CAD

Hi all,I have a curve driven pattern that is propagating in the wrong direction.  I rerouted my sketch to the other end of the curve and all is good - but in a more complex example, and for future reference, how can I simply flip the direction?  I checked and unchecked the option "follow curve direction" - that seemed not to affect the pattern.  I would have thought that I could click the yellow arrow, but that does not work.  Any hints?Thanks!-Nate

I'm looking for an option to reset component display style. One of our users set the component display style for individual part or subassembly, rather than for complete assembly. Hi everyone,I am a user of CREO Parametric 12.4.0.0 Academic Edition.I created a quite complex multi assembly model and, while regenerating it (Operations > Regenerate), I get this message saying that some reference loop has been created. : 1 CIRCULAR REFERENCE LOOPS FOUNDLOOP # 1Depth of loop is 4Feature number 26 (COMPONENT, id = 78) in model ASM07-Z-PLAMA-HEAD refers to:Feature number 7 (COMPONENT, id = 44) in model ASM07-Z2-ASSEMBLY refers to:Feature number 4 (COMPONENT, id = 40) in model ASM07-Z2-ASSEMBLY refers to:Feature number 26 (COMPONENT, id = 78) in model ASM07-Z-PLAMA-HEAD - circle closed. I understand what a Circular Reference Loop is, but I am not able to locate the features and/or  components, based on the information given in the in the message.  So my question is : How can I highlight the components and feature that create this reference loop ? Thank you for any help ! Yves

Hi Community,I am trying to perform a FEA Analysis for the below assembly with contacts. I am interested in a Non-Linear Static Analysis using the preload in the bolts, internal pressure in the pipe and axial load on the flange. I have defined custom time functions for these loads as per the needs but whenever I run the study, it fails throwing up a UI Library error. Can anyone guide me what needs done in such cases?I have defined custom materials for the Gasket and the Rubber springs for its Density, Poissons ratio and its Youngs modulus and I hope that should be sufficient but still unsure if that might be the primary reason for UI Library Failure as the system does not recognize these custom materials?Any Inputs are highly appreciated. I am using Mathcad Release 15.0 and DatecodeM050Hello,We have Mathcad 15 M050 and one of our users would like to save their files to their network share but when opening files from their share and trying to edit them they get a message that it is "read only" and when trying to create a new file and save it they get a message "that the file is in use and to save it using a different name". We came across this post: https://community.ptc.com/t5/Mathcad/MathCAD-File-can-only-be-opened-in-READ-ONLY-from-server/td-p/646022 and they mentioned that it is a known issue for M050. I was wondering if there is any recommendations or suggestions we can give the user.Thank you

Hi, I'm using protoolkit with Creo version 12. I can create extrude feature as instructed in sample code, but I cannot add draft to it. Please advice, function and created tree is attached and it is clear these settings are not saved as I try.   

Hi there, I have a variable with 100 values inside and I want to check every 5 values to find the minimum between them. I need to do that through the entire values ... this means 20 times . I tried to write it this way but not working :  z , and q are related to each other . q is the resistance at z depth .. the results I expect is : the program will check q at each z and will choose the minimum (q , 15MPa) but will do this in intervals 5 values by 5 values .  the sheet can't be attached again . Creo 8:  I tried this earlier, in an admittedly more tricky version, that didn't work.  P!$$ed me off, but since I was trying something new, I figured it might be buggy, but this recent example is straight up modeling/dwg that DOESN'T WORK.  I had a simplified rep in an assembly where some parts were Excluded.  I made a bunch of dwg views of that rep.  I then had to change the assembly to add some parts and fasteners for them.  the BOM changed but the views DID NOT.  I was forced to DELETE all those views, and re-add them.  TOTALLY UNACCEPTABLE.  I've defended Pro/E against the SW guys for 20+ years, and now I find myself questioning why I continue to do so...

I have two similar integrals, one with sin function and one with cos function, but for some reason integral with cos causes an error, but with a sin does not. I would be very grateful for help. Integrals are at the end of the attached worksheet. I'm using MathCad Prime 11 if it matter

A traceback log has been written to C:\Users|Public\Documents\traceback.log error when trying to open a file in Creo Parametric 11. We have tried old drivers, new drivers, dx 11, dx 9, opengl. When it works it has a black screen. If it loads a grey screen, we know it will fail.Here are the errors that I facedReceiving fatal error encountered. Hello,while working in Creo 11 and trying to display the sheet metal development using a Simplified Representation of the Flat Pattern, I am experiencing an issue related to Annotate tables that are set to Flat to Screen alignment.When I create the Simplified Representation for the flat pattern and have an Annotate table added to the Combined View (aligned as Flat to Screen), the table alignment becomes incorrect after the flat pattern is generated. Specifically:When I resize the Model Tree panel, the table does not adjust or move along with the change in the Model Tree width.– See image 1.When exporting the model as PVZ and opening it in Creo View Express 12, the table shifts both horizontally and vertically in the Combined View.– See image 2.I would like to know whether this is a known issue, or if there is any setting or workaround available to prevent this misalignment. Thank you in advance for any help or suggestions.

Hi All, I'm working with PTC Creo 8.0.12.0, with a 49" Samsung wide screen monitor and a NVidia RTX4000 graphics card. Allthough I'm very satisfied with the new wide screen I've got one issue I can't figure out. I would like to use Creo at the right half of the screen, while using the left side for documents, email etc.However every time I open a new window it's new position is on the left side with the size of about 90% of the whole screen. So every time I'm opening a new window I have to drag and resize it, which is very annoying.Is there any way I can get Creo to open new windows at the same size and position as the main window? Thanks in advance!  

Hello i am struggling to add the new dim Parameter in another instance in the family table. Apparently, it doesnt like parameter names.  i thought i could rename the original dim (A, B,..so on), add an offset, create new dim as a parameter, error "you have entered an invalid text string or a numeric value" apparently, it needs to be a number. what will be another workaround?  Ultimately, i want use these new parameter (A1, B1, C1, D_1, E1, F1. G1, H1) in a drawing table.  It seems that i have to convert the string into a number?
