Hi I am having problems with limit dimensions I wish to be able to set upper and lower limits in the dimension but the option to allow me to edit this is greyed out.I have taken the time to read a few posts so I know about changing tol-display to yes in drawing options I have also changed Tools > options > tolerance_standard to ISOI am just a bit lost where to go from here.Thx.Hope you can help.
I am using Creo Parametric - Release 3.0 (connected) 3.0I was working on several parts in a workspace and each independent of each other. Creo would randomly crash when saving, modifying, opening, and/or removing the part files. I was able to remove the files eventually and started in a whole new worskpace and checked out new files. The same error repeated itself "Exception EXCEPTION_NONCONTINUABLE_EXCEPTION". This issue would cause a fatal crash to Creo on average twice per five minutes. All files that were used to test and find the pattern on what was causing the issue were randomly selected and disconnected from each other. Sometimes the same part and sequence would work without error and sometimes that same sequence would fatally crash.Here are the errors that I facedException EXCEPTION_NONCONTINUABLE_EXCEPTION has occurred in the thread 6920
Hello, I'm trying to estimate the build time by measuring the cross section area for each slice in a model, since I have an approximated melting-time/area [m²/s]. My idea were to use a plane which defines a section and from there measure the area, then move the plane one length unit and take a new measure. This would go on until the whole part/build is covered then save this data to a .csv or excel file. My question is: is it possible to write a script within Creo to do such thing or are there anyone with another suggestions? Thanks!
I use Creo 7.0.2 on Win10.Here's what i encounter:I want my body to be 1.5 times high by stretching in warp tool, but the result didn't match. it turns out to be 2.1xxx times. and I found out that the boundary of the marquee is not lying on the surface of my body exactly but having a offset value. Size:150x43x1.5mm File_name: tmp_warp.prtSo when I stretching the result won't meet what I expected.*This body forms by removing certain features.(The original one is the shape defined by my customer, and therefore I can't show you guys.) However when I create a new part and draw the same shape but big hieght, the marquee correctly lies on the boundary of the body. Size:150x43x30m File_name: tmp_warp_2.prtThe question is for the case I encounter, I don't even know the offset value of the marquee, so i can't adjust by modifying the value in the box. Is there any possible ways to snap the marquee on the surface I want or know the offset value so I can adjust it.
I am trying to create a cutaway view that removes a corner of a part to give the user a view inside the assembly.From the help, I understand that I have to create a surface and a zone (3D cross-section).I do not know how to activate the section. What steps am I missing?The models are made in Creo Parametric 6, but I tried in 8 as well.
I created a repeat region for a wire harness, details include: From/To Connectors and Pins, Wire specs such as color gauge, length. All data are populated except for the From/To Pin names (harn.run.cond.from.pin.name). How do I resolve this? Thank you!
Hi!I have problem with the report of the harness parameters in table.I have set parameters for connector, pins and cripms. But I can not report this. I have the filing, that I can not use all of the parameters shown in the group in my attachment. So I can not create a table with the information from witch Pin to with Pin the wire is going.If I use the manufacturing tool, he create right table, But this table is dad (it is just text). So any update is not working.That is way I prefer to have my own drawing with my own table. What can be the problem?Maybe somebody can do this table (I have attached the Creo files)Thank you in advance!
The handlebars are barely movable when the parts "GEAR1" and "GEAR2" are unsuppressed but otherwise perfectly movable when they are suppressed. Are they incorrectly attached to the assembly?
I have a few annotations on a 3D model that I want to print and give to the shop floor for a quick in house EC. The issue is I cannot find a way to easily "preview" the print before it's on paper, and the Based on Zoom setting is never accurate to the limits of the graphics window. Is there an easy way to either preview the print before I actually print the view, or set the "size" of the graphics window to a standard paper size so the Based on Zoom setting will represent a full sheet of paper.

Is there an alternative to the mainstream "circle" selection in CREO? Most of the time, we only need a circle to focus and zoom into details. Thanks.JSp.s. Is there a way to rotate the "16" text in the surface finish symbol?Its properties has a box for angle but it stays grayed out. Is there a configor something? Does anybody know how to define the defaults for Notebooks? I don't seem to be able to find any configuration options that define the drawing settings for them. Mainly I would like to be able to set the default unit of my notebook to mm. Now, even though I open a drawing template the notebook defaults to inches while all my other documents types open in mm.

Hello, I wanted to upgrade my VB.NET program from framework to .NET 5.0 After upgrading with the converter from Microsoft I have the problem, that some classes are not casted correct. For example I get error: Public member 'CurrentModel' on type 'IDpfcSession' not found for line: ...asyncConnection.Session.CurrentModel Does anybody has a solution? Thank you!
Hi, In some models, when exporting a family table to Excel, it is adding random columns or creating duplicate columns for some parameters.After saving the Excel file, the family table will not update anymore and delete every row. The column "o" shown below, is added after adding a parameter column "widthMM".
