Hi, I'm using Creo 10 and i'm trying to export the model to 3d PDF using VB COM API in C#.i tried below 2 options and getting exceptions. var instructions = new CCpfcPDFExportInstructions().Create(); model.Export(pdfFilePath,(IpfcExportInstructions) instructions); model.ExportIntf3D(pdfFilePath, (int)EpfcExportType.EpfcEXPORT_PDF,null); can you please provide some code sample to guide me through?
I am working on some big drawings with several sheets. As I work along - the drawing elements keep changing, and it is making me crazy. For instance, the note boxes resize on their own (going to multiple lines) when I am moving an unrelated view. The dimension lines keep jumping around (set them all perfect, then when I come back to the page they are extending to never-never land). (For that matter, some of the dims move too.)Views move, and sometimes overlap. I make the page perfect, then go to another sheet, but when I come back, views have moved.Extra leaders suddenly appear from notes pointing to nothing.I keep getting these weird errors saying it can't regenerate some features - but in the model space and assembly space, they regenerate fine.Sometimes the dimensions and notes look correct with respect to each other, but the model has moved, so the dims and notes are going to nothing. It's like a refresh error, but it won't refresh back to where it belon
In Creo 11 there is a new mapkeys.pro file, which is split from config.pro file. How to set up an alternative folder for mapkeys.pro file. Under Help Center there is an information which says, there is a possibility to set customized path?
This is my first time dealing with locked module licenses so I am looking for confirmation that this is true. If I call a T2 [PROE_DesignAdv] floating license in my psf and I have a locked module license then my understanding is that the psf will look like this: ENV=CREOPMA_FEATURE_NAME=PROE_DesignAdv (386) Where 386 is the locked module featurename (in this case Generative Topology Optimization). If I have more than one locked module then there is just a space between then (108 386) for piping and topology for instance. Do I have this right?
Hi, I'm a new users of Creo 11.0.2.0I have set in my configuration (view the attachments) the option "Automatically Scaling a Sketch" but it's not work. Are there some other configuration to able or disable? Thank you
Hello Has enypone have some idea how to made this topic.I woul like to export some of parmeters to excel thane make new value or imput new value. Then I would lik to import back to part. For boom table. Rehgards
Recently downloaded creo 11 and have found that performance very slow compared to creo 10. Nothing in my set up has changed, hardware or software. The on screen colours are poor. I did have the black screen and implementing win32_gdi improved that but when working with assemblies and moving/turning the model underlying redrawing happens and I've looked for an option that would cancel that but no luck so far - as I only need the 3D model. When using text on drawings the screen just flickers. I've tried open_gl too in the graphics (config.pro) but nothing improves performance.I've made sure all the latest drivers are installed too. Any ideas?Role back to creo 10?
Adding cosmetic threads to a shaft or hole in a model did not give expected results. I would have expected a surface texture map or some feature easily seen. Is there a way to display these threads?
Hi,I try to build a mapkey that automatically select the CS feature above my last copygeometry feature. To do this I have a first mapkey "--lf" that select the last feature in model tree and a second mapkey that search for parent CS of my copy geometry. but It doesn't work. If I replace~ Select `selspecdlg0` `RuleTypes` 1 `ParChild`;%--lf;\by~ Select `main_dlg_cur` `PHTLeft.AssyTree` 1 `T3 621`;\than it works but reapeating the mapkey later in model wont give the right CS as it will always pick `T3 621` In the end I would use a similar mapkey to select the last 3 features in model tree and group Cheers, Robert mapkey --lf @MAPKEY_NAME--lf select latest feature;@MAPKEY_LABEL--lf select latest feature;\ mapkey(continued) ~ Command `ProCmdMdlTreeSearch` ;\ mapkey(continued) ~ Select `selspecdlg0` `SelOptionRadio` 1 `Feature`;\ mapkey(continued) ~ Select `selspecdlg0` `LookByOptionMenu` 1 `Feature`;\ mapkey(continued) ~ Select `selspecdlg0` `RuleTab` 1 `Attributes`;\ map
Hi,Is there a good, current source for downloading Creo Material files? I am looking for commonly used metals and plastics. It seems crazy that every individual or organization has to create their own material library. I'm assuming this has been done many times, but cannot find a definitive source online. -Scott
OK, so, how do you hide some quilts, and show others? I have a part that has tapped holes top & bottom. When I make my top view, I want all the stuff hidden below that surface. Easy enough.. 'No Hidden' and 'hidden line removal for quilts' = Yes. Sure enough, all my hidden lines are not shown, nor my hidden holes. BUT: my shown holes, hole on the top of the part / in the view, now have their quilts hidden. (SO they are just thru holes, no pretty pink circle to show / denote threads) OK.. 'hidden line removal for quilts' = No. Now I see the quilts for the threads in my tapped holes. Problem is now I see ALL my outer circle to denote threads on hidden holes. (So I see all the threaded portions, but no 'hidden holes' or other features) SO, how do you hide a quilt on a tapped hole, that is a hidden feature in the chosen view? And have the quilts to denote threads appear on shown holes?
Hello everyone,I am experiencing an issue with a specific ModelCHECK verification in sheet metal parts.I have configured the thickness validation in ModelCHECK to report an error if it detects a value in the SMT_THICKNESS parameter that differs from those defined in the thick.txt file. This issue only occurs in files containing the Flat Pattern instance. Since we have many legacy files in this condition, the problem has become quite frequent. As a temporary workaround, I have been making minor changes to the generic file and updating the Flat Pattern by verifying the family table. However, there are cases where I need to edit the instance itself, and in such cases, ModelCHECK does not perform the validation as expected.I have attached an image that illustrates this issue.Could anyone assist me or suggest a possible solution? I'm using CREO 9.0.9.0 release. Thank you.

