Hello,My CREO student version 11.0.0.0  license expired yesterday 10th of august 2025.I don't know how to renew it, I am in a big trouble now, as I was working on a large personal modeling project since more than on year... Could someone help me ?

Looking for a way in a drawing to show the back side of a connector with all of the positions for where a wire could be to be numbered. So in a drawing once the connector is shown (like the ide view from the flat harn file) I can add that photo along with a table to show where each wire goes in the connector. I know I can just show a view of the rear of the connector but I don't know of a way to add numbers or letters and make it something that I can save and just drag in when needed. Added a picture of what I'm looking to do.

We want to export a pvz as obj (or any other 3D-format that Unreal Engine supports).If we import the .pvz as geometry model into Creo Parametric, we get a few error reports without context. The export for all other components work fine but the ones with errors don´t get exported with them.If we import it as automatic (or facet) to Creo Parametric, we have no errors but 0 triangles on export.Are there any reasons why some components are faulty imported as geometry model?We did not create said pvz file, could this be a problem on the creators side, either while creating or exporting?we have tried pretty much everything we found online, please help!!

We are looking at moving our younger students to use Onshape instead of Creo. Mainly as it is web based so student can use a home as it wont be limited to a Windows PC. However for our   A-Level and GCSE Students Creo would still be the go to programme due to the increased features it offers and the rendering capabilities. I understand that OnShape can export STEP IGNS files etc but is there anyway Creo can open an Onshape file which can be Edited  in Creo Ie retains the model history. On  one webpage I found  it doesn’t mention the option to export directly to Creo   But I can see this option on the education version. Is this a possible future update to allow both to work together?

I want to simulate my designed pneumatic gripper. It works with a pneumatic cylinder. I want to move this pneumatic cylinder with the tool "linear motor". The motor should simulate the compressed air which can be turned off and on. A compression spring works against the motor (in real: pneumatic cylinder). So when the motor (in real: compressed air) is turned off, the spring pushes the piston back. How can I edit the linear motor that it turns off and on automatically every to seconds and how can I edit the linear motor that it can be turned on and off by myself whenever I want?

I am not able to install the CREO Education software version 11. I am getting error in the license tab. I have tried many times but couldn't get through it. Please find the attached screenshot of the error.  

Hi support,   I try to reconfigure a new Creo 9.0 student license into a Hyper V image which was exported to my local machine but it gives an error. See image.   Best Regards Bas Verbunt

With reference from the tip  I completed the form yesterday and it said a license file would be emailed within 2 hours, but it's nearly 24 hours later and I haven't received anything yet. I obtained a license file about 7 months ago and it took just minutes. Wondering if there's a problem...

Hi there, forum.For a while now, I've not been able to utilize the Inteligente Fastener tool. After setting up the fastener how I want and clicking OK, a window pops up saying that customizing parts is not available in the standard version, and that I need to contact my account manager to upgrade. I have never changed anything in the original files and I'm trying to use the tool just like I did a few versions ago, when it worked just fine.Is Intelligent Fastener not available in the student version anymore? Or am I messing up something?

   Hey, Ich wollte meine Studenten Lizens aktuallisieren und habe es versucht über die automatische aktualisierung zu machen, was mir die Fehlermeldung: Kunde nicht verifiziert gibt. (sehe Anhang 1).  darauf hin habe ich versucht über die Installationsassistent die Lizenz neu zu laden und beim eingeben meines Benutzer und Passwort, kommt ein Fehler. (sehe anhang 2)

Dear Team,what can I do to get the Licence bug fixed?The old licence expired on 16.04.2025, in the meantime my PC had an update from windows 10 to Windows 11  (64bit each)I tried to follow the licence renewing process, but the system does not verify me as customer.  First question: I hope Win 11 is working in general?second question: What is to be done to solve the licence problem? Thanks in advance! Johannes 

How to solve this problem in Creo Parametric 8.0.4.0

I have problems installing Creo Students. I have already downloaded the required files without any problems, but I can't get it installed. When I click on setup, a loading spinning top appears briefly and then nothing happens. I have also tried to download another Creo version but that doesn't work either. What could be the problem?

When I try to instal Creo 10.0.0.0 parametric with the student licence, i followed the file install_creo10_unistudent_standard.pdf to run it and to setup. I've downloaded every part of creo (parametric, simulate toolkit and so on...) and when it is done, it freezes, i can open it.The licence is in the text's file, and the source for reach it during the setup is according to it.I have shown it to a man who setup it often and he do not know neither.Can you help me pls ?

Dear PTC-Community, I have the problem that when I use the license, which I got from my uni professor I get error message. But I already had the programm before and it worked with out any problems. I had to switch my C driver so I had to reinstall everything and now it doesnt work anymore. Does anybody know how to solve this issue, because I willneed it in a few days so I can finish my project.

Hello, Is there a way to hide or turn off visible edges in section view, when rotating models around?  When turning away from the cut side, the edges of the part(s) are still visible, and this can be very annoying.  Please see example image attached.  I have already tried going through all settings and Config editor, and cant find anything relating to this. Thank You!

    Dear Creo Support Team, My name is Minh, a student at Ho Chi Minh City University of Technology and Education (HCMUTE). While working on a design project using Creo, I encountered a technical issue and would appreciate your assistance. Specifically, I need to create an inclined pipe that passes through a selected plane (highlighted in green in the attached image). I have already created auxiliary planes and sketched the flanges and the initial pipe segment. However, I'm unsure how to correctly construct the inclined pipe so that it intersects the plane as required. I would be grateful if you could provide guidance on the correct steps or which tools (such as Sweep, Extrude along a trajectory, Datum Plane, etc.) I should use in this case.
