Hi everyone!I have a problem with 3D plotting of function and I have no idea why it occurs!My function contains two of them: w1(x,y) and w2(x,y) and in fact w2(x,y) is 0.w1(x,y) is in range of 0<x<2a w2(x,y) is in range of 2a<x<3a2D Contour plot looks quite good but mathcad says that 3D plot cannot be executed because it doesn't evaluate to real number.What is curious, the program doesn't have problems with 3D plotting of neither w1(x,y) nor w2(x,y).I've attached the file.Any ideas?I would appreciate any solution.regardskoffaleq

I am trying to use a Motion Skeleton to drive a pantograph mechanism. I create my Motion Skeleton, create my Design Skeleton, create my (7) Body Skeletons, then try to put some limits on my axes. Whenever I flex my Motion Skeleton, it seems hell-bent on folding up so that several of my Body Skeletons lie on top of each other. This is clearly not the case in the Design Skeleton. Once it has made up its mind to do this, there seems to be no way to get the offending Bodies to clamber off each other and resume a separate existence. It seems to me that the system has settled on what I believe to be an impossible configuration. Even if I am wrong, it is a highly unlikely configuration, and certainly not one that resembles the Design Skeleton sketch. Now, call me an incurable optimist, but I am sure there must be an easy way to revert the Motion Skeleton to the configuration shown in the Design Skeleton. hi guys.I have a serious trouble with a drawing file (i use creo 2.0), because when i work with them, it crash after 2 or 3 minutes. i check the 3d models and this don't corrupt. Hello , i have a a set of undefined functions phi1(t) , phi2(t) , phi3(t) and i would like to use them as variables throughout my calculations without having that red undefined functions set.The objectives of the worksheet; - define f(x,t)=phi(t) * g(x,t) - compute some intermediate KE , Ums , Ubs with f(x,t) -assemble KE , UMS , UBS in L(t) -- > L(t):= K2*phi(t)^2+K1*phi(t)+K1*phi^2(t)+K0d/dt(phi(t)) - find d/dt( phi(t)) in L(t) -use result to compute D(t,phi) ---> can't extract from "find" array - solve using RKadaptWhat puzzles me more is that computations are working fine from the start and it stops working right where i need it most.

I've a problem to solve such equations, one unknown variable, but infinite solutions, it seems mathcad only return the first one, anyone can confirm this ? And how to handle these equations in MatchCAD? Thanks.

Hi, I want to create the initial matrix by using a "Text Box" control. In an attachment you can find an example of creating a column vector. Is it possible to correct the program (using the separator character ";" [or may be other] for the rows) for creating matrix with "m*n" size?

Is there a API to get the Describe Parts from the WTDocument type??Particular version of my WTDocument have muliple links with parts.I need to retrieve all the describe by parts from that version of my document.Need some help here.thank you

The goal is to generate streamline, pathline, streakline and timeline for any arbitary velocity field, 2D or 3Dattached is what I have so far...using odesolve. at this point, the worksheet works for some velocity field, but not all...the problem is in the streakline program I guess, or it is the odesolve fail to converge. Please see the red box in the file for my specific question..I have trouble with the steps used to define the initial condition of the odesolve. The problem only show up for some function. Is there a better way to write this? This seems to be quite long, long enough that I am not sure if I am writing the logic correctly.I also need a more robust way too, because right now it seems it work sometimes only. Please test it with any thing you can think of. it seems my streakline program, which attempts to calculate n particles (or n+1?) that pass through a marker point, the way I do it is to:say the streakline track n marked particles at time tand the first particle passes

Hi,   I was wondering if someone could help me with this. I noticed that TT fonts print really nice in Creo View. I'd like to change the default font in my drawing's default text style to a common Windows TT font, but not sure how to do it. I came across a prodiagram.dtl file in my working directory that shows the font options, but I can't change it. I'm currently trying to loop with a customized HTML report through my document and format the elements depending on their category. I start with a query and loop through the hierarchy with relationshipsdetail (displayed only until Level 2 below). What I need is the redpart of the report, i.e. how to differentiate between the elements once I found one. If I put the field[Category] within the filter, sorting by section does not properly work. So i am making the move to Prime 2.0 from mathcad 14 and i was reading through some tutorials and help topics in the help center to familiarize myself with the new system. I was trying to do an example of odesolve from the help center and i am having issues. I entered the info into Mathcad exactly as it is in the tutorial, but i am getting the screen shown in the picture. If you do a search in the help center for "Solving ODEs" you can find the example i am trying to do. Any help would be appreciated. I tried to do a search on the error in the red box, but i didnt find anything.

I would like to edit holes notes either in part notes or in drawings notes. After the 1.250 deep note in the first line, I would like to add MIN. Hello everybody,I need some help to select sevral lign in a matrix using a logical test and then create a vector which wwould summarize all selected items.To be more accurate, my problem is to select the right "spring" cosidering given deflexion and maximum reaction load within this loading configuration. I already creat a fonction which calculat the reaction load for a given deflexion and spring model ( equ_paulstra_reactionload("matrix of the approximated polynomial coeficient which give reaction load in function of the deflexion","deflexion","ligne of the considered model" ). Hello,I am a relatively new ProE/CREO 2.0 user. I used to work with Solid Edge 4 and NX7.5, but in my new department they are using Wildfire 4.0 and are STILL thinking about moving to CREO 2.0. It did not stop me from trying Creo2.0.Concerning the topic, when making a drawing in Solid Edge, I used to be able to the area of ANY closed loop in 3 clicks ("Inspect" Tab-->"Area" icon --> Click on the "closed loop"..Tadaaaa!!!). Is there a way to do the same thing in ProE or Creo2.0??? especially when you have a variable sweep geometry, you created a section view in your drawing, and you want to know the area of the section without having to go back to the 3D model...for example...Thank you in advance for your answer. Right, weird problem over the last two days. We even resorted to trying to get through on the PTC help line but gave up. One of the guys creo2 installs is doing this weird thing when you go to open a previously made drawing. All the views and annotations (notes and dimensions) have become invisible and impossible to turn back on.. They are there because you can mouse over them plus some random axis are visible where each of the views should be. If I open the drawing on my machine it opens up fine. So this is also complicated a little bit by the fact that we had just installed windchill on his machine the week earlier and we were using configs provided by PTC. He was working offline on these drawings that were previously not created in windchill... Not sure if the Windchill part is relevent but windchill is part of the story and with the trouble we have had with it, nothing would surprise me. -So to simplify things we uninstalled creo2 from his machined and reinstalled it (without sett

Hello.I am a student at HTW Berlin and I currently use Creo Elements Pro 5.0 Students edition.When I installed it on my laptop, I had to generate a licence file.Here is my question:I might have to refresh my OS because of graphics problems (I am not sure if it is a hardware or software problem).After the refresh, I will lose all installed programs.Will it be possible to reinstall Creo Elements Pro just like I had done before and generate a licence file online with my student account or would PTC think I am trying to install it on another computer, making it necessary to contact PTC and explain the situation?Regards,M.
