Creo+ and Creo Parametric

Creo 4.0 M060.   I recently (actually is has been a little while, but I just figured it out) noticed a change where after editing a dimension in a model, I used to click the middle mouse button to accept the change. Now I have to click the left mouse button twice. It is not a big change once you figure it out. Has anyone else noticed other changes? Thanks, Dale

@Hello All,Please find below the attached file "frame.prt". This creo part has an parameter named password .you can see the features of part only by providing the right password followed by model regeneration.Good Luck.....RegardsAnandkumar P

I am wondering if it is possible to create a repeat region inside of a drawing that can list all models (active and inactive) that are associated to this drawing.

Hi , I have suppressed UDF Feature , But dimensions associated with that feature need to be suppressed or delete automatically , But it shows a warning message , The problem is without clicking my program does not step up and end  So I need a solution to avoid warning message Regards,Kunal B.

I am using Creo Parametric - Release 6.0 (connected) Release 6.0 and Datecode6.0.3.0We have configured Custom Config.pro and custom Config.sup files. One thing that I have noticed is that Creo has taken a direct degredation to how smoothly it ran and how quick it loaded parts and assemblies. Could there be issues with the Config.pro and the Config.sup files have an impact on how long it takes to load data.As a note, we are integrated with Teamcenter using IPEM. If I run the integration without, the custom "/sup, and /pro" files, I don't face any issue, which leads me to believe the issue lies in the Config.pro, and config.sup files that we updated.

Hi,  I have a problem with the following: When I in my 3D model suppress a feature, then in my 2D drawing the dimensions related to that now suppressed feature won't disappear. Does anyone have an idea how to fix this?  

Here is a model for Creo Simulate to test the computational performance. A "good" PC should take well under 2 hours to compute.

It surprises me that, while running through the different PTC forums, I did not find the answer to a lack in Creo Parametric that seems so obvious to me and to other users who have worked with other CAD systems like SOLIDWORKS, Inventor, NX...In all these CAD systems, it is possible to select the midpoint of a line or an edge (eg to measure between two midpoints). No problem at all. In Creo Parametric, this simple functionality isn't available at all. Or am I wrong? Any comment is appreciated, as long as it is polite!Kind regards,Philip Olieux

We recently installed 7.0.8.0 and I am having some difficulty in constraining a sketch.   I want to keep the squiggle below at a constant thickness.  As I constrain the center points of the inner arcs to the outer arcs, some of the coincident constraints that I just created disappear.  When I recreate them, others will disappear.  Anyone else experiencing this this issue or have an idea of what is going on?  

Hello Dear Community, Is there any way to automatically assign the Feature Name (KE-Name in German) to every pattern element?In the model tree it looks like the instance gets the parent's name with a [x] extension, but the real Feature Name is empty for these objects. (Of course, when I modify the instance's name by hand, it will be transferred to the Feature Name as well.)I've found no configuration option or anything for this. Thank you in advance!

Currently composite design is disabled by default in Creo.Refer to Article - CS77071 - How to create composite part using Pro/COMPOSITE module in Creo Parametric (ptc.com), we can enable this by hidden config.pro option enable_part_subtype_composite to yes, but it is still in very old menu manager style, also a lots of functionalities are limited.Do somebody know whether PTC has a plan to modernize Composite Design?Composite Design is a very important for many product design with composite material, why PTC still ignore this in design workflow?

I am using Creo Parametric Release 4.0 and DatecodeM140the intelligent fastener extension does not appear in the "tools" window of Creo. I was wondering how I install or use it.

I am using Creo Parametric Release 8.0 and Datecode8.0.2.0We are having issues with Creo 8.0.2.0 latency launching on a virtual environment.Problems we are running into is the latency of Creo 8.0 takes about four minutes for Creo 8 to launch with three different installs.Creo is locally installed.For couple of days after our testing took about 16-20 seconds for Creo 8 to launch.Now we are back to latency takes about 4 minutes to launch Creo 8.0 on all 3 environments.No issues with Creo 4.0 M140 on the same environment.What we like to understand what is needed and required technically on the background for Creo 8.2.0 to run and launch is there anything different comparing this with Creo 4.0.- Any new services on the back end of Creo 8.0, is it FlexNet license please advise.Here are the errors that I facedWe are having issues with Creo 8.0.2.0 latency launching on a virtual environment.

when I creat flat harnesses,i always fail to fan out.It prompts "Some wire/cable(s) were not fanned out due to insufficient length."I have some pics here:so,any help or some tips?thanks.

Has anyone seen this or have a suggestion for fixing it?When I simulate a cut in moduleworks on Creo 9, it sometimes creates a random large circle that, of course, gouges the part.  Path simulation in Creo shows no such circle.  And when I run the part in real life, there are no problems.  But it really messes up my machining simulations.  I've had this on a couple of parts now.  On the part in the picture below, the red represents a gouge.    I tried reducing the "interpolation tolerance" as well as the "collision tolerance", but neither eliminates the circle. 

Hello, how can I measure the volume of  formula-driven lattice?   

Thread milling seems broken in Creo 8.  I used a template that worked fine in Creo 7, but now in Creo 8, the lead-in radius is the wrong direction.  It's still tangent, but the wrong way.  I can't get it to change and have to switch to a radial entry so that there is no radius.  Is this a bug, or am I doing it wrong?  

A few years ago, I did some experiments for using the ability of Creo View to show two windows with parts being cross selected between the 3D model and the harness done in Creo Schematics.  Select an item in the schematic and it would highlight in the model.  At the time, I could not get enough of the items from the schematic to have the proper data in the EDA file for the linking to be practical without a lot of manual work.I have heard via the Tech Committee for Routed Systems that some parameters may need to be set to make the linking work well but I have forgotten who the person was that commented about it.If you know someone that has successfully used this feature, can you comment here.  This could be a great help to service or support people.

Howdy!I am having issue with Family Table.  The latest version (2.5) of the main file 123-456-XX.asm refers to non-latest version of the instances (ex: -01, -02, -03).  Is there a way to update the main assembly so that it refers to the latest version of all instances? I hope that make sense.  We switched over to a different CAD software MANY years ago and I am VERY rusty with Pro/INTRALINK.  Also, because we are using Pro/INTRALINK 10.0 M030, it is no longer supported by PTC. Any help would be greatly appreciated!  Thank you!
