Creo+ and Creo Parametric

I have few images in sheet 1, I want to move them to other sheets. I don't see how this can be done, please help me.

Hi all, I'm using the C++ Object toolkit and the Creo UI editor. I have a problem with a part that looks like that while unbend: And that as bend: The problem starts with those small internal surfaces in the cutouts. They must remain flat. I have tried to use JOIN but I have an issue with it. There is an error. I'll explain in another reply or edit this on later. For the moment the question is, can I "split" bending line to not bend those small features? 

hello,I have a problem: I use a material with user-defined parameters on a model; when I create the drawing, I want to insert a symbol that automatically includes the instructions for producing the component, and I would like the material parameters to be automatically inserted. Did PTC ever fix the volume not remembering it's name issue they created in Creo4 and (as far as I know) carried it into every version past? Last time I checked it was still there (must be years now) even though it was a known issue that broke the mold design package. 

Basically I am making grooves for a tiny coil of diameter like 0,5mm on a small cylinder body. I have made my 'groove', and revolved it around the axis of the cylinder and then patterned it using fixed spacing (pitch).But I have to manually adjust the length of the cylinder body sketch to make sure it doesn't get interrupted.Let me break it down to two objectives.I want the coil groove to be patterned automatically till a fixed reference edge/plane. The pattern cannot be interrupted midway unless it falls with 0.0Xmm of the seed pattern or 'whole'. (In other words, the last pattern cannot be broken or broken by a specified dimension 0,0Xmm. If it is broken then the wire diameter will not fit and that space is wasted.If this cannot be fulfilled, then the length of the cylinder is automatically reduced or increased to make that happen for the last pattern to be intersected by the given length 0.0xmm or be 'whole'/'undisturbed'.I hope it is clear now. What is the best way to go about this

Dear teacher, hello:How to use Jlink to develop and obtain entity features in pattern? Features such as ID number 87,120,121 in the red box of the attached image. I tried using Features GetPattern cannot be obtained. Can a teacher help me answer this?

Hi All, I'm currently using Creo 10 and am interested in improving how I detail standard holes, In the past I have put a lot of work into the .hol files and had some success with making this work, but I have a problem where the parameters used by the hol files do not pull through the tolerance for that size,  I think I have to move to building ISO style hole callouts using &d dimension callouts in a note or lead dimension. Does anyone have experience or access to a toolkit module that can help tie up the &d values for a hole, the info > feature dimensions seems to do this, but it doesn't tie up to any description or repeatable convention I can see, and there's no description link like what the Feature Element Data or "local parameters" table provide for the hole sizes, but not dim ref's. Many thanks in advance Dave.

Is it possible to create BOM in model base definition on CREO 11

Hi, This might be a basic question. I am trying to create a duplicate of an assembly with a different name in a different folder to the original. For example: I need the assembly name to be different but i want to use the same names for the parts but have changes in the number of parts between the two assemblies .  Assembly 1 - part 1 - part 2 - part 3 Assembly 2 - part 1 - part 2  When I try to do this with the save a copy function, any changes in the new assembly reflects in the original assembly. I know I can do this if I change the names of each part within the assembly but I'm hoping I can use the same part names.  Hope that makes sense, thanks in advance !  

Hello   I have created a tapped hole in Creo part file. Once I go to edit definition -> Shape, I am able to find option for through thread. Option is disabled for me. Any idea how to enable the same?   Thanks and Regards Ketan

Hello everyone, I am beginner on creo, my company is switching from solidworks. I would like to know the easiest way to change the thread callout. M4x.7 ISO - H TAP DEPTH 7.923.3 DRILL (3.300) DEPTH 9.900 - HOLE I would like to delete the (3.300) bracket and reduce the 7.92 to 7.9. ATM I'm updating it manually to every single thread feature and it is consuming a lot of time.

