Mathcad

I would like to transfer my fixed license to a new PC. I do not have a current support agreement/contract. Is this allowed under the terms of the license?

I am getting error units are not compatible for the said equations and not unable to figure out the way to solve it. Any help is appreciated

I'm wanting to generate spice models in MathCad Prime worksheets. The problem I'm having is I can't seem to find a way to substitute the value of a variable into a text block.I calculate some variables such as: Model_Name:="HDS10M"Nf=2.4Isf=1.86e-7 Then I want to create a text block that contains something like this. .model Model_Name diode(N=value(Nf) Is=value(Isf)... ) but I want this to be displayed in the worksheet so I can just copy and paste it into a text file to have a model.. .model HDS10M diode(N=2.4 Is=1.86e-7) This would be very useful when there are a bunch of parameters like in a FET model or in a subcircuit to eliminate opportunity for human error. Good morning,  I am running some deeper simulations in P8 and noted that the CPU grind was pretty fast. Good morning,  I was going to post in the suggestions, but I do not have permissions.  I assume this has been discussed before but I wasn't able to locate.  Two big components missing in the programming toolbar are simple comments and unary operators.  CommentsI suggest the ability to add comments with a simple operator.  I have been doing the following for the last decade or so and it doesn't appear to incur CPU usage to any significant degree.  It would be nice if you could include an HTML link you can in Visual Studio.  This is what I do currently but it is clunky:Unary operatorsThis would be nice savings and improve readability.  Prefix and postfix operators would be ideal and save space.  I assume these could be made to run very fast.i++, i--++i, --ii+c, i-c, where c is a variableetc.Regards

I have a System of 2 ODEs and one Algebraic Equ By using rkfixed or rkadapt function I must have only 2 ODEs  Is it possible to have have ODEs and Algebraic Equations in rkfixed or rkadapt? With an integral?

I am unable to install my Mathcad Prime 7 licence. When I try to install it:From Mathcat Express I click on 1)Acquire License2) Select the products to install the license for:3) PTC Mathcad Prime 7.0.0.0I am getting the following answer:You have reached the maximum number of license requests available for your product typeDo I have to delete Prime Express and load a new Prime 7??????

Even providing all the inputs the lot will still not plot 

I am trying to convert old Mathcad files from Mathcad 14 to Mathcad Express Prime 8.0. Right now the convert button is greyed out. I believe it's because we don't have Mathcad 15, however we cannot get access to Mathcad 15. Is there any way to get a converter tool to convert our old files to Mathcad Express Prime or even get a copy of Mathcad 15?

Hello. I was trying to plot some level curves by using contour plot command (see attached file). When I define some variable "C", the plot works fine. But when I assign a range to the "C", the level curves fails to plot. Why the plotting fails? Best regards,Sergey  

In the student version of the product, I can't open a file I worked on in one computer on another computer. Is there a solution?

The problem is the R loop solve 2 instead of 1 and the Vx loop solve 2 instead of 3. What’s the problem?

With the four equation evaluated symbolically I am getting results for 3 but the same is giving result as 0 for the last equation any idea?

Hi everyone! New to posting here. Only slightly less new to MathCad as a whole. I am using a matrix with unitless values, multiplied by a constant that has attached units. The resulting matrix shows units, but it won't allow me to change them. The constant's unit is a force, in tons, and the resulting matrix shows pounds. I was only able to alter the style/number of units displayed.  A few points to clarify: I don't believe I can attach the sheet (work reasons), but if I have not provided some necessary info, I can add more images or provide detail. I have read some of the debate about units in MC on these boards. If the goal I am after in not attainable, that is fine, but I am here for specific information/knowledge. It is not up to me to rework the entire sheet to not include units then append them at the end, or something like that. I just need to know if we can change what we see now or no. I have two questions about the attached worksheet:1. I am trying to calculate two functions in two different ways: One by using a program, the other using the step function. The program gives expected results and  for one of the functions, the step function expression agrees. For the other, it does not. Obviously, I am doing something wrong, but I cannot see what it is - I  thought I set them up in the same way.2. When I eliminate an argument from the function, that I do not think is used, I get an error with "augument". This is something else I cannot understand.

As per the original Post..    Luc…   This is very interesting and elegant.  It turns out that I have an application for your method as well.  However, I have Prime 5 and can't read your Prime 6 file, and the image you posted is cropped on the right end.  Could you post a full image so I can recreate your solution in Prime 5?  Thanks.   Fred
