Our users are working with Creo ParametricWe've changed our licence server but we're not able to retrieve the new license file including the parametric functions. We generate a file with "MECSTRUCENG_STSIM" and "MECSTRUCUI_STSIM", but that don't allow us to use parametrics functionnalities. We may be lost with the new naming model. Can you please help us, how can we retrieve a new licence file for a single flexlm server tat will work ?
Hi Guys, Anyone else having issues with Creo 7 and 3d section views? I want to create a section view in my 3d part to measure some the thickness of my part. Im making an offset section, as I want to create a sketch of where it is. It shows fine in the preview. But once I accept it, I get this crap. Its like it doesnt hide my sketched curve, and trys to create a solid from it. Ive been using Creo since the Wildfire days, and it seems Creo 7 is SO buggy. Is there a config setting to stop this from happening? I NEED to have this right on the center of some geometry to get a good measurement....so moving it slightly offset till it works is not a good solution. Jay
To my surprise I found an item type of GTOL, having trouble figuring out what to set gtol to... Set gtols = hole.ListSubItems(EpfcModelItemType.EpfcITEM_GTOL) Dim gtol as Ipfc???? Any help would be greatly appreciated!
Hello Everyone! We recently upgraded to Creo 6 and i have noticed different behavior regarding display of datum curve features. I'm looking for the config option to enable the "show datum curve features" by default, anyone know the answer?

I am using Creo Parametric 4.0 M130I need help with Layer Management. How to capture all layers being used by users into 1 layer configuration to be used by everyone.
Hello, i have a problem. In my drawing, a component that I added as a STEP file from an external source is displayed with all of its edges. This error only occurs with the parts that I add externally. How can I set that only the visible edges are displayed for these components? Attached you will find a picture. Thanks!
I am using Creo Parametric 5.0 5.0.2.0Creo only works on the left display. If we move the window to the right display the entire application freezes and we are forced to use task manager to force quit the application. This happens when using Creo Paramedic, ModelCheck, and Creo SimulateWe tested and we can move the app in minimized mode only. If we move it as a window or full screen it freezes.
I currently have a cabling assembly with multiple harness parts. Is there a way to automatically route the harness so that they do not interfere with each other. I have tried to Thanks Steve
I am using Creo Simulate N/A N/A1.) What is the difference between "Creo simulate" and "Creo Simulation Live"?2.) What are the limits for calculation of these two versions?3.) How many is the cost difference between both versions?

I am trying to model a nose cone/end surface with G3 surface conditions (as shown in the image below/file of model attached). I am using PTC Creo 7.0/Style. I'm trying to achieve a G3 surface condition on all 3 domed sides and a normal constraint around the bottom perimeter. So far I am only able to achieve a G3 condition on the central curve/surface and a normal condition around the bottom perimeter. When I try to increase the two surface conditions either side of the central plane from a G2 to G3, I get the following error message: "The cross curves are not connected with the same continuity as the connection" I'm not sure what I am missing here? It would be great if you guys could take a look and tell me what I am missing?
I have the following relation in my relations for a BOM that simply removes the specified cage code: IF exists("asm_mbr_cagecode") IF asm_mbr_cagecode == "12345" my_cagecode = " " ELSE my_cagecode = asm_mbr_cagecode ENDIF ENDIF Which has worked as intended, EXCEPT I am now noticing that there are a few parts in my BOM that are pulling the incorrect cage code from another unrelated part. Without the relation, I don't have this issue. Not sure where this issues may be coming from.
Bonjour, J'ai besoin de savoir comment faire pour ajouter un paramètre dans un dessin dans un tableau qui est lier aux instances d'une famille de pièces. La dernière colonne devrais varier mais elle réfère toujours uniquement a la pièce générique.
I am using Creo Parametric - Release 2.0 (connected) 2.0 M150HI, Could you give us best practices for configuration of the nvidia control panel. Our computers are running parametric 2.0 M250 and 5.0.6.0 and simulate Our graphic cards are Quadro RTX 4000 (on Dell Precision 3640 Tower) Thanks a lot. François
I found this video from SolidEdge, and I found it very usefull https://youtu.be/pPCrpZyi1RE?t=272 This video from NX with samething https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oEeNlSsp5e8 Basically, on a surface or a quilt, it's possible to create a curve with an angle from a reference, like a shadow. How to create it in CREO?
I am using Creo Parametric - Release 7.0 (connected) 7.0 7.0.2.0When using Simulation Live for a structural analysis of an assembly what spacing is required between the parts so that they are not considered bonded together. It appears that I need more than 0.1" before they are treated as not bonded together. Is this accurate? Can it be changed? I work with parts in the size of a handful of inches and this gap can make significant changes to the design in order to get the parts to behave as not bonded together. Thanks,Chuck
I am using Creo Parametric 7.0 7.0.2.0Every time I save a drawing I get this “Model Check Report” blank dialog window that opens on the left side of the screen and doesn’t close until I hit the “X”.Here are the errors that I faced Blank Model Check Report.
Hello everyone,I wanted to copy a measured value and pasted to txt file, however, I failed, first, I right-click the value area (1874.84 shown in Figure 1) and click ‘copy’, then I pasted the value in txt file, but there is nothing to be displayed, I do not know why this happens?Any advice will be highly appreciated, thx!Regards, Figure 1

Hi Folks! When creating a HSM roughing NC sequence I've set the config option mfg_param_auto_copy_from_tool to 'all' but the finishing speed and feed data for the selected tool are written into the parameters, not the roughing ones. If I create a Rough or Volume Rough sequence it imports the roughing speed and feed as I would expect. Am I missing something or is this a giltch? Thanks in anticipation, Clive
