Hello ptc When trying to activate Modeling Express 6.0, to get my 72 hour key I am getting the following error in my browser "Internal server Error code 500".  As a side note, I have been having to do the 72 hour key for a couple of years now as I get a Proxy Configuration-Connection Failed error for automatic activation. This has not been a big deal as the 72 hour key is a bit of an annoyance but not that big of a deal.  Please see attached screenshots.

I attempted to upgrade from CREO Parametric 11.0.4.0 to 11.0.6.0 this morning. When I go to start 11.0.6.0, it fails to start because it cannot find a .psf file. The only "reconfigure.exe" file I can find is in the C:\Program Files\PTC\FLEXnet Admin License Server\bin folder, which merely shows me the available license server. I cannot uninstall under Windows either. Is there a way to salvage this installation or manually uninstall and start over? Any help will be greatly appreciated.

Hello, I am using the free Creo Elements direct Modelling express program and would like to save my 2D drawing in annotation as DXF. Unfortunately, I do not understand on your help page in which file I should change something so that I can save a dxf file. Can you offer me further assistance? HiFrom a few days I am unable to access PTC site when I ask to request an activation key, either for version 8.0 or version 9.0 (I installed just yerterday for trying to solve this problem !). I still cannot acquire a 72-hour license due to Cloudflare Internal Error (since Oct 20) despite upgrading to Creo Elements v9 , reinstalling everything , Win 7  up to Win8.1 , back again , back to to Creo v 6  etc etc . But the interesting thing is that I ended up repairing a Macbook Air that had a dead display that I last used three months ago , which had Creo Elements running on Virtual Box , and it re-opened fine without having to acquire a new 72-hour license , because when I shut down VirtualBox I had "Saved The Virtual Machine State" with Creo running on it & without closing Creo , rather than powering off the Virtual Machine. It seems the virtual license doesn't affect Creo on VM's  in the same way or at least not on my setup (I'm using VirtualBox 7 on a 2015 Macbook Air running OS Monterey  & Creo Elements v6. I guess I'll lose it when something crashes as it no doubt will , but till then I don't have to keep trying to get a new 72-hour license. I'm

I am new to the PTC Creo Direct Modeling Express 6.0 setup, and downloaded this free single user CAD tool to get started with making 3D objects. I choose the 64-bit version, and installed on my Windows 8.1 machine. After installing, I want to start the program, and it asked me to activate for new users. After registering for an account with PTC, I then attempted to activate, and get the following:Connection failed.For Modeling Express to automatically activate, it requires access to the internet. Please check if a proxy has to be specified, and enter your company's proxy server details so that the activation can proceed.I don't have any proxy settings in my browser, and am on a home network behind a NetGear wireless router. I do have access to the internet, and can't seem to determine why I am getting this message. Has anyone else seen this before? Any idea what I need to do to get PTC to see the internet?

In Modeling Express, I have figured out how to save a single part as a STL using the "Select" button in the Save dialog, or I can save as STL all of the parts using the "All Objects" button in the Save dialog.  Is it possible to in the save dialog to save just a subset of the parts (meaning, more than one part but less than all parts)?

I am using Pro/ENGINEER and Creo Elements/Pro Release 17.0 and Datecode96130I changed the license host from a computer that died to the new device in the PTC licensing management website, but am having issues installing Creo with the new licensing information. I saved the license.txt file to the new device and it keeps telling me that the license server is not reachable, despite the fact that the license server is the local computer.

How can i change this values by default, i dont want chanfer and i want this value to be 180 by default and not 120. How can i do it?Creo Elements/Direct 20.2.1.0

We are running v20.6.1 and are unable to get any FEA jobs to run successfully using the Design Advisor module. We opened a support ticket late last year and were directed to the SPR linked below. Design Advisor hangs during Performing Analysis and does not finish the job with special computer environment in Creo Elements/Direct Modeling  To date there does not appear to be a resolution to this issue. The enhancements documents for later releases, including v20.7, do not indicate that this is resolved. Has anyone else encountered this issue? Do you have any workarounds to offer? Thank you for your help

Hi,we have this scenario: a notebook HP ZBOOK STUDIO 16 G10 (Microsoft Windows 11 Ent 24H2), a HP THUNDERBOLT DOCK 280W G4 and a monitor PHILIPS 273V5L. We use PTC CREO 20.6.1.  The problem is this: when we open Drawing on the Philips monitor, the program crashes and closes all open programs. I attach the error that the event viewer reports. If we open Drawing on the laptop monitor, the program starts correctly. If I update the Nvidia video card driver, then the problem is solved for a while... Should I reinstall Drawing from scratch? Or should I reinstall Windows entirely? Thank you.Best regards,        

Please quickly respond regarding the support for CreoElements/Direct License Server 20.8 on Windows Server 2025.In recent years, the servers available for purchase primarily use Windows Server 2025,and it is expected that more customers will be unable to downgrade to 2022 due to compatibility with other systems.

Just wondering if anyone has either gone through the Windows 10 to 11 upgrade while running Express 8.0 to see if it works, or has installed on a Windows 11 PC.Thanks

I have to install the "PTC License Server (FLEXnet Publisher) 11.19.1.0". But the Download-Link from the PDF PTC FlexNet License Server | PTC does not work. I only got a blank Site with a text (a2d9bf28e43b0f35a8b4a4a600957bd52a991866432ee733c8d45aab8bb5037a flex11.19.6.1_x86e_win64.zip Where can i download the License Server?

Hello,   I am using creo elements/direct modeling version 20.6. I have noticed that it's still not possible to open a drawing straight from the model tree. Would it be possible to write a script or custom command to do this? Because now you have to go to the masterdata first and find the drawing there.    Other solutions for this problem are also welcome.   Kind regards. Siebe

Hello,I'm having a problem with PTC Creo Elements/Direct Modeling 20.5.2.0 : Sometimes I loose the little "cross" next to the cursor resulting in me unable to select anything (see attached files). I tried to close the viewport but nothing changed. The only way to get the cross back is to restart Creo. I can't find a way to reproduce consistantly the problem. I get this issue 1-2 per week. I hope someone can help me.Cheers !   

Is it possible to save and upload files to Model Manager using Creo Parametric?
