I have around 14 buttons with each button having different values. Upon clicking on any of the 14 buttons, i wish to set a property value. Normally, here i'm having to call 14 setProperty services of a thing. But, i wish to simplify the process. Any suggestions??

Hi,    I want to know if there is a way to iterate through all of the available things properties, instead of having to go on the ThingWorx server and read them one by one. I am writing in C, using C SDK.    I have seen something similar to what I want but it's on Java: http://support.ptc.com/cs/help/thingworx_hc/thingworx_6.6_hc/index.jspx?id=IteratingThroughaThingsProperties&action=show   I was searching for the equivalent version of the C SDK.    Thank you!

When is the isConnected property in the remote thing will update? Is it the time websocket connection established or it will update when data reaches the data from sdk or based on the alwaysOn protocol which will keep on updated by the pings?   -thanks, Abhiram

How do i make the Layout portion scrollable?I mean.., lets say i create a mashup. On which i put a layout of 2 columns. On the left column, i put a map widget which should not be scrollable. On the right column, i put some 2 tabs. And under each tab i wish to have some 24 time series charts in 12x2 pattern. So, i wish to make the right column scrollable. How do i achieve this?

Hi,    I have connected a KEPServerEX6 to ThingWorx and the isConnected property reads TRUE.  When I try to add properties to the Remotething from a remote binding, no properties are available.I have blurred out some parts of serveradress and thing names due to company resctrictions. Hello,   Please, asking for help and guidance, I am installing TWX 8.4 with H2 on a Windows 7 computer and I have no license yet,   I have installed Java, Tomcat, but after following the installation manual for TWX, when I try to open the webpage, I get the 503 error attached,   Please, any tips here?   Tks, Chris

Hi,  I am facing the same issue while installing the ThingWorx Analytics Server Trial Edition.   My ThingWorx Platform is running with URL, https://localhost:8443/Thingworx/Composer. I used the port 8443 and the App Key created for Analytics Server. Tried checking "Use SSL?" box since the URL is HTTPS. But no luck.   The URL displays "Certificate Error" but I guess that should not effect the local installation. Hi, We need to send data from ThingWorx data table to external systems through HTTPS. Flow is : 1. Send data from DataTable to external system using REST over https. 2. If call is successful(HTTP status code =200), mark data as sent. 3. In case of failure, mark data as NotSent.   I tried with ContentLoaderFunctions.LoadJSON(), issue is it does not get any HTTP status code after execution. There is existing issue while getting http status codes. Hello,   I am facing an issue while connecting Thingworx Manufacturing App to KepwareServerEx5.2.     I performed below steps   1. Install OPC Aggregator 2. Install Thingworx manufacturing 8.4 3. Create a new Kepware legacy aggregator connection from Controls adviser. (entered Server name as KepEx5) 4. I got set of configuration settings which I need to configure in OPC aggregator. In these settings I find the thing name as KepEx5-GW 5. I entered these settings properly in OPC aggregator - Thingworx tab. 6. When I start the connection, event log shows connected to Thingworx using thing KepEx5-GW. Below are issues 1. However I get error in event logs which states attempted to add "ProductName" failed. Cannot add item "ProductName" 2. When I check under aggregator tab in thinworx controls advisor, status is unconnected. When I go to composer, I can see the thing KepEx5-GW is connected however, KepEx5 is not. How can I get the thing KepEx5 connected to OPC aggrega

Hi, I am enabling few buttons which will be disabled when mashup loaded and on double click a row of grid I enable the buttons. But I am not able to revert the buttons to disable when I single click the next row or any other row. I am able to make it disable only by refreshing the whole screen. Is it possible to refresh the screen by clicking outside the grid or is it possible to make the buttons back to disable by single click of any other row in the grid?   Thanks in advance, Shalini V.

Hi,    The header of the tree grid doesn't display correctly after the page get loaded .  Only after triggering data binding ,for example, by click a certain , then the header can display well .   Version: ThingWorx 8.4,  grid-advanced-4.2.0.   Regards, Sean

Our TWX security is setup in a way that a custom user group has permissions to make changes, but cannot create new entities (i.e. Read and Update permissions).  The idea is that this group can make changes to support small requests and fix/tweak applications quickly, but not create entire applications.  What I've found is that the "Read" and "Update" permissions do not apply to the "Manage Bindings" button for a Thing property.  It looks like a user group would need "Create" permissions to update Property bindings.  To me, this doesn't make sense.  "Update" permissions should include modifying the property with remote or local bindings.  It also possible that I have something set up incorrectly.   We are 8.3.  Has anyone else noticed this permissions issue with "Manage Bindings"?  Any suggestions on how security can be setup so that a user can read/edit AND access the Manage Bindings?

We have an application which needs to run in the control room of the plant. This screen should show 24/7 without having to re-login by the operators. I know we can set the Session Idle time for all the users, but this is not preferred because also other users can access the application (and other application on the same platform) where people can have the session timeout to not be logged in without knowing.    I found a post to track user activity in the mashup and then run a timer to logout users actively but this also not ideal because we then need to do it for every mashup/application we have build.      Thanks for helping out.
