Hello, how I can shade area under graph in Mathcad Prime 3.1?
I'm giving this old problem a shot with the pdesolve built-in function. Yes, this problem has an analytical solution, and most likely, it can be solved using dimensional arrays and finite differences too. I might be missing something obvious as to how I have set it up. Please, take a look. Any feedback is greatly appreciated. Thanks,
Good morning,I have a quick question regarding units. I am new using mathcad. This might be a silly questions but i am trying to input the units at the end of a calculation such as wind pressure in psf, but when i do it changes automatically to Pa^1*psf. that's not what i want. how can i change this?I am attaching the file. first page, last equation. It doesnt have any units at this moments, but as soon as i double click on the unit section and enter psf of lb/ft^2 is also adds Pa^-1.Thanks.Ernesto CostaEN Engineering.
Hello All,My requirement is simple I want to compare two numbers and I want the maximum value in return irrespective of its sign. This is how I tried in Excel if (abs(A)>abs(b),A,B) and it worked well.I tried the same function in Prime3.1 and it crashes every single time I used it. One more thing what I've observed is, the IF statement is working fine when I haven't used Abs function or Determinant operator in it. The real problem arrives only when I include Abs function in it.Someone could please help me in resolving this issue. Thanks in advance.Regards,Ashok
HiNot sure why I am get the incorrect units and the problem cascades down work sheet to produce incompatible units. Thanks in advance.
Sir can u please tell me how to proceed this step in mathcad prime 3.1
I can use the Maximize function for a finding only a one point. And I must use the root function (not Maximize) for the creating f function. Can you help me to use only the Minimize function here. The problem: root(y(x), x) but Maximize(y, x)See the picture and the Mathcad-sheet with cloud functions in attach.
I'm trying to reinstall Mathcad Prime 2.0 on Windows 10. When the program tries to validate the user name and password it fails. Has anybody experienced this issue and been able to resolve it?
Hey guys,I am a grad student that is brand new to mathcad. I've tried looking at other solutions, but unfortunately, I just can not find what I am doing wrong. I am looking at an example problem that was done in class and am trying to recreate it (a pic is attached). As far as I can tell, I have exactly the same program this far (my sheet is attached), but mine gives an error of "this variable is undefined." If someone could check it over and point out what I am doing wrong, I would really appreciate it!Thanks, Caitlin
To community:The attached worksheet shows two programs. The one on the left shows one way of repeating a calculation that works and accomplishes what it is supposed to do.The one on the right is an attempt to0 do the same by iterating the calculations but only goes into a recursive mode.Would like help in the proper programming procedure. Thanks for any help
Hi MathCAD Community,To start I will try and give some background to the problem:I have imported some data points that represent two edge curves of a surface in Creo. Using Matricies I can rotate these data points by a given angle made up of Yaw and Pitch. I then project these rotated data points to the zero plane using a projection Matrix. Next I fit a function through the two sets of transformed data and using integrals I calculate the area between these curves. Now that I have worked out how to do this by specifying the rotation angle I want to iterate through 180 degrees of rotation in Yaw and Pitch to find the orientation that provides the smallest area between the curves. My problem is when I go to find the potential intersection points of the two curves (for defining integral limits) I use a solve block, which cannot be implemented within a for loop for iterating through angles...If anyone could help me find a solution to this ASAP it would be greatly appreciated. I have attached
Hello, I need help with settings Mathcad Prime 3.1. How I can improve visibility grid of the worksheet?I can change the background color of the worksheet?
Hi,Recently I finished my project in mathcad 15 but for the perpuse of print editing, I need to copy text and equations to word. I dont have any problem with text but when i copy equation the result of equation is gone:If I double click on the equation in word the extra mathcad window will open. Thanks to that I will get the result of equation but font will be changed permanently: I am able to copy equations as a photo but then spaces beetwen lines are messed up.So what can i do to copy equations with result and to keep the same font?
Hi, everyoneHere I am trying to find the eigenvectors of C using the function eigenvecs,I know eigenvecs returns to all the eigenvectors of C, My hand calculation shows the two eigenvectors corresponding to the two eigenvalues should be[0.39;1] and [-0.64;1],So what does [1.56;1] and [-2.56;1] represent?Thank you very much!Shawn

Would someone be so kind to print the document "Easy Fit" of the latest blog into pdf format? Thank in advance!

I'm a MathCAD 15 user. Does MathCAD have logical indexing function? In other words I want to find the indices in a matrix where the values of the matrix are within some criteria. For instance I would like to find the row and column numbers in the matrix below that are between -3.8 < G(i,j) < 2.3? Sure I could write a small function to do this but if I were using Matlab A=G(G<2.3 & G>-3.8) would get me what I need.
how do i calculate the coefficients using the polynomial coefficients under the symbolics toolbar.
Hello... Some time ago there was a study on Pro Mechanica to the buckling of a Soda Can.It seems to me also on MathCad.A person would still have these files or link to retrieve.Kind regards.Denis