I have a question regarding the compatibility of our Expert Moldbase Extension (EMX) license with Creo 11.0. Currently, our EMX license details are as follows:Feature Name: 192Feature Version: 40.0Expiration Date: 01-Apr-2026From my understanding, Creo 11.0 requires EMX 17.0, but our license seems to be associated with an older version (possibly EMX 15.0, which matches Creo 9.0).I would like to confirm:Does Feature Version 40.0 correspond to EMX 15.0, making it only compatible with Creo 9.0?Is there any way to use this EMX license with Creo 11.0, or is an upgrade required?If an upgrade is needed, what is the recommended process for acquiring an EMX 17.0 license?For a newly purchased EMX license, does it have to be downgraded by two levels to match our current license?I appreciate your guidance on this matter. Hello, I'm looking to see if Creo (3.0) can support GD&T with a Position tolerance on a hole, representing directions of X and one for Y. With the image in this post, I'm looking to create a Size on the Hole, with two position tolerances: X and Y (or a specific direction; no diametrical zone).   This will represent a rectangular zone, rather than a diametrical zone.

We use Creo 9.0.4.0. I have created a piano hinge from an imported STEP file. This involved cutting the fixed hinge and reassembling it so I can change the open angle of the two leaves of the hinge. The screenshot below shows the assembly list of the part.  After closing out Creo for the day 0n 2/22 and attempting to work on the file today, Creo crashes and I get this error message:I found that I can open asm.1 and asm.2 outside of the working directory, but the .asm more recent of .1 and .2 cause Creo to crash. Has anyone experienced this?I developed a work-around by copying asm.2, renaming it. I can get the assembly to open. Why would the latest files crash?Any insight would be appreciated. Thank you.

Hi, I have certain questions pl. help me in finding solutions 1) How to know whether the installed creo is installed with VB API ( means it supports VB files) 2) I want to create or the modify the part dimensions through VBA (excel) to easily modify the part without doing it manually ( means opening the part and editing the dimensions) will it be possible? if yes if anybody has small example(program or the part running through VBA) it would be great for understanding 3) I want replace the part in assembly using VBA will it be possible to do?   Any positive response are welcomed   Regards, Shubham

I am using Creo Parametric Release 8.0 and Datecode8.0.0.0I am making Custom hardware for the AFX library based on the vendors we use (Automation Direct vs 8020.net) - When I add my new hardware (New Connector Equipment) the first one adds correctly with the right Part number in the model tree (151099.prt), but anything after the first defaults to the base part name (t-nut_ad.prt) which is controlled by the tab file similar to the bolt_kit parts in the 8020 libraryEdited to add - This is the command string when trying to add the subsequent parts which is supposed to be additional 151099:151099 regeneration completed successfully.Part '151099' not changed since last regen.T-NUT_AD has been saved.Select axis as component reference: PLACEMENT_AXISSelect face as component reference: PROFILE_SURFACET-NUT_AD regeneration completed successfully.Part 'T-NUT_AD' not changed since last regen.C

Working with Creo 10 Rev: 10020:I created a new drawing and with "show annotations" I can show dimensions of my part features in all the views.But when I click on a shown dimension the tolerances tab is grey and I'm not able to show tolerances of the activated dimension in the drawing. I can add/see/edit this tolerance of dimensions in the part itself.Even More strange is, that in old drawings this works without a flaw!Can you tell me what I do wrong?

Hi,I created a subassembly that I wanted to export for the top-level assembly. Since the subassembly file size is huge, I can't use it directly in my top-level assembly. Could you please suggest if there is a way to export the assembly (envelope) parametrically so that I can use it in the top-level assembly?

Using the piping module you can use the Pipe Solid to create pipe parts.These pipe parts have no material. You can add material in the line stock but like many options in creo, this doesn't do anything (doesn't even change the weight/length in the same menu lol)My question is simple: How can I add material to the piping parts (without doing it manually for every single piece of pipe ofcourse)I can think of two options:Option 1: Through the line stock material option.but since that option doesn't do anything...Option 2: Through relations. In the linestock I can fill in stock number which shows up as a parameter in the part. I want to add a relation to the template of the pipe part (still have to find out which template it uses and how to modify it) which basically says: IF stocknumber == A, then material =A. IF stocknumber == B, then material =B etc. Can anyone help me out?
