Hello, I am trying to use an IF Statement to check one vector against another.  I would like to return the same value into a vector or an altered value depending on if the one vector's value at a row is above 0 degrees.  I have tried replacing Theta_0 with the value of 0 deg.  Either way I am getting an error that says the value must be a scalar.  Could someone help me figure out how to make this IF Statement function properly?   V/r,Devin

My computer factory reset and I have a student license for MATHCAD Prime. How do I re-download MATHCAD? When I go to the Mathcad quick installation guide and I go here: https://support.ptc.com/appserver/lm/mathcad/download/index.jsp and I enter my product key nothing pops up for me to download. Thanks in advance for any input.  I am somewhat new to Mathcad Prime.  I have generated a range variable sigma_t. when i use this in an equation H(sigma_t):= it does not compute and gives the "this variable is undefined" error.  I cannot for the life of me figure out what the issue is and what i can do to fix this.  assistance would be greatly appreciated!

Hi, Then I overwritten values for t1 and t2 and test variable result was updated with the new values of t1 and t2: Then I disabled t1 and t2, but the test variable remained unchanged. Why t1 and t2 did not took value 2 and update the test variable result with 4?  

PTC software download does not have a download button for me. I have purchased Mathcad Prime Student Edition 11, but I cannot download it.

Hello All:  I have encountered some strange behavior with the new "vec()" function in Mathcad Prime 11.  An example of this is shown in the screen capture below.   In trying to plot a complex function (the volume of a sideways cylindrical tank), the old way with a "range" for the h in this example gives the correct results (determined independently of Mathcad). However, the h created by the vec() function yields very different results in this instance.  I tried other simpler formulas [e.g, sqrt(2*R*h-h2)] and the results were satisfactory and both results matched.  But as I started fleshing out the equation with more terms, the behavior diverged as per the example below.   The other terms, when isolated, produce satisfactory results.  Only the term shown below in V2(h) presents strange behavior.  More still, expressing V2(h) differently (e.g., algebraically rewriting the expression will create still different but, likewise, still w

Hi   reference topic: Solved: reloading Mathcad in new windows 11 computer - PTC Community I'm upgrading machines to win 11 and trying to re-install prime 3.0 on those machines with a new correct licence file. Installs but cant apply licence.   Machines with Mathcad already on when upgraded to 11 work fine.   Any feedback welcome.  We have perpetual licence.

Hello All, Has the Math software Wolfram become a competitor to Prime in terms of Engineering value? In Prime going back 10 years or so, I used simple loops to get my calculations done.Which these loops are basic to Mathcad and Prime.I have not known Prime for a programming language rater symbolic programming for loops etc.I have come across Wolfram very often when I need something to calculate on the spot using the internet. Thru that I have recently learnt that it is quite impressive.You can set a grid worksheet and have its color light green too like Prime/Mathcad sheets.So, for me that is some cause of an attraction or pull to Wolfram.Especially considering the price.And it is loaded with a full programming language. Tell me am I missing the serious engineer deep thoughts on this?Your comments are appreciated.  Kind Regards,Karl Bogha.

Hello!. Please, help with the following issue: I have defined two matrices and use them in equation where they are being multiplied. By some reason I get only one value instead of an array. If I define the one matrix ("k") as a variable, then the computation goes on, as it should, and I get an array. What I am doing wrong? 

I have a copy of Mathcad 14 (with the original disk and receipts).  My computer died and I had to move it to a new computer.  During the install, it goes to log into PTC to get the license (after entering the product code), but returns errors saying I don't have permission.  I've got the license file from the old computer, but since it is tied to that computer, it doesn't work on the new one.  I've gotten no response from PTC when asking for help. FWIW, it's on a brand new Win 11 computer.

Hi, I created a file in Mathcad Prime 8.0 and I'm sharing with my client who is using Mathcad Prime 7.0. But he's unable to open due to compatibility.Can anyone help me out please on how to create a file that can be opened in Mathcad Prime 7.0 as well.
