the license count then close the launcher bat. i tried different codes but it is still bypassing the license count check. Please advise if this approach is supported or if there’s a recommended method.I included this block in my bat file.!--scriptorstartfragment-->SET LMUTIL="C:\ptc\Creo 10.0.8.0\Common Files\x86e_win64\obj\lmutil.exe"SET LICENSE_SERVER=7788@license01.au.lmco.com "%LMUTIL%" lmstat -f PROE_DesignAdv -c %LICENSE_SERVER% > "%TEMP%\lmstat_pro.txt" 2>&1 FINDSTR /I /C:"Licensed number of users already reached" "%TEMP%\lmstat_pro.txt" >nul ^&& ( ECHO -
Many of my Mathcad worksheets are large (50+ pages). As the worksheets get larger, the screen refresh rate becomes so slow when using the drag slider bar that scrolling through the worksheet becomes very difficult. This has always been key source of frustration when using Mathcad for large models. I had been working on a large worksheet for a bit after upgrading to Mathcad 12 when I realized that the scrolling was as responsive as any Microsoft Word document – very smooth with no noticeable lag up to any reasonable scroll rate! That was not one of the explicitly stated new features in Mathcad 12 – so I didn’t notice it immediately (sometimes you don’t notice the things that just work the way you’d expect them to work). I really appreciate some of the other enhancements in the Prime 12 release like Find/Replace with subscripted variables (another large worksheet issue) and the enhancements for native plots, but the scrolling improvement ranks near the top!
By default, the UN Hole Sizes in Creo 10 go up to 1½ - 6. We deal with larger holes quite often. How can this be changed so that UN Hole Size options are available up to 2 ½?Thank you!
Hi everyone,I am facing a problem to override the dimension value, I have created an dimension using ProDrawingDimensionCreate().And now I want to edit that dimension value through toolkit itself, manually we do it with using an option in drawing window called “override value of dimension”.But I am unable to do it with toolkit using API.Can anyone please help me by providing the solution.
Software: Creo Elements/Direct Modeling 19.0Goal: I am looking for a way to automatically rename all components (parts and assemblies) within a specific top-level assembly using a sequential naming convention (e.g., PART-001, PART-002, PART-003...).Details: Doing this manually in the Structure Browser is extremely time-consuming for large assemblies. I would like to find a solution (either a built-in command or a LISP script) that allows me to: Select a Parent Assembly. Define a Prefix (e.g., "MYSYSTEM-"). Automatically apply a three-digit increment (001, 002...) to all children. Questions: Is there a hidden command in the standard UI that supports "Prefix + Increment" renaming? If not, does anyone have a LISP macro or utility that can automate this task? Are there any "Best Practices" to avoid naming conflicts when doing this in a large session? Any help, sample code, or advice would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!
Please, does anybody have an idea how to output the “strain energy per unit area” to report file for all of calculated prestressed modal modes? Or another way how to see the one area integrated number of N/mm separately for all of modal modes?Thx for support
Weld symbol for ISO standard in Creo 12.4 is supporting ISO2553:1984, acc to PTC Help and the PTC articles CS465068 & CS303110.This creates huge problems for companies that must be certified against ISO 3834-2. Which is applicable for example for companies with in the nuclear power industry. This companies are now forced to either create new custom symbols, (Which is quite complicated) or to make “fake” the symbols on the drawing adding lines and text manually.I suggest that the weld ISO weld symbols are updated acc. to latest ISO 2553 standard, that would be the one from 2019, Edition 5.
With version 20.8 I cannot access anymore the remote license Server status using http://<Remote License Server>:17171. Logged to the server http://localhost:17171 works as expected.Il there any workaround or some administration command to use?
i cannot run the program. I am stuck in an obtain license loop. I am sure there is a way..
