It is very difficult to enter every countersunk or counterbored hole dimensions one by one. Preselection of this holes can make our work very fast and easy and reliable.
Hi, I'm looking to make Ref as qty for the part number by using repeat region or relations in parametric table - in the following below cases. 1. Standalone 2 different assemblies in one parametric table 2.Fig assemblies consist of 2 or more instance assembly in one parametric table. Please respond if you find a solution.
The German table contains a specification of the standard in the name, the English table does not. This regularly causes discussions.
Hello, When trying to open a pdf from windchill on the embedded browser on Creo 5, I receive this error I tried following this article where this was solved Article - CS271042 - Downloading attachment of CAD document from Creo embedded chromium browser fails (ptc.com), however I do not have the Windchill Shell installed on my system. I require the embedded browser to be set to chromium_browser, otherwise other tools will not work. Is there any other known solution to this issue? Thank you,Mark
Multi-sheet capabilities are available in all other 2D Drafting Tools like AutoCAD, Creo Elements Direct Drafting should also get this capability at the earliest. It is a very basic requirement for any 2D Drafting Tool. Moreover it is already there in Creo Element Direct Modeling Tool, So it just has to be extended to Creo Elements Direct Drafting Tool.
Greetings In the classic interfaces mouse + tablet (-pelook 1), you can paste a "text" that is in the Windows clipboard by pressing the middle mouse button/wheel in the text line or in the Me10 editor. Is there another way to do this pasting? Reason: We (still) use the tablet, there this is particularly awkward. That means after you have selected and copied the text and are back in ME10, select the desired action with the pen; then put the pen away ; take mouse and position cursor at desired place, press middle mouse button/wheel to paste; put mouse away and then take pen again to continue working..So I'm was looking for something like an INQ-query (which unfortunately doesn't exist) that I could put into a macro and trigger from the tablet or keyboard. Is it somehow possible to write the clipboard content to a file that can be accessed with OPEN_INFILE ? I am currently doing this in a macro:PASTE_FROM_CLIPBOARD NOSUBPART Specifying a point where there is nothing else. What is then found
I have a project stored in my Model Manager installation (models and drawings). I have to send my project to my customer that is also using Creo Direct/Modeling but without Model Manager. Is there a quick way to export model and drawings in a single zip file? The task is easy for the 3d-model, but I don't find the way to automatically collect all drawings related to this design.
Cannot show thick cables in an exploded assembly drawing view. They show up as thin lines.
Asked a question that would make no sense to this community. Was not even related to CREO modeling. Had to do with a state condition that was easily resolved.
For those who prefer the Unix user interfaces (PELOOK 0 ou 1), a menu has been added. To be downloaded from http://kotom.eng.free.fr/
There are times, when in Annotation, the mini toolbar will appear, but pressing the buttons fails. Normally, when hovering over a button, text will pop up giving a description of what the button does. That does not even happen. Does anybody else have this issue? I wonder if I have something buried in my customization's that prevent it from working all of the time. Thanks Tom
Does anybody knows what are the steps and which files generally Creo Element Drafting follow to start?Mainly I'm trying to have at the startup of the application the old original Black background in the Me10 style. Thanks!Marco
Hi, How to add arc length symbol in the drawing as shown in red loop in the attached snap. Please explain step by step. (CREO ELEMENTS) Regards,Nidhin

Hi, I would like to know how a radial arc length dimension can be shown in a drawing view in creo elements also would like to know how circles or any isolated lines can be made hidden or removed from a main body surface in a drawing. Thank you.
Dear Administrator,Take steps to prevent me from posting about Creo, as it wastes time to translate and read.

When displaying the DB Properties window some attributes cannot be seen well due to the text color. Some texts/attributes in the window are shown in grey color and the background color is almost similar. Now we need to do a "Edit" to see the details clear instead of just look to the fields.
Is there an error on the website? - or has this product been withdrawn? All links saying download point to this page.https://www.ptc.com/en/products/creo/elements-direct/modeling-express There is no link to the installation package on that page. does the "free" restricted version still exist?

Hello all, I'm trying to emboss text on a cylinder in Creo Elements Express. I do the following: 1) Create cylinder 2) Create workplane parallel to cylinder face 3) "Modeling->Modify 2D->Text to Profile" the text onto the workplane 4) "3D Geometry->3D Curve->Wrap on Surf" the text onto the cylinder ...At this point I can use "Modeling->Modify 3D->Pull" to emboss the text, but it embosses linearly, as opposed to embossing out relative to the surface of the cylinder. I suspect I should be using "Modeling->Modify 3D->Offset", but I can't figure out which set of options (if any) can accomplish this. Any ideas? -BW
I have multiple closed sketches on a body. There are thousands of these sketches. I would like to create separate parts or features from these closed loops . What would be the fastest way besides Creo Toolkit.
have a busy hole pattern, using Show Model Annotations I am adding the datum axes, but they are too big and overlapping. How do you change the size of when they are first added? (I know how to change them manually once they are added).
Hi All,I have change threaded hole dia standarts. Can I change?I have looked under sd_customize folder full path is "C:\Program Files\PTC\Creo Elements\Direct Modeling 20.5.1.0\personality\sd_customize\MachiningAdvisor" but I did not see all parameters.
I am finding that some edges on a simple rectilinear model will accept a round of say .125 radius on a 4 inch side, show the geometry but not remove the model material which would be gone if the round completed. I've tried starting with different simple models and it fails on some and not others. There may be a common origin of the trick edges like they are edges created by an extrude. I haven't gotten to sorting this out. I've been running Creo and Pro/e for a very long time and have never encountered this before. What would you look at assuming this isn't a bug?
