Hello I need to make an equation sheet of all these formulas I am using for a project for my Professor. Mathcad is so nice to do this procedure. However, Mathcad 3.1 Prime wants to calculate it. I don't need it to calculate it. I just need to show a list of formulas without calculations and without having a variable undefined. if someone could help me with I would be greatly appreciated. You can see in the picture below to see what I am talking about.
A ball with a mass of 1 kilogram is at the top of a frictionless ramp 10 meters above the ground. The ball rolls down the incline and launches from a height of 2 meters and an angle of 30 degrees above the ground. (This picture was created in Creo.) Create a function that calculates the horizontal distance as a function of initial height, launch height, and launch angle. Calculate the horizontal distance the ball will land from the end of the ramp. Solve for the angle that will optimize the horizontal distance. How will the horizontal distance change if this were performed on the Moon instead of on the Earth’s surface? Assume the acceleration due to gravity on the Moon’s surface is 1/6 that of Earth. Use the Chart Component to depict how the horizontal landing distance changes as a function of angle. Use a 3D Plot to show how the horizontal landing distance changes as a function of ramp height and launch angle. Assume the ball starts at a height of 10 meters. The worksheet sh
Hello, I'm learning Mathcad and have been working on a problem using the software and had an idea of autogenerating a drawing using whatever variables I am given. To do so, I am using the XY plot graph function. I have created the plot and created some lines using my variable to get a general shape, but each line is infinite. I can't seem to figure out how to make each line a line segment that has an actual start and end. I have attached my Mathcad file which has all of the different variables and the plot, as well as some CAD drawings in there that show what my auto-generated drawing is attempting to look like. End goal is to have different loads being shown as arrows as well applying force to the wall structure. The plot is at the very bottom after all my calculations because I have still been messing with it. I have tried to use boolean equation stuff and matrixes to no real success. I am using Mathcad 15. The problem is a basic statics problem where I solve for loads on a
Hi experts,Does anyone know how to solve this issue?the system show that it couldn't find the answer.any useful method that can help me to solve this?
Hi. I need help for calculation in Mathcad Prime , (with numeric values and units) using formulas from the annexed file. Can someone help me please?
Hihis might sound trivial but can someone help input a partial differential equation(PDE) like the one in the image? Regards Raghu
Prime is not allowing to change the units with the range variable getting error messageFor example in the evaluation I am getting unit as m but i want to change to in or cm it does not allow
Hi dear! You can take my credit card and do unlimited shopping.PS The pin code see below. Mathcad will not help!
Hello all, Trying to figure out why certain pages come out blank when I print to pdf or try to save as pdf for the file linked below. Shows up on the screen fine. Same issue if I try saving as an xps file too. Thanks in advanceEduardo
Dear all,What is the key difference between Mathcad prime and Mathcad Express? Is it possible to use Mathcad Express instead of prime for mathematical calculation ?I heard that Mathcad express is free for life time acess after 30 days. So, is it possible to switch MathCad prime into Mathcad Express since Mathcad prime cost around 750USD and mathcad express is free?RegardsPrarthana
In my student years, they said - "Handled the sopromat (Strength of materials) - you can fall in love! Passed the heat and mass transfer - you can get married!".In the attachment and in the figure, the simplest problem from the problem book on heat and mass transfer, which I am currently working on. Can you create more simple solution?
When I calculate section properties for a beam, I usually run AutoCAD's MASSPROP command on the section and then do any additional analysis in MathCAD. I'm often doing composite beams, beams with custom shapes, etc. so I can't rely on magic formulas for specific shapes. There are a few properties that I haven't been able to calculate as easily, such as the torsional constant, warping constant, plastic section modulus about plastic section centroid, and monosymmetry constant. These are found using finite element analysis. I have a python API written by Robbie van Leeuwen called SECTIONPROPERTIES, and it's great but my colleagues don't know how to use Python. So with that context, my question is "How can I use MathCAD Prime to cut a section into discrete elements and run a finite element analysis or solve differential equations o? Here's the DE for the monosymmetry constant: Here's the St. Venant torsion constant:The warping constant, from Galambos, 1968:
I want to solve this equation with x and y being real numbers not complex ones. but without making a system of equations for the real part and the imaginary part like so: Is there any way to use Find or solve in this case?
