Creo+ and Creo Parametric

Hi everyone, Would appreciate your help. I'm doing a 2d drawing from a 3D model. In the 2D drawing (.drw), I have two combined states, i.e. A and B.Now I have some annotations in my 3D model which I was able to pull into my 2D drawing for state A. Issue is once I have the annotations in state A, I cannot get the same annotation in State B (unless I do manual annotation). Either the annotation is in state A or B, not in both.Question: Is it possible to have the same annotations in state A and B at the same time? ThxsSandy 

Hello, new Creo user here.  I have a drawing that has a couple of family table generated models in it, including the generic.  How can I tell which model a particular view is associated with? Similarly, There are a few tables, including a BOM.  How do I see which instance the BOM is associated with? Can I change this associated on the BOM (or any table) without recreating it? Thanks,Greg

ok,ok -- I know this has been asked many times before, but for the life of me I can't find a summary of postings. Just single emails asking the same thing and no responses... (I will post a summary with all responses once the dust clears)Using WF4 M050 -- I cannot add balloons to a view with a supposedly assigned repeat region. I get the Invalid View for BOM Balloons error. No matter what I've tried I can't get this to work. I understand ( I ~think~) how repeat regions are tied to models/reps. I have narrowed the problem down to trying to place 2 views.Here's how I'm setup... ASM1.ASM REP1 REP2REP2 also shows some parts in REP1Create a drawing. Drop in View1 with REP1 on sheet 1. Create Table with Repeat Region and show balloons = ok. Drop View2 with REP2 on sheet 2. Create Table with Repeat Region -- note: table displays correctly with only parts from REP2 -- Show balloons and I get the Invalid View error. huh?Further testing... Has anyone tried the config setting drawing_name_sameas_model_name?  The documentation I found for it says "yes" will auto select the check box for Use drawing model file name.   I found it today and set it to yes.  When I tried making a new drawing for a part, the checkbox on the New window was not checked for me.  Using 7.7.5.0

Hello everyone! I have an issue with the working planes in Creo 7. The planes can only be shown when Plane Display is activated. If assembly contains a large number of parts, planes of all parts is being visible when the Plane Display is activated. I just want to highlight only one plane of the part in the assembly. It doesn't look to be possible. When I go to the part in assembly Model Tree and toggle visibilty of the plane, nothing happens, i.e the plane is still invisible. Do we have a solution here?

Dear Creo community, i would like to control the lengths of my parts in an assembly with an excel spreadsheet. That works with an excel analysis and relationships for a while.   But if I save and reopen the assembly and want to edit the Excel analysis, a new Excel spreadsheets is created with the existing lengths. The name is different. Changes in the new Excel table have no effect on the model. Neither do changes in the linked Excel spreadsheets. Not even after editing the analysis and regenerating the assembly. if I want to edit the Excel again, a new Excel spreadsheets is created with the old lengths.   In the company we use Windchill. The Excel Excel spreadsheet is not saved in Windchill but on the desktop.   Do you have any idea how I can fix the link between Creo and Excel spreadsheets? Do I need to save the Excel spreadsheet in Windchill? How would that work?   With best regards Morian

Dear community,I have an CREO 4.0 M080 installation with an external application which is not provided by me. I asume it to be a toolkit application (dlls are present). Startup of CREO is without GUI. Creo is closed by external application after the tasked has successfully finished. I coded a OTK java free application initalised by a protk.tk file, which runs fine stand-alone without the other application. In combination with the toolkit app it does not work. It seems that my java app comes second, but since the toolkit app closes the CREO session this is the wrong order of starting the two external applications. Do you know how I can start the java application before the other (toolkit) application? In general: I don't understand how the other application get's initialised without protk/creotk.dat file.
