In CREO cabling I have 8 cables going to one location in a flat grouping. Is there any way to re-organize the order of each wire in a flat grouping at a location? For example, in the images below I would like the red and black wire to stay in the same order as they come on the right. The final result I'm looking for is pink on top, then green, red, blue, black, white, light blue, white. This would be accomplished by moving red down 2 spots and black down 4 spots in the flat group. Then it wouldn't look like all the wires are crossing over each other. Using CREO 8.0.0.0 on Windows 11.
MC15 allows a label to be added to an area, so when it's collapsed the label can be seen. In Prime 9.0 I can create areas but can't figure out how to add the labels. In MC15, when I collapsed all the areas, the labels showed the analysis/calculation flow which is real nice. Is this functionality lost in prime?
Hi, I’m looking for help with a formatting issue in the footer of the attached document. As part of our design submission, we are including various calculations in the appendices and would like them to appear in an orderly manner. For referencing purposes, we’ve attempted to include the appendix number alongside the page number in the footer of each calculation (see attached example).Could you advise on how to align the formatting so that there is no visible misalignment between the appendix number and the page number? I am using Mathcad Prime 10.0.0.0 Kind regards,Iain
I am using Creo Parametric Release 7.0 and Datecode7.0.9.0From one day to the next, the path for "pro_format_dir" and "start_model_dir" which are properly configured do not seem to work anymore. When starting a new part or assembly, it does not provide our start model.Same thing for the drawing, does not list our format. Here are the errors that I facedNo error, it simply does not bring our custom start_model and format
Is there something in Options I am missing or I have to create a separate feature to open it? See Attach. ...Thanks in advance. ---------------------------------------------------------------------Always finding hidden gems in Creo!
I am using Creo Parametric Release 12.4 and Datecode12.4.1.0Hello, I use Creo Parametric and the composite module.I am exporting to .nas and would like to know how to control the ID for:- PCOMPG properties- Ply propertiesThank you
I am using Creo Parametric Release 12.4 and Datecode12.4.1.0Hello, I use Creo Parametric and the composite module. We want to export the laminate defined in Creo Composite to .nas, and we can have two types of export: (.nas + .iges) or .h5. Neither of these two solutions allows us to output a .nas in IGS with the correct properties directly integrated. Is there a way to link the .nas properties with a step or IGS? Furthermore, the exported mesh is very poor; are there parameters that exist to improve it? Thank you in advance.
While trying to export .asm in to IGES getting error as '" iges data base overflow'.Anyone have thoughts on this.....thank you in advance

Hi everyone,I'm currently working on a project in Creo 12 where I want to use pro program to optimize and partially automate the design. For this, I would need to be able to automatically generate different amount of datum planes depending on the input and I need to place components in the assembly contrained by those planes. Is their a way of doing this in pro program? If Yes, can someone tell me how. It would help a lot.
Hello,I’m trying to linearize this type of curve using the simplest possible function: I tried many kinds of fits, but none of them worked.Do you have any idea how to do that?thank you, Emilien
Hello, I want to connect my windchill account with my creo 7, However it shows error: - 715db4df-2d3f-48b1-a37c-76142da3116c - 8fd84892-af44-4065-8653-7c673a6ee021 everytime I open creo, and show nothing after selecting: File>Manage Session>Server Management. Is there anything I can do to solve this problem? Kind regards, TC
Hello Community,I am working with Creo Toolkit and exploring three different methods of application creation:Asynchronous MethodI am using the API ProEngineerConnect() which refers to the library pt_asynchronous.lib.Even though I have included this library under Linker → General → Additional Library Directories, I am getting the following compile-time error:identifier "ProEngineerConnect" is undefinedMultiprocess MethodWhen I use the generated DLL in another C# WinForms application, I encounter this runtime error:Unable to load DLL "DLLNAME.dll" or one of its dependencies: The specified module could not be found. (0x8007007E)Could anyone help me understand:Why is ProEngineerConnect() not recognized even after linking the correct library? What could be causing the DLL load failure in the C# application? Are there any best practices or additional steps for setting up asynchronous and multiprocess methods in Creo Toolkit?Any guidance or examples would be greatly appreciated.
