hi guys, i want to know if is possible change default color piping (blue) in assembly for different piping lines in the same. If someone have some tutorial too, i will appreciate if facilitated. Hi,I am trying to base my calculations around eurocodes which uses a lot of subscript notations to define things, including commas i.e. Nt,Rd where t,Rd should be subscript. However I can only seem to put one continous list of characters subscripted and no commas when defining a variable in Mathcad. Is there a way of doing this? (I am usimg Mathcad Prime 2.0)Thanks in advance,Rob

I am sure this question has been asked 1 million times, I tried to look up the forum, but I still cannot spot my error. I was practicing the odesolve function...but I do not know what mistake I made...1st file is just a copy of a mathcad file posted by valery. I just put in everything again and see if I understand the logic...but then I have an error ofThis value must be a function, but has the form: Unitless. 2nd file is just 1 ode, but it says I have to many initial condition, when I delete one it says variable not defined.Please help

If you see the attached jpeg, you can see what I want to do (assuming my Snagit skills are good enough).I want to pierce a semi-circle and bend it up 90 degrees along the axis of the semi-circle. Seems easy, doesn't it? I start with a planar wall, no openings. I would have though some kind of rop to start with, but I can't do a sketched rip without going completely to the edge of the model, and I only want to rip a half circle, not the whole thing.I also don't want to remove material if I can help it. Is there a simplae way to do this without cutting an opening then adding a wall? Even tha doesn't work if I use a flat wall - it won't rotate it up, only down, and then only about 10 degrees. I cant handle with conversion of any file from 15 to Prime 2.0 version. Still receive a message that conversion cannot be started because previous version of Mathcad is running.. I'm trying to kill all processes but it doesn't give any effect. Is somebody able to convert it for me? Thanks in advance.

I cannot find any training material regarding "Find Numbers" and "Line Numbers" in Windchill. What they do, How are they different, How to edit them? I searched the Knowledge Base and got nothing remotely close to these topics...

I am a college student and am currently using Pro/Engineer Wildfire 5.0, I have had a few courses in Pro/E but dont know many of the advanced functions of Pro/E. Hello all, I want to reproduce with Mathcad some symbolic quantum mechanics calculations done with Mathematica. It is just standard homework question. Occasionally, the correct formal equation just stall. It is a lost cause or does it some special syntax I am not aware of ? I am using Mathcad 15. Thanks for the help, Pierre

I get the an error message when trying to solve a non-linear equation system. Next to the Find statement it says: 'This variable is undefined'. I can't find any mistake in the sheet and I don't know what's going on . How to create an array of 16 lines meeting at the origin without drawing it manual?   Is there a button to do this? I'm trying to simulate/animate a mechanism that represents something simular to a fabric roll-up window blind. I've attached a small video that show my approach using a cam follower and what you will see is that the connection seams to jump off the surface at one point over to another. If I could get this to work I could attach slats to represent the fabric. Ideally, if I could use a surface some how to represent the fabric... this would be better. If someone has a better approach (which I'm sure's one), I would appreciate any/all help.

Does anyone know which preference to set in Windchill that would control what objects a user sees in the set state UI? I have found one that controls revise and it works great for revise...... We have a real problem with some users here that set state on whatever shows up in the UI (FAMILY TABLES). I want to limit what it displays to initially selected and the related drawing only. I need to display 3 straight lines on the same graph (I'll be using the graph to work out area integrals in the region below the straight lines).I've managed to have 2 lines but I don't seem to be able to add a 3rd one. It's probably a very simple thing How do I do that, please?

When I use a numeric assignment with a symbolic evaluation I now get an undefined variable error. I am amazed I haven't noticed this before, and I am wondering when the bug cropped up. I'm running MC15 M020. Could someone with M010 check, and see if they get the same error.

When I change a feature dimension in Creo 2 (select feature, RMB and select edit) Creo pauses, regenerates the model and updates the screen.  Kinda neat except the model isn't really regenerated, it only looks like it is.  Once I'm done I need to regen it again (or if I hit the magic left mouse click, sometimes it regens itself.  Soemtimes not, but that's another discussion.)  If the change is significant that means staring at my screen for a long time twice to wait for Creo do regen the same change.  And if I need to change 2 dimensions, that means 3-4 regens, 3 dims = 4- regens, etc. While it's nice to see the change previewed, I'd like to turn it off since it's only a preview and not a real regen adn simply wastes time.  What's the config option to do that?This thread is inactive and closed by the PTC Community Management Team. All, I've put together a linked chain model (like a bicycle chain) and have put in all the individual links with connections (slots and pins) but I've got 2 problems; Regen time; if I add a planar constraint to each link (which would be redundant) will this help or hurt? Othe suggestions or techniques for modeling this? I need to be able to animate this in the end for a video (and the chain has cleats and other special links on it) How do I add a motor to this? There may be a Mathcad bug in the attached Mathcad file.The symbolic partial derivative evaluated with respect to the variable C59 should be zero as the equation can be simplified to not include any C59 terms.When the differentiate operator is used on the un-simplified equation with respect to C59 a non-zero symbolic derivative results. I'm afraid that this may affect the symbolic results of other equations.Other than simplifying the equations, is there a workaround to this issue?Thank you!
