Hi, I was using MathCAD Express Prime and whenever I randomly get the system error called System Error: Item have already been added. Key in dictionary: System.Int32[] Key being added: System.Int32[]It was working fine until recently. This error has been occuring in seemly random locations and times in vector locations such as FaccumTA(6)= What should I do? Thanks!

Hi,I have a new problem. I want to solve a ODE-system with variable parameter. In the picture you see a minimal example.I want solve the ODE with variable a so that i get 5 different solutions of the ODE-system. Is there a solution without to use a program? AN if I need a program, how looks it.thanks for helping!

The attached Mathcad Prime 3.1 worksheet (and screenshot) adds a 4th column to the array (or is it a matrix?) with the weight of pipe filled with water per foot. Creating the forth column with a definition works. The if statement tries to accomplish the same goal, what am I doing wrong?

Hello,I'm encountering an error when trying to install Mathcad on windows 10. I have never installed Mathcad before and am using a trial license file that was emailed to me after registering for an account. I can't seem to find anyone having a similar error. I'm running the installer as administrator in windows 8 compatibility mode, and I've tried both normal and silent installations but get the same error each time. I attached a picture of the error. Please let me know if you have any ideas. Thank you.Also, I should note that I installed Mathcad prime to find it is not compatible with the file I am trying to open(.xmcd), so I am trying to install Mathcad 15.

After a more than a year and waiting a big upgrade where they are suppose to get closer to the options of Mathcad 15 they improved very little.  They added equation wrap.....that's it???Would like to see some simple upgrades like;Boarders...around text, around math, around sheetAdjust margins independently, not three ridiculous levelsadd simple shapes like arrows, lines, circle, squares so that calculations can become more readable.After waiting through the first 4 Prime systems to come out and the biggest thing in the last revision is math wrap....are you kidding me.  Mathcad 15 had so much over any of these prime editions and it does not look like PTC has any desire to make this product as good as it was back then.

Hello,I have solved a DGL with Rkadapt-Routine (Runge-Kutta-Verfahren, adaptiv) , whitch generated following arrays:Now i want to build the acceleration-Matrix by dividing vx over t.So i have to divide each Element and write them into a new Matrix for the acceleration.I think we have to write a little program for it and that's my problem.Can please somebody help me to program it?Thank you for your efforts.best regards, Volker

Hello,I have installed both MathCAD Prime 3.0 and 4.0, today i uninstall MathCAD Prime 3.0, then .mcdx file association lost and can't recovery association.Here is my effort:open "Control Panel"->“file association configuration”, but there is no .mcdx file extension in the list, so fix failed.use mouse right click button on the .mcdx file ,and select "open method" to choose "C:\Program Files\PTC\Mathcad Prime 4.0\MathcadPrime.exe", still no use. The .mcdx file icon is still white and double click .mcdx file can't open it with MathCAD Prime 4.0.How to resolve this problem?

In the attached 3.1 worksheet 4 1x2 matrices are being combined. The values in the first column have units while the second column is unitless. For some reason Mathcad is adding a ft unit to the 0 value. If changed to 1 the units disappear. Why does this happen?

Hello All,I have been working on an integration problem which I was stuck on in which I should have known the identity cos^2(x) = 1/2+cos(2x)/2.I am wondering if there is a way maybe using mathcad's symbolics that I could have worked this out i.e. by Mathcad telling me sin^2(x) is an identity or to get Mathcad to list such identities?Any thoughts?Cheers,Andy

The user make different choices by clicking in list boxes. Dear All,I was working quite happily in a Mathcad sheet, and went to open an earlier version of the same sheet at which point MC 'stopped working'.  Now, whenever I try to open either of these files, or a file that has them as references, Mathcad 'stops working'  It does however open other files.  I assume that these two files have become damaged or corrupted, but would really like not to lose them.  Does anyone have any solutions for recovering these?ThanksFrank

So today's challenge...So I have a problem to which I am given the answer. The real issue is that I need to understand how the answer is derived.I have attached a word document which gives the problem and the solution. Is it a bug or is there any reasonable explanation for this effect?I am aware of the different ways that third root of x and x^(1/3) are implemented for negative argumentsand those negative values sure are the reason for the error because all works OK when I "assume, x>0".
