I am unable to acquire a new license for Mathcad express after changing the laptop. With no access to license management, how do I get an updated license with the new Host ID?

Does anyone know how to speed up MCP for processing large data sets? I am working with a 50832x14 size data set that is output in Excel from another program. I would prefer to filter, sort, and manipulate the data in MCP vs Excel. However, trying to execute a simple filter step in MCP on a data set this large has proven impossible. I can't get the function to complete (endless spinning wheel). Whereas I can complete this one step in Excel in about 1sec. Does anyone know how to speed this up? Or any other tricks for processing large data sets in MCP? I would really, really prefer to avoid Excel but at this point, I'll have to use it.Thanks!     

I have got a Macbook Air, I downloaded "Paralells" a windows emulation.Then I downloaded Creo 5.0 on windows and it crashes as I open it.Mathcad works fine.(I got a students license)When I open it, the blue loading circle spins for like 2 seconds, then it crashes pls help me to solve the problem

Hello everyone, I am using an .xml to get information from Schematic into Parametric and after that to project it via HMX into drawing. I am struggling to get the information regarding signals and terminators. I am able to import terminator table in CSV format into schematics, but it won't show in parametric neither in drawing. Regarding signals I'm not even able to import CSV table - there is info that design in not matching information....I tried to use different global parameters to match it, but nothing works..... Is there a way how to import signal and terminator data in schematics so it will load in parametric and in drawing? What are the important global parameters which should I follow when creating CSV files so it will load without issues?  I'm just learning with this program, so some screenshot with possible solution will be really really helpful. Schematics 7.0.0.0Parametric 7.0HMX advanced 

The "Seed & Boundary" (was Surf & Bound) is great functionality.  Where did it go for selecting surfaces to apply appearance? I use "Seed & Boundary" to select surface for model actions like copy surf.  I know how to use "Shift" for that.  The same technique won't work for selecting surfaces in appearances.  Hoping someone can tell me how.  Did they take it out?  Or is it just buried in the mountain of inconsistencies?  Now it seems like you have to go in and carefully select all the (maybe 100's) of little surfaces manually one by one.  Please tell me what I'm missing.  Thank you.

Hello, We are working on MBD implementation in our organization. We have created start templates to work with MBD strategy which has predefined combination states present in it.There are some default combination states which we want to lock those so that no one can delete the combination state and no one can edit the name of the combination state. Do we have any config setting or any option within Creo functionality so that we can lock those comb states? Please share any article if there is available  

Hi Is there any easy way to create the NPT external Thread something similar to Internal thread just by selecting the hole location?  currently we are creating the cut for the thread major dia and adding cosmetics for the pitch and minor dia. manually - we are making repetitive mistakes due to manual process. i'm using Creo 7.0.9.0 

Hello   I am preparing a template, in which i want to define a parameter for "Date" i.e 'Created Date" and "Modified Date" The "Created date" will be unchanged even after n number of updates, so i used a parameter "&todays_date". But problem comes for the "Modified Date", which needs to be updated for every revision of drawing updated, So for that i used "PTC_WM_MODIFIED_ON" (a parameter already available by default in <Tools>-- <Parameters> With this parameter i get Date and Time together, but i want date only.   Please see the attachment for clear understanding of my question.   Thank You Regards Sumeet

I have an old file that colleagues developed and they created variables like this: Rop%.  I'm trying to re-create and improve some plots, which use this variable, among other similar definitions.  When I retype the variable name, Mathcad tells me the variable is invalid; undefined.  For the life of me, I can't figure out why.  But it looks like the percent signs (%) have different fonts.  So it looks like there's something different about them, but I can't replicate it.  Please see attached.

Does anyone know how to reduce the file size of a MCP sheet or other ways to speed up processing? I am working on a big calculation package that reads in Excel data (~30000x15) and manipulates it various times (loads of filtering, sorting, assigning submatrices, etc.) that is going on 20-30 pages. Now the file size is almost 18mb and the sheet is moving very slow and takes a while to save. TOL and CTOL are set to defaults, and I am trying the multithreading option. Only working on one sheet at a time. Are there any methods to speed things up? Maybe purge past data once a step has been made? I don't have much experience with the clear() function, but could this be of use here? Open for suggestions. Thanks!MCP 8.0, Windows 10 Pro.  

I have a list of ~500 part numbers in Microsoft Excel, which I need to document the volume of. Is there a way I can have Creo Parametric use the part number list in Excel to open the parts from Windchill, measure the volume and write the volume in the Excel file?   

My Ctrl+Z on creo7.0 is not working, it stays grayed out and does not allow me to undo any steps.          

I created an offset section view that basically cutoff the top and front of my model to show the inside but when I go to make the drawings either the top or front is showing. It only cuts off one either font or top and shows the other but in the model it is working perfectly and there are no errors. Is there a step I am missing when I create a view?  

I am an engineer. The specialized field is a machine and electric design. I suggested a patent about the hand device of the robot recently. I want to ask an evaluation of this suggestion. The attached files are the summary of the hand device and an animation of one finger.  

The EZ tolerance stack up table displays a message "calculated results are ignoring potentially significant 3D effects" and the RSS value is wrong when the hole and pin with clearance features involves in the 3D model for stack analysis.

I am trying to extrude a .1250 radius circle and it keeps turning into a hexagon. How can I fix this ?  

I installed Creo Parametric as a trial. I have since received a training license, and have installed the license manager and applied the license. I reconfigured Creo to use 7788@caeepc003, which is the hostname of the machine where the license is installed. Hello.I received an activation code from my university to install MathCad Prime 6.0.I can't find where to download it.I read that it is no longer available and the licences are transferred to Prime 7.0, but maybe i understood wrong.Please help me.thank you.
