Good morning community. I am trying to program to find a number α so that it meets a condition Psol=0.00 tonnef. In short, what I want is to enter an initial value α and until that condition Psol=0.00 tonnef is met, look for the value of α. Thank you for your attention, my version of Mathcad prime is V.9.0. Translated by the moderation using Google Translate ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Iteración con un valor inicial Buen día comunidad.
Good afternoon, I was trying to convert an .xmcd file to an mcdx file, but it failed and I'm not sure why. I have used this program in the past and don't have Mathcad 15 anymore. Can anyone help me convert this?
How can I add cursor to read the values from the plots it is possible in prime 10? Or any other method ? Cheers,Bruce
Hi, I am using the API, and have a working code. However, for generality, when getting output results I cannot tell what type is it. For example, if I use .... Outputs = WS.OutputsFor i = 0 To WS.Outputs.Count - 2var = Outputs.GetAliasByIndex(i)varval = WS.OutputGetRealValue(var)varvalstr = WS.OutputGetRealValue(var).RealResult.ToStringvarunitstr = varval.Unitsimsg = imsg + "Index=" + Str(i) + " , Name= " + var.ToString + " , Value= " + varvalstr + " , Units= " + varunitstr + vbCrLfNext ... How can I tell before calling OutputGetRealValue that my output is a real number not a string or matrix? Cody
Can I pass string variable into the include statement to based on file path as a string variable? Can it be done
Dears, I noticed an unusual behavior when copying and pasting after editing the new Prime 10 advanced control box. Whenever I try to copy and paste, the box size becomes infinitely long in length.Prime 10 file attached. Thanks for any help, Fred
Is there a way to install Prime 4.0 on a new computer?
I’m currently working on a Mathcad worksheet that wasn’t originally designed by me. I need to convert this file to Mathcad Prime, but I’ve encountered some issues after the conversion. These problems are affecting the functionality of the worksheet, and I’m not entirely sure how to resolve them. Has anyone else faced similar challenges? If you have any tips, advice, or solutions, I’d greatly appreciate your help.
Hello, I’m a student new to this software. I’m trying to solve D1, D2, D3, and D4 in terms of variables but need some help.Thank you!
Hello ,I'd like to use MATHCADPRIME, is there a CREO license that comes with this MATHCADPRIME license, or do I need to buy this license?
Hi,I have this equation: I want to find time t (a symbolic expression for t) at which the above function is equal with 1. So: What I am missing?
Hi, I am using Mathcad15 and new to it. i need to feed typically 4 basic values into mathcad and get result back. i have more than 160 sheets to work. Am trying to automate the values logged in excel to feed in Mathcad as different files saving as PDF well. Can anyone suggest or confirm this one is workable. I tried few times but end up with error loading page. Provided the code below.
I am looking to do the following calc but I am getting frustrated with applying the correct units. I want the result to be in "pounds per gallon i.e. ppg or lb/gal". Pressure is in psi, Depth is in ft, and the 0.052 is a conversion factor derived from converting the following:1 gallon = 231 cubic inches1 foot = 12 inches12/231 = 0.052 however i am finding it difficult to substitute the conversions into the formula. HELP!
I am using Mathcad Prime Release 8.0 and Datecode8.0.0.0How do you copy multiple math regions which are within a text box with intervening text to an area outside the text box. I wanted the copied regions to be separate math regions. The only way I found of doing this is to copy each math region separately. Is there a quicker way to do this?
Hello,Using this fit formula from below, how to determine a, b, c, d, e, and x coefficients in such a way to fit the below plot Flux Density vs Magnetizing Force: I think (but I do not know how to do) to read all the data points of each line (60uH, 40uH, 26uH) and then to make the curve fitting by using genfit Mathcad function, minerr or something like that.
Hello everyone,in the attached file below, fourth column of matrix I is d1 values.I want to loop through each d1 values and get R as a matrix.could someone help me hereattached mathcad 10 file.
As per the original post. Hi Two issues: 1. I would like to publish my chart in a journal paper but at the same time look nice on the work sheet. Through Chart component I can publish a pdf of a chart. Only pdf has good resolution (no matter how much you zoom the pdf, the resolution is great). But the other forms have poor resolution: jpg, jpeg, peng etc. 2. The Font size in the chart component window is fine but on the worksheet it becomes too small. If I make it bigger (in the chart component window) to look better on the worksheet, it becomes a bit too big for the Chart component. For example, a 10 point font on chart component looks much smaller on the worksheet chart. 3, Also, I would like to print multiple plots on one 8x10 page through the Chart Component. Is there a possibility to add multiple charts, give the page size etc in the Chart Component Window? I mean, in Matlab, we can use multiple charts in one shot. How do I do th
Are there available Control tools in MathCAD Prime 1.0, Same as MathCAD 15 has (Insert/ control/....)Thanks in advance for your help!
Hello,Using this fit formula from below, how to determine a, b and c coefficients in such a way to fit the below plot Core Loss vs Flux density: or So, I think (but I do not know how to do) to read all the data points of each line (300kHz, 200kHz, etc) and then to make the curve fitting by using genfit Mathcad function, minerr or something like that.
Is there any way to move text around the sheet without it snapping to grid? I need to move some text in between two grids to put over an image. The lines of the image do not line up with the grid perfectly.
This issue continues the same problem I presented yesterday. This calculation was also easy to do in Mathcad 15, but I am having trouble getting it to work in Prime 10.I have marked the part of the calculation sheet that is not working in yellow. You can see that I calculated the normal to be cylinder using symbolic calculation and tried to use it afterward to calculate the magnitude of the normal vector to be used down the sheet to calculate the total current. However, now Prime 10 does not recognize the results of the symbolic calculation to obtain the magnitude of the normal vector. See the attached file. Thank you in advance, Rogelio
Hi - I have quite a number of mathCAD workbooks in a folder. To access them easily I set up an "Index" mathCAD workbook and typed out a list of them and had a hyperlink to each file so that I can open the index file and just click on the link to take me to the file. This was ok to begin with but if I move the folder then the links all need to be updated and there are quite a few of them now. I remember in the old version of MathCAD there was a way to make an electronic book and I think it worked if the folder with the electronic book was moved. Is there a way to make an e-book now or what is the best practice for this in MathCAD now. I' feel that this must be something that MathCAD users must still be doing but I can't figure out how. Any advice would be very much appreciated.
This is not a solution I was expecting am I doing something wrong ? I am using Mp9 Ivan
Hello to all,After converting a Mathcad 15 file to Prime 10, I encountered an issue with calculating the gradient of a vector function. While it works seamlessly in Mathcad 15, the same function does not yield the expected results in Mathcad Prime 10. Is there anyone familiar with this issue who can tell me what needs to be adjusted or modified in Mathcad Prime to make it work?I am attaching a file with the function and the gradient, as I converted it from Mathcad 15 to Prime 10. I really appreciate any help you can provide. Rogelio
I am suffering a similar (though much more repeatable issue). When we as a company upgraded to Prime I was the only one that could not use the symbolic engine & when I raised the issue it was fixed within 2 weeks. Since then I have had a laptop upgrade & it has reappeared.a repeat of the IT ticket has not resolved the issue. Even the simplest task causes the symbolic engine to crash: is the final response after many minutes of the sunflower twirling. Sheet is attached, but probably not helpful as I can give it to colleagues who don't get the same problem. For them it quickly returns the expected 4/9result. I keep harassing Martin the local IT guy, but all he can do is refer it up the chain & hits a wall. Any suggestions of things to try would be appreciated. ThanksAndy (too)
