CAD

I have a drawing that on it's second page uses ordinate dimensions. Out of these, the "X" value .000 dimension lost the reference and is now colored purple. If I erase this baseline dimension, them all other dimensions associated from this base point go along with it. I want to avoid this, is there a way to redefine the dimension so that it is no longer purple or perhaps a way to disassociate the children dimensions form it?

i have a big assembly with a lot of fasterners. many fasteners are the same. those share 1 bom balloon number.some fasteners are only used in specific configurations of the model. in this 1 view i have 1 (nut 1 = N1) lock nut that is always used . and 1 (nut 2 = N2) that is only used in configuration Xwhen in configuration X i need this view to have the balloon on N2. the balloon with the same number for N1 is already in a different view when i have it all set up correctly in configuration X and save it it is fine when i open itit is when i go to configuration Y that i see that the leader of the ballon from N2 has jumped to N1, the balloon itself is still on its spot so i basicly have a line running tough my view.when i configure it back to configuration X the leader does not return to N2.this is very annoying. i need the balloon AND LEADER to stay with N2, and when N2 is not used i just need it to dissapear. just like the balloons do for normal parts (often only on

I am trying to recreate a velvet endmill, and frankly, I have no clue where to start with modeling this.  Usually, I use a helical sweep to model normal endmills, but this has me stumped.

I have 6 feature/groups in creo part model. please find the attachment.I need to resume only one group/feature and suppress all others according to my input parameter using Pro/Program.-----------------------------------------------------Example:Let my input parameter is a string: M12Then Resume Group_M12 and suppress Group_M6, Group_M8, M10, Group_M14 and Group_M16.-----------------------------------------------------I need to execute this by using the Pro/Program.Could someone support by  writing a program for this case?    

Is there a setting I can change to make mathcad auto complete my units and previously defined variable names like Smath? I found that to be a really useful feature and I would be very dissapointed in this program if it isn't capable of a feature like that.

Hello!I would like to have a kinematic for telescopically boom of crane.The boom has 2 moving sections. There is one cylinder on the section nr.1 (base to section nr.1). If this section moves the section nr. 2 has to move with the same way. I want to open the file with Mathcad Prime 5.0, but it doesn't work and failed. And I found the web page to solved my problem. Before we were able to start up Creo and it would ask us select which floating license to use.PROE_DesignEss or PROE_DesignAdv.Now it will default to whatever the default parametric.psf license is first. I can switch it back and forth manually but would like to get back that option for selection we have previously so our users can select it instead of needing to manually change the file.       

Hi all, My company is still stuck on Creo 3 (yes, I know that's ancient - supposedly our IT department is working on upgrading us to 8 - not sure what's taking so long). Anyway, a common problem we have to deal with is the dreaded purple lines that pop up in drawing files whenever an assembly has a part derived from a STEP file that isn't perfect.  My question is: has PTC ever fixed this issue in newer releases of Creo?

Hello, I use Creo version 8, If I have more sessions open and one of them is busy, all other sessions are blocked until the task is processed. Is it possible to have a solution where it would be possible to continue working while the task is being processed? Thanks

Hii! I'm having an issue with the following equation. The resulting value should be 3. But Mathcad shows it as 2.731.It leads to the least resultant value in the further following equations.Can anyone suggest to me the possibilities of getting the correct result?

Hi, I'm facing an issue while converting the unit in Mathcad. Here I attached the issue. This was the resulting value of the corresponding equation. But I need the value in N/mm^2.If I change the unit, it does not result properly. The resultant value should be in N/mm^2. Can anyone suggest the better way to solve this issue?
