Hi, I am creating a calculation report in Mathcad Prime 9 and I was wondering if it's possible to create a cover page that would not have the header that the rest of the document has. So far, I have not succeeded therefore your help is more than welcome! ThanksRegards,Alex

Helloi have an equation. lets saybut if i have less arguments i want to do a different operation, lets say:(of course defining the expression like this will say that it was already previously defined)I dont want to create a new equation with different name.   how can I modify my original equation to understand that the missing argument is null  the closest i have reached is using an IF operator and checking if the other arguments are 0something likeif z = 0 and y = 0     return xif z = 0     return x * yelse     return x * y * z then I need to wrinte something like this --> F(5, 5, 0)if the ecuation is more complex i dont want to write 0 on the argument i would like just to writeF(5, 5) and the equation should understand that Z is missing so just do x * y hope you could help me  

Hello  Is there a way to get shown a the formula behind a value. For example: If i define value for "e" = ((250/2)-(250/3)) = 41,67 is there a way to show the formula when later in the dokument i want to use the value "e", but i want to show how it was determined? when i try to show it now it only shows e = 41,67? best regards AJ

HiI have tried to create a program that calculates a function for each value in the vector, but the result is not being saved for each loop. What am I doing wrong? Thanks for your help.   

Hello All, I am attempting to find the percentage deviation of the calculated output.However, in Mathcad Prime, the calculation using matrix indices is producing incorrect results.What could be causing this issue? In the attached screenshot, the output calculation in green font is correct and was done manually, while the output calculation in red font is incorrect and was done using the matrix indices formula.I have attached the .mcdx file with my calculations for your reference.I would greatly appreciate a quick resolution to this problem. Thanks in Advance.   

Solving ode's I have run into this error before: https://community.ptc.com/t5/Mathcad/Return-Value-of-this-function-must-match-the-problem-size/m-p/727295/highlight/true#M195799 I managed to get around it by switching solvers from Radau to BDF, but I still do not know what the message means and changing solvers does not work this time. As shown in the attached (MCAD 11 - converted from MCAD14) worksheet, the denominator of dv does get small but never reaches zero because of the damping factor eta (Increasing eta does help but does not eliminate the problem. and eta should by ~10^{-12} on physical grounds. Setting p0 = 0 in the denominator does eliminate the problem,  although I do not see why. So, it does seem like the denominator is the problem, but, if so, I would have expected to get a "calculation does not converge" message. Tried playing around with other parameters to no avail. Any comments or suggestions would be appreciated.

I am solving an ode. The calculation converges for some parameters but not for others. My problem is I cannot figure out why. There seem to be no obvious causes, e.g. like a denominator going to zero. I have looked at a number of other aspects without success. I am not mathematically adept enough to tease something out analytically, but maybe some one else is. If anyone has any insights or suggestions, I would appreciate it. I have attached a worksheet. It is MathCad 11. I know there are some others out there using legacy versions like me (still using MC14).  Also sometimes instead of the non-converging error message, mc flags the rhs of the ode and says "The return value of this function must match the problem size." What does this mean?

Hey everyone,I’m trying to recreate a Mathcad worksheet from a PDF file titled Shaft Bearing Speed. I’m using the exact same commands from the PDF to write it in my own worksheet, but I’m running into multiple errors and mistakes that I can't seem to understand.I’ve attached both the original PDF, my Mathcad worksheet, and error screenshots for reference. Hello,I have just started using Mathcad Prime 10.Does Explicit work with min and max functions, or I am doing something wrong?Please see below example screenshot. Hi Mathcad Community, I’m working on a problem involving a box cross-section. I need to plot the shear flow distribution q(y) along the height (y). The plot should be linear in the flanges and parabolic in the webs, but my current plot is a step function and doesn’t match the expected values. Can someone help me redefine q(y), and provide the correct Mathcad function to plot a continuous shear flow distribution?Thanks for your help! 

I want to present results in a table I created.But having the variable name showing when I want to display the results is really not convenient.Anyway around that other than hiding the name with a white box? I mean...It's Mathcad...  Not Paint... Thanks

I have tried transferring my license to a new host ID. I accidentally transferred the license to an old host. When I tried again, I received this notification "Thank you for using Mathcad. You have reached the maximum number of license requests available for your product type. Hello,I purchased an upgrade to Mathcad 14.0 some years ago (2013, personal purchase, not a company). I installed the software on my PC at the time. In about 2017 I purchased a new PC and never installed Mathcad on it as I did not need it then.I now live at a different address, have a different landline phone number and a different PC (compared to 2013). I have just tried to install Mathcad 14.0 and the software installed OK, but it cannot connect to the license. I have reset my password and have been able to log onto the PTC site to send this message, but I cannot get Mathcad working.Can you advise on how I can resolve this issue?Regards,KH.

Cannot reactivate license after computer repair. Hardrive replaced

When I try to 'Activate' my license in Mathcad (from Mathcad Express), it asks for my Product Code. Other 'Help' solutions pointed to the confirmation email, which mine does not contain the product code. Also, a link was provided to another site, but that site is in 'Maintenance'. Is there another way to find my product code?  

I received a license to use while the estore was down from a representative, but it only worked when connected to the wifi I set it up with. Now I purchased the mathcad student prime version, but still, it only works with whatever wifi I am connected to when I set it up and get only express version everywhere else. Is there a way to fix this? I paid for the license and need to be able to use it in different settings.

So, recently Mathcad wouldn;t open, I deleted it, then installed again but this time changed the file location. Now, I can't open any worksheet, if I don't go in the app, Open, and then select the worksheeet. Also, the worksheet in the activity bar or its location doesn't show the Mathcad icon. What can I do to fix this problem?