The note for a cosmetic metric thread (in our Creo5) look goofy when they specify an M16.000 thread with a 0.500 pitch. I have had no success with the various "LEAD TRAIL ZEROS" detail options. These notes don't seem to have the same functionality as our regular hole notes (for which we have created our own versions) Does anyone know of a solution for this? Thanks, Vince
Hello Community, I got a very weird licensing issue.I have 8 Creo View MCAD licenses and I want 6 of them to be accessible only to 6 named users. So I modified the ptc.opt file like this on my license server : GROUPCASEINSENSITIVEGROUP CVMCAD username1 username2 username3 username4 username5 username6 RESERVE 6 PVMCADPRO GROUP CVMCADRESERVE 6 PVPRO GROUP CVMCAD Problem is : for one specific laptop, it is impossible to open Creo View MCAD if the user is in the CVMCAD group :- Creo View Lite = OK- Creo View MCAD (username1, in the CVMCAD group) = NOK- Creo View MCAD (username2, in the CVMCAD group) = NOK- Creo View MCAD (username7, not in the CVMCAD group) = OK The same test has been done on another laptop (but the exact same type), but with different results :- Creo View Lite = OK- Creo View MCAD (username1, in the CVMCAD group) = OK- Creo View MCAD (username2, in the CVMCAD group) = OK- Creo View MCAD (username7, not in the CVMCAD group) = OK I don't
Hi community, I am trying to measure the maximum and minimum stress at a point for a specified coordinate system (shell model). In other words - I am trying to asses the bending contribution in a plate by measuring the maximum stress (on for example the top of the plate) and the corresponding minimum stress (on the bottom of the plate). Frustratingly, you can not measure maximum and minimum stress directly at a point, so I have set the spatial evaluation to "Near Point" and specified a small radius of 1[mm]. This measure is applied to multiple points in a pattern as shown in the attached screenshot. Multiple measures can be applied to the same point. The parts containing these measures form part of a larger assembly/sub assemblies. Before adding the measures, analyses run past the "Begin Engine Bookkeeping" step in the run log in a few seconds. After adding the measures, the analyses is hanging on this step - it hangs indefinitely and does not provided a
Hello,we are getting this error PRO_TK_CANT_MODIFY (-48) trying to assign a parameter value or creating a new parameter. I found this https://www.ptc.com/en/support/article/CS419066: from Creo 10.0 on, object are requested to be in checkout state to modify parameters, when used with Windchill.Do you know if there is any options to workaround this?As developers, we need to revise and complicate our logic flow to add a checkout to our customization routine. That could be expensive and time-consuming.Thanks a lot
Enable Volumetric flow rate & volumetric flux in section window of post processing Creo Flow Analysis. Can anyone suggest any workaround? when will PTC introduce these variables in Creo Flow Analysis ? Is there any development / work going on related to this subject?
Hello, everyone friends, please ask, creo nc how to use 5-axis processing glasses model.

What software do I need to open and view a .pha file? I tried Creo View Lite, but it doesn't support it.
In this episode, NASA give us very special access behind the scenes at Kennedy Space Center. NASA has been pushing the boundaries of space exploration for decades, and today, the Artemis program is the next giant leap. With a mission to return humans to the moon and venture even further into space, NASA is embracing cutting-edge digital engineering to make this vision a reality.
I have seen this before, just can't find it. We are thinking of creating BOM tables to compare different assembly configurations in a single table. Is there an easy way to do this in Creo? Assembly 101 Assembly 103 Assembly 105 Assembly 107 Part number Description X X X X 101 Main Piece X X 102 Support A X X 103 Support B X 104 Top Cap 1 X 105 Top Cap 2 X 106 Top Cap 3 X 107 Top Cap 4
So I've been working on a very simple part with some GD&T callouts and have now encountered my fourth issue trying to do basic annotations (Creo 6). This time, I've noticed that attaching a runout callout to a surface results in a filled arrow in the feature control frame (I'm not talking about the leader arrow). When attaching to a witness line extending from the part object line, the symbol in the feature control frame turns into a stroked arrow. See attached image. This is frustrating because attaching to the witness line is the only way I've found to enable a gap between the FCF and the object line when placing the FCF against a surface. Another question so I don't keep making posts, how does one callout a set of chamfers that were all made in one set of the chamfer feature tool? Show Annotations gives me AxD dimension, but not the 2X callout. I added the 2X in the attached image, which is not parametric and thus not preferred.
Hello All, Software Version: PTC Creo Parametric 9.0.3.0 We are trying to use the repeat region of a drawing table to input assembly data from left to right. However, the system default inputs this information from top to bottom. Specifically, we have a cable assembly that is made up of a single cable and a terminal on both ends. I would like the repeat region to input the data horizontally rather than vertically. We are using the repeat region symbols:asm.nameasm.mbr.nameWe have tried the asm.mbr.name:1 or :2 to see if the code will have the individual part for the respective column but this did not populate. Is the below example possible, or will the system default always be a vertical entry and there is no possible way of changing it to horizontal? Want to have Table Example:Assembly PN Cable PN Terminal 1 PN Terminal 2 PNAssembly 1 &nb