Hello everyone, We use Creo10.0.I am able to export a DWG but certain parts of the drawing are missing. e.g. the title block.Does someone know a solution. maybe it is relate to me using CCpfcDWG3DExportInstructions but no other instrutions i tested deliver a openable DWG. public static string ExportToDwg(string inputFilePath) { if (string.IsNullOrWhiteSpace(inputFilePath)) throw new ArgumentNullException(nameof(inputFilePath), "No input file path provided."); if (!System.IO.File.Exists(inputFilePath)) throw new ArgumentException($"File path does not exist: {inputFilePath}"); Interop interop = new Interop(); IpfcAsyncConnection connection = interop.Connection; if (connection == null) throw new Exception("Invalid Creo connection."); FileInformation fileInfo = new FileInformation(inputFilePath); IpfcBaseSession session = interop.Session; Interop.ClearSessionCache(session); session.ChangeDirectory(fileInfo.directory); // Apply DWG Settings Interop.ApplySettign
Hello folks,I'm a new user for Creo Schematics (specifically using Schematics Lite 12.0) and I've been trying to modify the sample catalog into a broader Template for my org to use, but I'm having trouble actually saving the Template file such that any of my changes actually stick. My workflow is as follows:Open an instance of Schematics and load in the sample catalog. Delete the provided design explorer sheets.Modify the sheets in Catalog Explorer (simply swap the PTC logo and address for my company's on the A3 sheet, for example)Save As to an RSDT file.Having done that I would expect that when I open a file and point to this newly created Template, the A3 sheet should have the logo and address but it doesn't.What exactly am I doing wrong? The documentation on Schematics is sparse.... Cheers,Boris
Hello All,I have attached MC-P11 sheets. How can I extract the segment lengths values "L" out of last iterations of this following function. There are two conditions as you can see in subsequent calculations: 1. For Element B in Compression, comp="B"2. For element C in compression, comp="C""L" values can be different or same depending on above conditions and segment lengths.Regards,Sam
I just installed Creo Parametric Educational Edition 11.0.0.0. I am getting a black drawing screen. I am using a laptop (Specs- 12th gen i7 & Nvidia Geforce RTX 3050Ti)
Hello,I'm using Mathcad Prime 11.I'm trying to solve a differential equation with conditional logic (if) due to the presence of a diode in the circuit. The input values are defined, and in the worksheet, some graphs are already plotted (e.g., I_TEST, VL1N). I'm using Odesolve to compute the solution. Is this the correct approach? It doesn't work with the following error "Plot failed"Cou you help me? Thank you very much
Good afternoon i'm using Creo parametric 11 with the intelligent fastner lite version.I would like to know if it possibile to modify or add some screw starting from the template for have my personal codification.Thank you for your time and help.
I'm using Creo Distributed Batch to batch export DXF, but I found this tool will divide drawing sheet to single DXF file, how can I to export them as 1 DXF file ? My CREO version is 8.0.3.0
I am using CREO 12.4.0.0 , In the interface of CREO Installation Assistant , After following all the instructions and adding the simple license "BK800908EDSTUDENTEDUNI" and the id password the source is added and its status shows Not Suitable. what to do ?
I don't have a graphic calculator. I only have MathCAD 9.0.0.0. Is there a way to graph the following steps in MathCAD......or to solve for f another way. This is just an example problem. Once I learn how to do it, I can use it on my homework problem. Here's the full context of the example problem...Thanks, Brent
Using the basic motor (DCPM) motor equation ...electrical and mechanical which have differential equations. I can solve the differential equations in a solve block. I want to create a sum squared error between the measured data and the model, and then using minerr to estimate the motor parameters. The measured data is Ia vs time and rotation speed vs time. But I cannot have two odesolve in one solve block. Can you help please... thanks.