I am trying to program a series of iteration in mathcad, and i can't seem to program the part that I needed to get a good result. Can someone help me proofread my program? my dependent variable is c3 = 1, 1.1, kd2 that will be programmed to 2 different set of rules, if c3<cbal , Fy and if c3>=cbal , (600(d-c3))/c3 My F(c3) and Mcr is not showing a result of array. I am confused where to put my index that will support my array function. Kindly help. Thank you.
Good morning. I am having trouble opening a PTC Mathcad file. The following message appears. Is there any way to solve this situation? Thank you so much. ----------------------------------------------------------Translated text from Spanish to English using Google translate. Hello, I am a ocean engineering student and a first time MathCAD user.I am currently running MathCAD 7.0 Prime, kindly help me out. Thanks, tips would be much appreciated.
It is famous Mathcad 15 clock. Can you create the Mathcad Prime clock? What must we have at 11 (23) hr?
My workflow in MathCAD has evolved over the years since Prime 3.5. Prior to Prime 6-ish, I figured out that the best way to organize a sheet is to create text fields, and then create math fields in that text field so that my math is in line with my text. This gets around a few bugs with editing. Anyways, I discovered a bug a while back and expected it to be fixed by Prime 9, but I downloaded Prime 9 and it is still not fixed. Here it is: When working in a text field, if I copy some math and text and then paste it in a text field below it, the math doesn't paste. Above is an example of this bug in action. Everything you see below is math and text in the same text field. Is there a patch, or does anyone know a better way to work around the bugs in MathCAD Prime and still use all of the latest features? I don't want to downgrade to Prime 5 because all of my best worksheets are saved in higher versions.
I have a problem in Mathcad. As the picture shown, it always says "This function requires at least 4 arguments but it applied to 1". Can anyone help me? Thank you
Hi all I have created a set of Datum Points in Creo. In my case there are 28 points, from P0 to P27. Those points have been imported from a .pts file.Originally, there were 28 points from an xls file, which i copy pasted in a .txt file, I renamed that file to .pts and imported as shown in the screenshot. So in Creo i got a single feature (Datum point id 66) that has all those datum points. What I want to do now.I want to link those points in mathcad. Ideally would be a matrix with 28 rows and 3 colums. The 3 columns should be x, y z.Or 4 columns (the first would be the label column P0 etc..). What I am doing at this moment.I copy paste directly the coords from xls file to mathcad. Mathcad creates a table where i can label the columns and i can manipulate easily the data from that table to my calculations. Obviously there is not any input from Creo. My question is.Is any way to import the table with the coordinates of the 28 points from Creo to Mathcad as a tab
Hello, Considering the following function: How to find: Local Maximum: x1 and f(x1) Local Minimum: x2 and f(x2) Global Maximum: x3 and f(x3) Global Minimum: x4 and f(x4) on the interval of x: Mathcad Prime 8 file attached. Thank you.
Hello everyone,I would like to be able to use Mathcad Prime 8.0 as a university student. I have requested the full functionality for 30 days, but I have now exhausted the maximum number of requests for this option. I am wondering if it is possible to obtain a license request that is valid for the entire duration of my time as a student, especially because I am nearing the end of a project that I cannot complete without the full license.Thank you
How to give heading to matrix in Prime?
I create a composite array, but the result does not show all the rows. It is like it had a limit for the row's large that can be shown as a result. I tried to expand it, but it does not work. How can I solve it?
I bought Mathcad 14 over 10 years ago and haven't really used it yet. I have many E books listed in the help dropdown. How do I move a function from a handbook directly into a Mathcad 14 program (project?), so I can use it there?
