Hello,When I translate a Mathcad15 worksheet into a Mathcad Prime worksheet, it puts these red arrows and lines in there, which can be removed using the clear annotations command.What do these annotations mean? I don't want to simply clear them and ignore them if they are really important, and pointing to some problem or flaw

Hi All, I have a 4th order equation for an unknown parameter. The equation includes some constants whose number depends on the external setting. The parameter must be a positive real number. In the attachment, I listed two possible symbolic solutions k2_1 and k2_2. How can I set the if else condition correctly to achieve the following requirement?(1) if both k2_1 and k2_2 are real and positive, show both of them as the solution of k2(2) if only one of k2_1 and k2_2 is real and positive show this real number(3) if neither k2_1 or k2_2 can satisfy the positive real condition, show an error messageThank you!

Hi All,I am trying to get a skewed bell curve to represent a chemical in a reaction via an equation. This first bell curve will be subtracted from another skewed bell curve that represents a second chemical in the reaction. I have tried many equation types and have settled on the one that I am currently using. The trouble is that I cannot manipulate the equation variables enough to attain the configuration that is needed. Would you all inspect my equation and advise me on whether it can be edited to fit the Benchmark dots on the graph. Maybe another variable can be inserted into the equation? If, not, can you recommend a new equation? The curve slopes are not as critically important as the start, finish, and peak positions and values.As of now, the starting(blue) and finishing(cyan) points are good. It is the peak(green) that must move to the right without sacrificing the other positions.All help is very appreciated.Thank you,GaryMathcad 11

1. I meant to write nC/m^3 as a unit, nanoCoulomb per meter cubic.However mathcad considers it as something else (variable maybe?)All the calculations are correct.What should I do?2. I should put unit meter m on variable r2.But if I do that, the calculation goes wrong.any idea?

I'm trying to output mathcad results as excel or text files so I can imbed them in word, but it seems to me it only allows you to write dimensionless numbers? Is there a betterway to do what I am trying to do?eg I want a word document that says;"In conclusion, the Area is 2 in^2"where the number is calculated by mathcad. (the report is way too complex to do in mathcad alone, I need heading styles, tables of contents, image references, bibliographies etc. etc.)

I have a small programm trying to split a matrix depending on the content in the rows. Now I'm using the folling algorithm:take the row as submatrix on the actual positionstack that on one of the two alternative matrizes depending on a conditionUnfortunately this has a very poor performance both time and memory wise.Assigning the rows via i,j to a new matrix seems to be better. Any ideas why?thanks

Has anyone experienced this before?  The variable I type in comes out as grey, or grey out, and when you try to use it in a formula, it does not work?My worksheet was working fine before, but when I tried to do some "experiementing" with trying to disable certain regions, or certain areas, I get this problem.  I am not sure how to turn it back.I did find a "cure" in creating a completely new file, tested it to see that the variable and formulas show up as solid black and worked.  I then copied the entireccontents of the "grey formula" file to the new one, and the problems seems to be resolved,Not sure what is happening.  Thanks for any feedback so I know how to resolve it later if it shows up again.Dan

Hello,I have a problem with odesolve function in my algorithm in mathcad 15. The puprose is to receive deflection (and deflection curve) of statically determinated beam. The only load is prestressed which generates bending moment. According to Clebsch method I'd like to solve this equation in my case: So I was trying with and without units (You can see it in my file) and I didn't get even one working solution. I'd like to ask You for an advice, because I'm trying to use this function for the first time and I've got no more ideas what should be changed here.Greetings Piotr

The universal constant R is incorrect in mathcad 15. Is it so for you too?
