I tried to print to PDF an educational worksheet and this is the result. Am I missing something?
Hello,We have 2 floating licenses for Mathcad Prime 2.0. Three questions:Can we use them for Mathcad Prime 3.1 as well?Do these licenses have an expiration date? How long will the licenses be valid if we keep using Mathcad Prime 2.0?Thanks.Regards,Mihai
Hi all,I want to have variables as follows: T/W=0.8 or W/S=100 etc. However Mathcad won't let me define a variable like that, because I think it actually divide or sth. Is there a way around this?I don't need to know the W or T, I just want to use T/W or W/S ratio in subsequent calculations. As an example if I want to solve for V=sqrt(2(W/S)/rho*sigma*CL), I would just use the W/S ratio that I would have already defined.
HI..I have two arrays as shown in below snap, here i want to multiply both arrays ( matrix ) and answer should be as shown in second snap.and I need answer with below form. Thanks,Prashant Pandarkar
To allIs it possible to "mix" on Error and otherwise? I am trying to find a value in a vector using a match function,If the value is not found do an linear interpolationElseget the rank of the value (in vector 1)return a value at that rank in another vectorAttached test function which works if all the vectors are the same length but not with different length. It looks like the On error does; not quite work are it seems that the rank is always zero

I have a academic license of MathCad Prime 2.0, and I had it install on this HP EliteBook 8740w laptop in question.Few days ago I did a clean install of win 8 64-bit on the same laptop, and installed Prime 2.0 again from DVD. However now the program wons start, it just flashes an error window, of which I managed to take a screen capture. Now I tried repairing the istallation without any luck. The setup.exe always offers new installation.I also tried repairing with PrimeWixInstaller_64bit.exe, which tells me it's repairing the installation, but the results are the same - the Prime won't start after this.I tried both 32-bit and 64-bit versions, no luck.I tried another laptop, and it works ok.The error log is attached.Any ideas, how to get my prime working again?
I have a problem with PTC Mathcad Prime 3.0It wont open at all.It comes with the error: "An Unhandled exception occurred on the dispatcher thread. See C:\Programdata\PTC\Mathcad Prime\Logs\Mathcad Prime_Exception_20151021_135622.log for more information. Prime will attempt to save any modified files and close. Please restart the application."I have tried to reinstall it and of cause restarted the application. Nothing works. I've looked on the internet, but couldn't find any solution to the problem. Please help, need the program for Gym.
To allQuestion is not yet related specifically to a Mathcad feature but has anyone ever heard of 'frequency band averaging (FBA) of an (output) PSD'? I have done some searches and came across a couple of papers mentioning it but nothing showing what are the (main) step carry out.The overall idea (as I understand it) is to compare to PSDs using some kind of averaging method over a given frequency rangeThanksRegardsJXB
How do I minimize a function of 2 variables?
Why would the file size drastically increase when an excel component is added? Thanks for the help.
To all,Is there a mathcad command to return all the values within a given band/tolerance?ExampleAssume have a vector fv:=[10,11,12..20]I want to get a new vector containing all the values (from f) within a given band/tolerance of a given value filet 's pick a value within the given vector: fv=15tolerance = 1.5vector to be returned : fvband:=[14,15,16]with tolerance = 4vector to be returned : fvband:=[11,12,13,14,15,16,17,18,19]in other words. the new vector should include the values in range: fi-tolerance:fi+toleranceI can think of a way of iterating but to create 'fvband' but was wandering if there is something built-in!ThanksRegards
I'm using Mathcad 15 on a Windows 7 machine. Despite having read this articleTemperature UnitsI'm still very confused. In the attached file, the first line I would have expected the results to be 80C. However you can see I don't get that answer. I thought I was not understanding temperature units and that still may be the case. I have found, that to get the correct answer, that the equation has to be written and then edited to get the correct answer. So you can see that the two equations give two completely different answers. I was able to get the correct answer by typing 0C and evaluate the answer and then editing to -20C. Do I still not understand units (a question than really can't be answered) or is there some error going on here?

I have an end user that is trying to insert a radio button. He is using Matcad 15.0. The user goes through the steps of adding the radio button and nothing happens. I have looked at the following articles:Re: Insert > Control in MC15 Not WorkingI have tried all the suggestions in the article and still nothing. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks
The installer, links and title say Mathcad Prime, but the "about" page says Mathcad Express, both version 3.1.I read that if you buy Mathcad Prime you can also use Mathcad 15. Does this apply to the version bundled with Creo Parametric 3? I'm guessing not.Cheers
Although the subject of the file is not in accordance with electrical engineering, I prefer to publish this work of mine, realized in practice in my home and running correctly, in this "environment".Greetings to all
Hello. My problem is to create vector plot of EM field distribution in time. I would like to make animation that shows vector`s changes over time. I can`t do this because MathCad scales vector plot by itself and there is no option to turn off autoscaling. Can anyone help me deal with or have some idea?
I have tried plotting multiple 3D graphs, but keep getting the error: The function did not evaluate to a pure real valueDoes anybody have a prober fix to this?
Hi, everyone,Right now I just want to find the non-trivial solution to the last equation above,I can find that using the solve block, but since solve block cannot be used in programming,I am afraid I have to find another way to solve a Matrix function with non trivial solution. In Matlab, [eigenval, eigenvecs] = eig (K, M) would return to EV as eigenvecs, using the equation M*EV*lambda = K*EV, and it is easier for programming, say K & M varies. So is there a way to solve non-trivial solution to a Matrix Function other than the solve block in Mathcad?Thank you for your help!BestShawn
In the highlighted equation, I am attempting to define an expression with a single value. Is this possible or should I first solve for 'Kg' as all other variable are defined?Other tips on the best way to do this?TIA,Kevin
I want to approximate the experimental data by a curve as shown below on screenshot. I tried to use inverse probability density for the normal distribution, but without success. Are there any ideas in this regard (which equation can describe the data or maybe I need to create several sections/parts of the curve)?Initial data:The approximating curve must have the following form:Or this form:
HiGood day. Hope you are having a nice day.I am looking for if any of you have Mathcad Prime Template/sheet for solving a system of linear equation using Guass Elimination. My actual problem is when I use solve block, every time I open the mathcad sheet, it doesn't update automatically only inside the solve block. I need to update solve block using "=" sign to find solution, then it works.Hope to find a solutions. Thanks and have a great day.Jahangir Hossain
Hi, I have a problem with units in mathcad15. When i use function view multiplication as thin space for unit and then save and reopen that document unit back to the previous form. After save and reopen units are in previous forms.
