I have two sheets - Mathcad 15 and Prime 3.1.I hope both sheet is equal. But there is an error in the Mathcad 15 sheet.It is a bug in Mathcad 15 or an error in my Mathcad 15 sheet?If I convert the Mathcad 15 sheet into Prime - all is OK!Help please - I am myself going to bugs...

I am trying to solve a problem of heat transfer in cylindrical coordinates with a boundary condition of convection in the surface. When I write the differential equation and conditions in Mathcad 14, all in prime notation, odesolve cannot find the solution. An error message appears informing that there are too few initial conditions.  As I am dealing with a second order ODE and I am providing the required two boundary conditions , I don´t consider this is the problem.

i have to define "n" functions variable with the index "i" that goes from 1 to n, in the same way usually is defined a n components vector. The problem here is that the  components are not numbers but functions y=f(x). Than i have to do the summation  of these functions as you can see from the file attached. How can i define these functions? i have tryied but mathcad doesn't recognise it.

Hi everyone,I seem to be here relatively oft in the last times.  I am trying to write a file-reading-loop where a certain number of files (in different directories) are read one after the other and processed in a certain way, then the results should be written out to a "summary" file.  Now, a prototype worksheet works for a single file, even the biggest of them.  But when I start the "loop", after a while I get the infamous message "not enough memory for this operation". With Task-Manager I have looked at the memory requirements, and they stay to 14%! The following snapshot was taken immediately after receiving the error message and it is showing memory used 14%. Does someone know how could I avoid this problem? either "telling" Mathcad that it should use more memory, or somehow in my algorithm "clearing" the memory after each file read? because I do not need to have all files in memory, actually all what I need, is the capability to program a loop in order to perform t

I know how to plot a 2D plot where the X variable has units but now I want to create a 3D plot.I have defined a function X(t, T) where t has units of time and T has units of temperature but when I try and create the 3D surface plot of the function, I cannot figure out how to specify the units for the two variables.Thanks!
