Lets say I have an integer If even number then round down to an odd number. If odd then keep the number. eg. x = 888 I want to round this down to an odd number. 887 Thank you.
Hello: I have several sets of constraints for a part, when I active ptc_constraint_set parameter , sets are displayed as per attached image , but sets drop down shows only one set at a time. Is there a way such that all sets available can be displayed under drop down for ease of selection. Thanks
When reordering Model Tree, It is too easy to accidentally move part to subassembly (Can take long time to undo). Creo should ask confirmation when user clicks Expand All, because it takes so long with large assemblies.Actually I have never needed to use expand all, but i sometimes accidentally click it when i try to click Collapse All. Btw. why Measure -tool is so slow unless you use selection filter?
Hi, I'm using PTC Mathcad 9.0 version for my documentation. I have included few onedrive & Google Drive links into the doc and saved the doc in PDF format. When try opening the PDF on chrome/adobe reader, i found that the google drive links were opening completely fine whereas Onedrive links were not opening. I was getting errors like "Link not found". The same Onedrive link opens without any issue when opened in Mathcad tool also, when copy pasted it separately on chrome. I can see the issue is only when try opening from PDF. So, anyone else experienced this issue before? Is there any solution to work around? Thanks.
Havin trouble understanding why this function, which worked in Prime 9, no longer works in Prime 10? Unfortunately, it requires an add-in that I doubt many have (Refprop wrapper for Mathcad).Non-working function (Prime 10)It really makes no sense that Refprop would have anything to do with the underlying problem based on the fix (to get the function that worked in Prime 9 to work in Prime 10), which is this:Equivalent Working Program (Prime 10)Obviously, this required a change to a program which literally served to assign a -1 value to alpha prior to the function on line 2. However, nothing of the original equation required modification. Seems odd to me but hoping that someone would have thoughts on what could have changed between 9 and 10 to require this mod. Thanks,Bob Wilson
Hello Everyone. From : But : To : So now the question is : " How to simplify A ? "Thanks in advance for your time and help.Best Regards.Loi
Hi all, My R&D department have a request for which I cannot find a solution .We are in CREO 7.0.2.0 and we want to show it in MBD. We can attach the datum to the surface, but not aligned it to the dimension (as per the following pic)How can we do it?The 10° dim is a 3D dimension from the sketch. ThanksBest Regards
When using symbolic evaluation in Prime 9, from time to time one of two different errors pop up sporadically. Either a window indicating that AXIOMsys.exe isn't working anymore, or a window indicating that "bad_module_info" is not working anymore. Nonetheless symbolic evaluations in Prime still work OK, its just annoying and irritating to have to click away those windows from time to time. Often the same error also pops up immediately after closing Prime. I am aware that its not a Prime error but stems from Windows - nonetheless is only occurs when using Prime 9. Anybody has experienced something similar or has an idea what the cause may be?
Some of us are on 7.0 and some on 8.0, but no one can seem to get the MIDNIGHT theme to load as default on start up. We can get the DARK or LIGHT or DEFAULT themes to load, and we can do custom as well, we just cannot get the MIDNIGHT to load. We have even tried loading the MIDNIGHT theme, then changing a graphics color in order for the menus to all switch to CUSTOM, and then saving that creo_parametric_customization.ui file in our start in location. But nope... shows it is a Custom theme but menu colors are all the DEFAULT theme. Thanks in advance.
Hello,The following PTC article details how to obtain references from Annotation elements,https://www.ptc.com/en/support/article/CS289474However this only is viable for annotation references of the type: PRO_ANNOT_REF_SINGLE: /*---------------------------------------------------------------------*\ get the references for the AE \*---------------------------------------------------------------------*/ status = ProAnnotationelemReferencesCollect(&elem, PRO_ANNOTATION_REF_ALL, PRO_ANNOT_REF_FROM_ALL, &ann_ref); int num_refs; status = ProArraySizeGet(ann_ref,&num_refs); for (int i = 0;i < num_refs;i++)//all references of selected item { if (ann_ref[i].type != PRO_ANNOT_REF_SINGLE) continue; //proceed this loop only if the single reference is NOT a PRO_ANNOT_REF_CRV_COLLECTION or PRO_ANNOT_REF_SRF_COLLECTIONHow could the surface ID's be obtained for type PRO_ANNOT_REF_SRF_COLLECTION (or even PRO_ANNOT_REF_CRV_COLLECTION )?Thank you.
Is it possible to add a picture (JPEG) in Creo schematics?
I am creating a hole table through datum points like feature name "POINT" & its "X,Y,Z" measurement through cs_o but when datum points go beyond 9 for e.g. "PNT9" then it sort by again first digit means it will go like 1 then 10,11,2,3,4 likewise (refer snap for more details).I have tried to increase decimal point from 1 but it won't get sort out.Need help to how to sort this double digit figures in ascending order & Is there any way to make this hole table parametric if point location is updating it will directly show on table without adding it again. Hoping for the solution from PTC! 🤞Application :- Creo 10 Paramertic
Is it possible to convert mcdx (prime files) to xmcd (mathcad 15)? If yes, how to do it?
Hi, We need to find the stress when the part is twisted at an angle. It's shown in the capture-1 below that a motor powers the pocket at one end, while the other end has a stopper. load (capture 2) & constrains (capture 3), kindly advise me on how to calculate the stress values at various angles? Plastic is the material that is used & currently I am using Creo 7 Thanks
I'm doing a presentation of mathcad to me company and I'm thinking of including the pros and cons of it comparing to other calculating programs. Any ideas ?
I have tried installing Mathcad and have agreed to user agreements.Upon getting to "Application Selection" step in install process, my installation path is C:->Program Files->PTC but there are no applications to "Choose from the list below".I cannot push next to complete the installation process.
Please no snark. I struggle finding useful info on creo forums. I have done my due diligence. We have a C size drawing that the left and bottom margins are off the page. I have struggled with how to even ask this question. I am aware there are differences between format and template, but I don't know where to start. I just want to "rightsize" our C drawing template to export with correct margins, not offset as they are now.
Hello to allWindchill is working on it using Creo illustrate. Previously, I was using Creo View Adapter to convert illustrater data without any problems. However, I found that it is an illustrater adapter. The document says that it converts illustrater data with this, but I don't know a separate difference. As a result, what is the difference between the Creo View adapter and the Illustrater adapter? I was wondering why the Illustrater adapter has a separate installation file.
Hi All, why mathcad prime dont allow to input the results of a fuction with a range of input into the excel component. What is the way to go around this?
Hi,I'm work in Creo parametric users Support team user in an industrial Company and i was a question about the scale on 3D model. Few users ask question to see in an 3D model windows a dynamic scale reference show in a corner like to possible in others CAO Software. Thanks for your help
Hello,I need to lend a CREO license for 30 days, do you have a procedure on how to do that?
Hello I have a problem with calculating model in Creo Simulate. The only difference of those models is mesh size. Solution on the left has no AutoGEM controm featuresSolution on the right has applied Maximum size AutoGEM control globally 25mm and locally on contact regions 7mm.Why it doesn't converge when AutoGEM has been applied applied?
I am sorting a result matrix with respect to 5th column. If A is more than Asreq, i want to get only positive values of 5th column in a sorted way as an output. If A is less than Asreq, the output matrix should contain only negative values in 5th column and they should be sorted in reverse order. Is this possible in Mathcad?
I am unable to get the results when used ° instead of deg could someone let me know what I am doing wrong?
