My Mathcad Prime 11 trial period has recently ended, so I've been reviewing how some of my older Mathcad Express (E7 & E10, mostly) worksheets and functions perform under Mathcad Express 11.   While updating an array reshape function, I noticed that the performance was deteriorating as the array size increased.  This in itself wasn't too surprising, but it was a lot slower than I'd have expected from an O(log(n)) algorithm.  A mere 50,000 elements were taking 3 to 4 seconds to vectorize (confusing terminology in Mathcad terms, I know, but it is common in mathematics - see links at the bottom of this post)   reshape, however, used a vec variant to flatten the target array into a vector, before creating a suitably dimensioned array from the resulting vector, and vec proved to be the reason for the performance problem.   vec uses fold to apply a bespoke stacking function to its input argument.  I wondered if there was a means of speeding it up and tried a

Hello,I am a student who uses PTC Mathcad Prime 11.0 for my coursework; however, starting today, the program will no longer open/run. I have tried restarting, uninstalling, and all the basic troubleshooting. After hours, I am at a loss, and this is the only way I could find to contact any sort of customer support at this time. Everything else implies some invalid product codes or says I need a support plan. I have purchased Mathcad Prime and have been using it normally for almost a month, so I am wondering what all this is about. If you need any specific info, please let me know.

I'm brushing up on my Mathcad Express skills by writing a Roman-to-Arabic number converter, and thought I'd try generalising it slightly to encompass similar sign-value systems (eg, apostrophus and extended subtractive Roman numbers, and Hebrew numerals).   Mathcad's Unicode range does, however, support Hebrew (and Japanese).  I can programmatically create Hebrew strings ...     ... However, I'm having a problem trying to paste Hebrew text into either a variable name or (of particular interest) strings - nothing happens.  Text Box, no problem.   Hence, the title of this thread: how can I paste Hebrew text into a Mathcad string or variable name?     Stuart  Addendum:   This doesn't seem to be a problem for Japanese text.     I also note that several such number systems aren't possible to implement because Mathcad doesn't (yet?) support their Unicode ranges (eg, Egyptian hieroglyphics, Sumerian cuneiform, Ancient Greek,

File attached. I am trying to fill out this area which I believe launches excel and I get the following error:   I was looking at the forums and some people suggested using Excel 32 bit instead of 64 btbut I already have 32 bit  before I go through the hurdle of asking IT to reinstall this software (which might not even solve the problem) what can I try? thanks, 

Mathcad 14. File Attached. Everytime I double click this box, I cannot type anything in the script anymore and I cannot edit itwhat is that box and how to edit it and get out of the selection to edit it? I dont want to remove or change because I am supposed to change anything in the script other than the input values.  

When I tend to open up the worksheet in Mathcad Prime 8 does it auto recalculates the worksheet on its own or do I have to manually calculate the worksheet ?If yes In which scenario does it recalculates the worksheet?  Best,Sam

I purchased Mathcad Prime 9/14 and still not received the Fulfillment letter.Cleverbridge reference number is 514884616not sure what to do now. 

Helloin the attached sheet there is a problem of mechanics of a damped systemUnfortunately I couldn't use odesolve, so I tried RKfixed, but again I got an error message from Mathcad. So I did a manual RK4😅Could someone help me use the Prime RKfixed? it would be more elegant than what I did😂and also to stop the loop when "v" (speed)  becomes negative,after that continuing the iterations no longer makes physical sense, at least when x<0. Since at that point the load has passed through the damper   also, all attempts I made with the units failed Differential equations are not easy for me😂

Trying to Solve for Va as a variable.  Used "Solve, Va" and tried using the find (Va) function but it wont give me anything. Does anyone know any Tricks to this? 

Thanks MathCad!  It happened once again.  Program crashes AFTER I saved the file and open up the file and it is completely blank.  I have complained about this for YEARS and nothing has been done and I know it happens to others.  I am looking for a new software option because I am TIRED of losing work.

As an electrical engineer who performs worst case analysis of electrical circuits, I'd like to automate this task.  I'd like to take a parts list in Excel, and have Mathcad create the definitions for each part.  For example, my parts list has R1, 100 ohms.  I want Mathcad Prime to make the equation R1:=100Ω. Is there a way to do this?

I am looking for a straightforward way to add my mathcad sheet to word. The solutions I found online haven't been working well or are not very practical considering I have over 200 pages on mathcadmaybe someone knows an alternative that works for my casewhat I have tried so far is:1. I am creating a template in Mathcad 15 that automatically pulls data from an excel workbook and populates various variables with that data. I want to setup a conditional textbox that displays a warning if a particular variable is 0 but is not visible otherwise. Is there a way to do this? 

Hi everyone. I purchased a 1-year student license for Mathcad Prime Version 11. I am having some issues launching the software and need to use my Product Code. However, I do not know where to find it. If someone could tell me where I can find the Product code for the edition of Mathcad that I have purchased, that would be much appreciated. When I purchased the license for Mathcad Prime 11, I received 3 confirmation emails, one of them having a Product Key, which began with MT. However, I was made aware that this is not, in fact, the actual Product Code. Please tell me where it is located. Thank you for your help.

I purchased the Mathcad Prime 11 Student version back in May, but i had issue with my Laptop Wi-Fi Network card, and now i am using a docking station with wired network. But my Mathcad is not working anymore, so i need to know how to re-generate a license with the correct host ID. I am being asked to find the product code but i am having hard time finding it... i need help please urgent ! any help is appreciated.

I noticed an issue with MCP11 vs 10 regarding Advanced Controls List Boxes where the selection is not preserved when a file is saved/closed/reopened. Anyone else seeing this issue?Without selection preservation, List Boxes are basically useless.
