Hello, I am trying to read a ptb file into pattern table using toolkit. I only find one way to do so is to read the ptb file and then build the element tree and assign the values into the element tree.  Is there any other way it can be done or any sample code to refer how to build element tree of pattern table. Thank You

Olympic Rings. Has anybody tried to model the olympic rings, i.e. 5 proper interlocking toroids as shown in the attached file, and not the faked versions you can see from the games in Paris. I find it quite a challenging item and wonder if it is solved already.  

I’m currently working on a Mathcad worksheet that wasn’t originally designed by me. I need to convert this file to Mathcad Prime, but I’ve encountered some issues after the conversion. These problems are affecting the functionality  of the worksheet, and I’m not entirely sure how to resolve them. Has anyone else faced similar challenges? If you have any tips, advice, or solutions, I’d greatly appreciate your help.

Hello, I would like to insert a view into a drawing, and that works so far. The view should have the same orientation as in the 3D model, e.g. front, top, bottom, etc. How can I pass the predefined 3D view name when creating the view, or assign it later? Does anyone have any ideas? Been a few release since I used Creo last.   I don't remember having to hold control when picking entities for dimensions. You could, but it wasn't mandatory.   Am I mistaken?

I am trying to create an app using Object Toolkit C++ and run it using spawn mode (exe). I have tried with DLL and it works, but when I compile to exe and change the creotk.dat file to startup spawn it does not work anymore. What i mean is is it possible to use map key or tool kit or create a batch file so that whenever i open a sheet metal part and run a command it gives me perimeter of the part. which is basically cut length which will be used to calculate tonnage. Thanks!

How to fix when surface despaired from 3D Creo 9.0 Model after performing Solidify Remove Material? The surface is not hidden in the layers. I clenched that. CAn somebody hgel with that issue?    

Hello everyone,  I am very new to this software and am going through as much online training as I can. I had a trail version a few weeks ago and I was able to add simple equations to the dimensions as I added them to the drawing for example: 3 1/2 * 2 which should set the part to 7”  Since I’ve installed the new software it says this. hope you can help I can’t find an answer anywhere,  I want the dimensions to show as 7” or 3 1/2 is this possible?

Folks 1st question: Can i bend this seam into a flange using the spinal bend or similar feature? I tried using the sheetmetal flange, but it will only bend it by sections, maybe because is not a continuous feature but modeled in several flanges.  I want to bend the whole seam 1/2" long, this way:  2nd question: Can I bend a symmetrical flange created in sheetmetal into a non-symmetrical flange? Side view of the non-symmetrical flange (for illustration purposes)The front view looks like thisfront view  thanks

I'm looking for an example of how to setup a flow analysis of a server rack.  The server rack has external air flow inside the rack then directed to specific servers which includes fans and the directed to an external exhaust air outlet.  I have not been able to find an example of a flow analysis model resembling this.  Is there anyone that has an example they could share or point me too. Thanks

Is anyone kind of enough to help me model and share the file of a simple water spray bar, (straight pipe with holes) and apply a volumetric flux on the inlet and maybe 2 outlets atm pressure? I want to try and model and assess the geometry on the spray trajectories? is that possible? CREO 10 premium edition

Hello all,  would love some help on this if possible. I am very new to Creo, done about 5/6 hours elearning but still stuck, i have been given a set of files which i want to dissect and get back to a possition where i can send parts off to be laser cut. as you can see from the attached file / photo the file is made up completely. I would like to get back to the sides, bottom etc. (if that makes sense). I have access to the .prt files and the .pkg files. from the owner who designed this in creo a number of years ago. Thank you in advance, i have tried a number of things but i am a bit out my depth here 🙂  

Hello ,I'd like to use MATHCADPRIME, is there a CREO license that comes with this MATHCADPRIME license, or do I need to buy this license?

I am using Creo Schematics Release 7.0 and Datecode7.0.0.0I have a file which appears to be corrupted it should have 8 design sheets but it will only open 7 of the 8 sheets. The file produces the C++ assert failure which crashes Creo Schematics. We will recreate the design. But how do we prevent this as this message C++ assert failure, appears more frequently with Creo Schematics 7.0 (was never in Schematics 4.0). And the design has internal error 002 when you open it. But cannot do design check to repair because it gives C++ assert failure and crashes. How to resolve or work around this issue?Here are the errors that I facedInternal Error 002, C++ assert failure

Hi,I have this equation: I want to find time t (a symbolic expression for t) at which the above function is equal with 1. So:   What I am missing?  

 As shown in image I want to draw a part. Part includes external skeleton model (called out by merge/Inheritance feature).I want to minimize the area shown with yellow color.It should be as per Desh line (green color). I have tried with partial view, but it shows the error after increasing the side of component beyond the defined boundary. Is there any settings which change the area based on hidden item?Here skeleton model is called out by merge because I want to call the dimension in drawings, by import geometry, dimensions did not appear. 

Hi,   ProSelect dialog goes back , can not be top. User can not check ProSelect processing is stopped. (if ProSelect dialog was hidden status.)   so we try to make ProSelect dialog position in top. 1. using timer callback function. 2. using ProSelectionPostSelact Funtion.   method 1 is worried about performance about timer func and creo work. method 2 is not work if select item is not matching filter.   if you guys have good idea, please help us. thank you.

Hi,   I am using Mathcad15 and new to it.   i need to feed typically 4 basic values into mathcad and get result back. i have more than 160 sheets to work.   Am trying to automate the values logged in excel to feed in Mathcad as different files saving as PDF well.   Can anyone suggest or confirm this one is workable.   I tried few times but end up with error loading page. Provided the code below.
