Hey everyone,I am facing the issue that every time I create a new part file, the units are set to imperial in the model properties (first picture). I have changed the configuration file, so metric units are set as a standard (second picture). However, this apparently does not work. Does anyone know, how to keep metric units as default?I am using Creo 12.4.0.0Thanks and best regards,Julian   

Where can I download this tool? I have searched everywhere and can't seem to find it. The furthest I have gotten is: ENGINEERING.com | File Downloads but when you launch the installation launcher it asks for a password... I can't find it anywhere else. Any ideas?

How can I update my MathCad 14 license since I installed a new internal hard drive in my desktop computer?I changed the internal hard drive in my desktop PC.  The new hard drive has a new MAC address so my Mathcad 14 will no longer open and run on the machine.How can I get an  updated license to solve this problem?

Just to start off, I do not believe this to be a bug or anything to do with Windchill, just that we noticed in the workspace browser. The user had changed one of their displays to something other than 100%. After that, the creo embedded browser started acting strange. The user reported that they could not click on the buttons on the toolbar, nothing was happening. This also might be related to multiple monitors, dragging the Creo session to another screen after the scale was changed to something other than 100%. Here is what I noticed: If you put your mouse over the icon, nothing. If you hovered your mouse lower and slightly right, the icon highlighted and you can click that empty space and the icon activates. Weird. Thanks to @Chris3 for cluing us in. I wanted to document for others since I could not find this in the support knowledge base.  Returning to 100% and restarting Creo seemed to resolve the issue. Hi there It has been days since I started working in this task , but couldn't reach the right result I need to draw this graph in mathcad I have two values >>z ( depth a reading taking each 0.02 m )  so in one meter we have 50 z-values and qc ( resistance in that  z depth)  I need to write a program that will choose the minimum values of ( q , 12 MPa ) if  change through z depth in one meter is less than 12MPa and the minimum value of of ( q , 15 MPa ) if the change through one meter is bigger than 12 MPa the sheet is attached Thanks Yusra 

I have a Mathcad 15 file where I can plot the absolute value of two functions that have real and imaginary components. When i converted the file to Mathcad Prime 11 it provides error. Because the graphs are at the end of the calculations sheets, i am only providing screen shots for now, to avoid having to attached the complete calculation sheets. So i was making 2D drawings when my screen suddenly went black, after waiting my pc started up again and my desktop looked funny as in my pictograms got bigger ec, then when i opend creo evrything is fine untill i open a assembly. After restarting i tried making a new part but it starts fine till i try something and then it just freezes. How can i fix this? i looked around for a solution but im not a techy guy.It freezes as soon as i select to see the planes

Hi, and Merry XmasI' trying to work with LeastSquaresFit and functions and variables NOT unitless, and I'm having problems.I have a variable and some data obtained by interpolationI want to find a value for  such that the function  fits the y values.I have definedDimensionally everything seems correct:But, when I try to use I get: "These units are not compatible".Which units? As can be seen in above screenshot, even though the "Plane Display" is turned off this plane is still visible. This is part from an assembly that I received from a colleague, and for that whole assembly as well when unticking everything in that dialogue box some planes are still visible. I'm using Creo 9

Normally, I know how to prepare a list box, but in this instance, I need to create a dynamic list box such that input from another list box influences it. Specifically, I need to create a list box asking for the “Bolt Type,” but for that, I need two inputs, similar to a real case scenario: Bolt types depend on “Standard” and “Unit System.” Please find the attached image that I saw in a PDF. Please help me to create this in Mathcad Prime. Hi Alls,I ha an an assembly (about 100 parts).I would like to make an enveloppe of this, then substrat it to first part.And keek reference for updates.It it possible without AAX ?I would like to have no interferces .  

Recently I've been downloading Gridfinity boxes from makers spaces as a .stp file as a starting point and then modifying them in Creo to create the container I want on our 3D printers.  However I'll get halfway through designing a container and then decide instead of it being a 4x6 container if I make it a 4x8 container I can fit in this extra widget.   This requires me to download a whole new .stp file and start the Creo process from scratch.  It sure would be nice if these Gridfinity files were parametric. I've been racking my brains to think of the best way to great a parametric Gridfinity set of bins. 1) I'm assuming a family table is the best way to create a parametric set of bins?2) Does anybody already have a Gridfinity  family table they could share with me?3) Filling in the corners between two sets of bins or filling in the edge corner details will be the difficult part.  I'm guessing I could do that with a bunch of relations within

Hello,   As you may have seen, there is a recently introduced bug that is affecting Mathcad file attachments. We are investigating with the assistance of Khoros but are having trouble reproducing the issue. So, I was hoping a few of you might be able to help us out. If you are posting an attachment, could you try first without zipping the file. If it fails, go ahead and use a zip file but message me with a link to the post and description of what happened.   Additionally, if any of you have issues with attachments and have the opportunity could you try adding attachments from a different device on a different network and let me know the results.   Thanks!

Hi I am measuring some reaction forces in the XY domain, but i am confused which CSSY CREOis referencing? Is it the COG CSSY for the rigid body? Or the default CSSY for the rigid body assy?
