Creo+ and Creo Parametric

When unsung Merge/Inheritance to merge a part file (raw material file) into another file (machined part file) I am getting failures with the scaling of the parts. This only happens when the files are made using different units of measurement i.e. the part file being merged is mm and the part file that is being worked on is inches.  What seems to be happening is a part made in metric being merged into an inch file has a scale that is 25.4 times the intended size because Creo isn't making the unit conversion and instead bring in the mm units unscaled into the inch file and vice-versa. This issue can somewhat go away when toggling between Merge/Inheritance but that will bring in the design tree which isn't ideal.  We cant make them the same units of measure since the prints need to be in there respective units for documentation/customer reasons.  Edit: using Creo 9Edit 2: When changing the units in either model to match the part end up working fine, so t

In Creo Parametric, is there a way to search/filter the model tree for a list of part numbers at once instead of searching for part numbers one at a time?    In Creo View there is a "Multiple Search Values" option where you can search for a list of part numbers at once. In Windchill there is "OR" Boolean logic that uses a semicolon ";" to allow the search of multiple part numbers.

Using the evaluate Expression tool while editing the repeat region relations can you put multiple lines on a single line using something like a new line or next line character? E.g. I have a large assembly filled with many parts. I can use the mass properties tool to select each individual part and retrieve the mass properties that way but I was wondering if there was an easier method or tool that could accomplish populating the properties for each part quicker.

I imported data from excel in to creo through excel analysis.But the name for each imported parameter is appearing as XL_4_2, XL_4_3 XL_5_2, XL_5_3, etc.(see attachment)How can I change the name of these parameters. I want each imported parameter to be identified as some user defined parameter name.

Hi, I had a problem with some assembly that were showing planes even when I had my "plans's display" off. I realise that the planes that were still showing up had a special property checked, as you can see below : (obtained with a right clic on the plane / properties) Is it possible to hide those type of planes too when plans's display is off (at least in assembly) ?For information, when I change the display back to the normal property of the plane, the plane hides like it should but it would be great if I didn't have to.

Our company upgraded to Creo 9 recently. i want to generate drawings for all the parts in the assembly having general arrangement by using a single template, i.e. on the first page, general arrangement of assembly, and on a second page and further, parts of the assembly.

For example, to calculate the displacement in a beam, would i need to input the weight of the beam as a load? Hey, im using Creo Parametric 8.0.8.0. We work on one machine with Win 11 and all others are running on Win 10.I also mounted a networkshare on all PC´s to the letter N: Now to my problem with Creo on Windows 11.I start Creo and want to set a new workdirectory. I use the N drive and navigate to a lower directory. But whem im down in the folder which i want to use, and i select it. There coming up messagw which says: Error: invalid Directory, no changes were made.  For tests i added a new networkdrive P: this drive is set one folder level deeper, now when im direct into the targeted folder it works....  On Windows 10 i want to do the same. At least it works. But only on the second try to set the directory. At first try, theres the same error. When i now quit the window and go into the targeted folder it works.   The user have all the required acces rights to use all the folders in between,  Are there any knows issues

I wroked with a big configurable product model.And I create a new simplified representation, I used "exclude" for the sub configurable modules that I dont want to show.But sadlly, I loss these parts in the context,This is not normal , happened once for me, But other people said they meet this problem some times also,Would anyone knows why this happened and how to avoid it?Thanks in advance!ps.
