Mathcad

I used the Mathcad to derive equations, but I noticed that the program gives a wrong derivate for the followingd[(x-1)/(4x*(1+x))]/dx, Mathcad gives the answer as [(-x+1)*x'*(x+1)+x(x+1)]/[4x*(x+1)^2], which is wrong. Would you please advise if anything caused such wrong answer?Thanks!

My students and me decided to check which oval Paint draws. It seems to be an ellipse. See pictures below and Prime 6 in attachment.But there was a suspicion that these are arcs of two pairs of circles - see Oval - Wikipedia. Problem. There are the coordinates of the four vertices of the "horizontal" oval. It is necessary to draw an ellipse through these points (this problem is solved) and an oval made up of arcs of two pairs of circles. What oval does Paint build? Maybe there is a third way?

Hello,Although not new to mathcad, I have never attempted anything other than a simple if statement with programming before. Today I decided to use a while loop so that I would not have to show all the iterative calcs written out in mathcad prime 6. Instead of having a condition attached to the while loop (for example "while n>0") I wanted to make my check based on an if statement at the end of the while loop. Essentially I would like the while loop to ALWAYS trigger unless a "break" or "continue" statement is reached within the while loop. I have posted my spreadsheet because I am really not sure how to even begin to guess what the issue is. In the mathcad sheet I wrote all of my initial calcs on the left. When I decided I wanted to condense them using mathcad programming, I developed the program on the right. I prepare my Mathcad figures for publication so that they are on a white background, not on a paper background. One of the solutions is to move the operator to the plot area with a white background.Are there any other solutions?

I would like to suggest that Mathcad implement the ability to create and use various types of probability paper:  normal probability, log normal probability and others

 Whenever units are induced within worksheet it gives some unexpected results. Can someone comment what I am missing in here

I have been away a while and am having to remember/relearn things I use to do I have a file where I put comments on a plot.  When I click on the comment I get a text box around the comment, worked well.  I just dragged and dropped a comment on a plot I created however I cannot get the text box when I click on the comment.....I am missing a step....what is it

I would like to know why the "rotatemesh" function is marked in red as it is evident from the following figure, while the function "rotate" which utilizes it, doesn't give error?:

Dear colleague, I applied for 30-days free trial full license of PTC Mathcad Prime 7.0.0.0, and received license through my email. I did following operation: oopen Mathcad, choose "options" setting, choose "license configuration", read the file (in the same harddrive) which sent from PTC Mathcad, click "apply", but license status is still "Invalid", license type is still "No License". Please help me to double check anything was wrong of my operation? Thank you.

Installation Assistant does not detect PTC license pack on the application selection. The pack was forwarded via email to another computer with the installer on it. Does that effect the license pack? Currently, both pack and installer are in the same file, same drive. Do I need to unzip the pack from .dat?

I want to format the title of a Mathcad 15 plot (font, font size) separately from axis titles
