Mathcad

Zip file is attached.    I was working some simple calculations and I could not get the units for "fiu" to come out correctly.    Since this is for a spring, the units should be "lb/in". But instead, MathCAD keeps populating with "lb/s^2".    I have re-worked it several times and still get the same incorrect units in MathCAD.    Not sure what I am doing wrong?   Your help is appreciated!     

What would be the simplest way to limit solutions to integers. Mathcad attached  

Hello Ladies and Gents,  solving a non-linear system of equs. Assigning the output values (there are 2 variables but the solution shows 6 output values) to the variables, the units disappear. Script enclosed.  Please advice. Thank you.  Arturo

I am very new to Mathcad and am struggling to evaluate a formula. All help is appreciated.   The formula as written is:   =(1+0.5*sin 1.5 *77.1)   Where 1.5 is an exponent of sine.  

Anyone know how to get the coefficients out of the Bicubic2D function?  Or if you have a program that does the equivalent that would work for me.  I find myself needing to port the fit into excel and am finding I don't know how to do that. A 4.0 example attached but any example will work. Thanks,

Hi, I am trying to replicate a programming block that my professor sent me to implement into a larger mathcad sheet/program. However, I'm getting a bit lost on the formatting of it. The screencap of the correct block is shown below. And then there's my attempt at it so far. I'm mostly confused about the value the if statement falls back on to if the following statements fail. Any help would be appreciated! I'm used to just using MathCad for "cheat" sheet style calculations, so I'm lost on the programming logic of the language.

I am using Mathcad 15.0 M050I started getting an Out of memory error popup window, coming at random times when my MatchCAD file is open but not even running.I added memory to my computer to increase its memory several times.This did not reduce the occurrance of the Out of memory error at all.Here are the errors that I faced Out of memory

is there a way you can make solve not make the symbolic answer and go directly to the numeral solution. when i turn in rapports is seems unnecessary to include it. i linked an example. just to be clear i want the big unusable chunk in the middle out.  

Hi All,Is there an easier way to convert a range variable into a vector? That is, suppose we have a list of data (perhaps huge) in a single table over a range. Infact, this range variable is the output of a part of programming in mathcad. How to convert this in to a vector? Once I can convert this into a vector, then I can easily locate roots using curve "fitting".

Years ago Werner helped me in setting up a technique to define the first deflection in a curve. Now I have to make a similar analysis but unfortunately the worksheet miscalculates the first deflection in 5 out of 6 plots. I was wondering whether this could be optimized? I have tried a few approaches e.g. using a higher derivative but this only marginally improved my results. I have put the correct indexes in the worksheet as correct 1 etc. Any help or suggestion to improve the method would be extremely appreciated as I have to analyse 150 plots and would like to avoid doing this manually. Thank you in advance!

Okay, here's the challenge:  measure the flow rate of a stream.  Build a weir with a V-notch as shown below, measure the water depth as shown. What is the flow rate (liters/min) for a given height H?  A derivation and formula, please!

Hello,   I need to generate matrices however it must be with using the minimal number of operations I mean I can not create them manually I am adding a picture about it.

I want to plot a few functions but Mathcad tells me that my range variables x and x2 are undefined even though i just defined them.   I am new to this program and i cant figure out what im doing wrong.   The problem is at page 10.  

After increasing array size of t the variables getting undefined. Help me please. Im very new to the MathCAD. Error occurs on MatchCAD15 If n<= 10 then all works fine. But i need it to be 25

I am solving a problem of beats in the Mechanical Vibrations course.  The problem is that Mathcad on one sheet gives a correct answer while on the other worksheet gives a very strange thing. There are no variables above or below in these files.  I have run the recalculate command button multiple times but the answer is the same. I think there are some garbage values that it is collecting. My question is how to solve this problem and told Mathcad to forget everything and do the thing from start.   The right program is:   And, the wrong plot is:   I have also attached the files. If anyone knows why Mathcad does this and how to solve this problem please let me know. I would be happy to have your kind suggestions.
