Hello Community,I would like to make a project with mathcad simulating the old Mathcad Calculation Server.That is, I want to set up a Mathcad on a server and from a client computer to be able to have an HTML in which I enter values and give me the result.And finally you can print the PDF of the Mathcad spreadsheet.I put a scheme as a graphic example: All this can be done without installing Mathcad on the users' computers.Does anyone know a similar example and can help me.Thank you,Jordi.

Good Afternoon, I created a design template for a steel diaphragm.  I completed the template yesterday and saved the file and restarted my computer. Upon trying to open the file this morning, the file will not open.  I do not get any error message when trying to open the file, rather the MathCAD splash screen pops up an then the program shuts down.  I cannot locate any backups or other versions of the file stored locally.  Is anyone able to help recover this file for me?  I am not sure how best to do this.  The file is attached.  Thank you in advance for any help with this! 

I am trying to type the following into Mathcad for a lab:   I can define F1:=(f1*cos(a1), but when I press enter to input the second function, Mathcad exists the math block. I have tried searching numerous forms, but have not found an answer on how to type this in. Ultimately it should produce the following: Any assistance would be greatly appreciated. I'd like to see more than four significant figures.   Can't seem to find a setting that would enable more significant figures from calculated values.

Hi all, I am trying to use Mathcad to symbolically carry out the 1st, 2nd and 3rd differentiation of a function with a stepped component. The first differential of the function yields plausible results. The first differential has the signum function. When I integrate the first differential result into my actual calculation sheet using the built in "sign" function instead of the signum function, I do get plausible results and the units are consistent.Here is the function and the first differential:However, things start getting a bit complicated with the 2nd and 3rd order differentials. Here is the 2nd order differential: As you can see, the symbolical evaluation of the second differential leads to the signum function raised to the power 2 and now I get a new DELTA function. From the help, I understand this to be the Dirac Delta function. However, I am not sure how to integrate this DELTA function into my worksheet. See the enclosed sheet just before the crash.  put an evaluation equal sign after lsolve(A,b) and presto Prime vanishes with no warning or error.        

I have been using MathCad since the late 1980s.  I am now retired and no longer have access to Mathcad 14 which I used with my old company. I want to access some old files.  MathCad Express will not let me convert them.  Is there another way to access the files?  I had a 1990 version of Mathcad but no longer have the ability to load it on my PC.    

I have licenses for at least twenty downloads of Mathcad 14 and at least ten downloads of Mathcad 15. However, when I look for the files, it says "not available". Please, I am interested in Mathcad 14 or 15 and have purchased more than enough licenses to download it to new computers. But now I cannot find it.

Dear forum, Basically, I am trying to analyse the forced vibration of a single span Timoshenko beam on elastic supports at both ends. I want to at the end determine the displacement w(f), rotation phi(f), shear force Q(f) and bending moment (f) at the ends of the beam due to a force excitation on one end of the beam. I want a plot of these paramaters over the excitation frequency f = 1Hz., 2Hz, 3 Hz....1000Hz. To obtain these parameters, I need to solve for a matrix system which looks like this: A.c = b. A is a 4x4 matrix for each frequency, c is a 4x1 vector for each frequency and b is a 4x1 vector for each frequency. So, based on my frequency spacing of 1Hz from 1Hz to 1000Hz, I have 1000 4x4 A matrices in the A(f) matrix, 1000 4x1 matrices in the c(f) vector and 1000 4x1 matrices in the b(f) vector. I have tried using lsolve to solve the system of equation for the c(f) vector but I keep on having an error message which says that the calculation does not converge

We have a MathCad Prime 8.0 license. And we try and move it to another computer. But we get an error during activation. It gives to many activations. Could you please release our license so i can install in on the new computer.Thank you!

Hi all, I'm somewhat new to MathCad. I'm trying to use a solve block to find a solution to several co-planar triangles that have some common sides/angles.  I've got it drawn up in CAD so I can check my calcs.   In the attached sheet, everything up to the solve block is verified.  I ended up with ten variables and ten equations.  I entered all this in a solve block (very bottom of the sheet).  I'm getting a "These units are not compatible" error.   It's possible my math is wrong or that some of my equations are redundant but before I dig into that, can anyone see any obvious error I made? Like in the syntax or units? Thanks,    

I have a wide document. Whenever, I expand an area and the tool moves the horizontal bar right to shown more of the right hand side of the document. This then hides the Area expansion buttons. How can I prevent the tool from doing this? We have documents with lots of expansion areas so this makes it difficult to navigate the worksheet since it moves about on you and requires constantly moving the horizontal bar left again to browse all the Areas.
